Seeing Bai Tang blocked and unable to retort, Hong Yi’s lips curled slightly.
"Since Uncle Ming got this for you for protection, wear it properly, don’t take it off casually." Hong Yi said as she handed the Jade Pendant back to him.
Bai Tang refused to take it, even childishly putting both hands behind his back with a proud stance: "I, Bai Tang, never take back things I’ve given away. If you don’t want it, just throw it away."
"Do you really think I don’t dare to throw it?"
"You..." Bai Tang was furious.
"I already said it’s for protection. Woman, did you leave your brain behind tonight or what?"
Couldn’t she tell he was worried about her, so he gave her sothing for protection?
"I don’t believe in any gods, I only trust myself."
"Just hold onto it, why so much talk? Aren’t you going to Jun Moyan? Why waste ti with here?"
"..."
Hong Yi looked at the jade pendant in her hand, sowhat speechless, stepped forward wanting to stuff the jade pendant back into Bai Tang’s pocket.
Bai Tang dodged
While the two were entangled over the jade pendant, Ais was led here by that strange sense within his body.
The sense grew stronger and stronger, and seeing Bai Tang and Hong Yi not far away, Ais hesitated for a mont.
Then he imdiately quickened his pace forward, wanting to confirm whether the person he was supposed to find was Bai Tang or Hong Yi.
Jun Moyan had been following closely behind the strangely behaving Ais.
Just as Ais wanted to step forward and confirm, a gunshot suddenly rang from the direction of the hall.
The hall instantly fell into chaos.
Bai Tang, Hong Yi, Ais, and Jun Moyan were all startled.
Bai Tang looked towards the direction of the hall, his face suddenly changed.
"Grandpa."
He was about to rush to the hall to check the situation when a group of black-clad n suddenly surged out of the darkness, surrounding Bai Tang and Hong Yi.
Ais reacted quickly, discreetly withdrawing to avoid falling into their midst.
Suddenly his arm was tugged, pulling him behind a tree. Ais was shocked and turned to see it was Jun Moyan.
"Who are you people? Do you dare trespass into my Bai Family, are you tired of living?" Bai Tang questioned the suddenly appearing black-clad n with a wary expression.
"Hmph, Master Xiaobai, it’s not that we Baiming Sect didn’t give you a chance, it’s that your Bai Family are too ungrateful. Since you’re so unappreciative, don’t bla us."
"Baiming Sect? You’re crazy! Do you know who all is at my Bai Family tonight? I think the ones who are clueless are you, Baiming Sect."
"Do you think we Baiming Sect would be afraid?"
Hong Yi looked at the fearless black-clad n claiming to be from the Baiming Sect, leaned close to Bai Tang and whispered: "They’re not from Baiming Sect. If I’m not mistaken, it’s the New Organization from M country, wanting to fra Baiming Sect and provoke conflict between your Bai Family and Baiming Sect."
She ca here tonight to find Jun Moyan, because she sensed the actions of the New Organization, and unexpectedly, they really arrived.
"Leave this to , you go to the hall and find your grandpa, their target should be your Bai Family mbers."
Bai Tang was taken aback, not expecting Hong Yi to do this.
He looked toward the hall where chaotic sounds continued to erge, then at Hong Yi beside him.
For a mont, he was in a dilemma.
"Let’s go."
Jun Moyan, hiding nearby, observed the situation, then pulled Ais toward the hall.
"Why?" Ais wasn’t willing to leave without confirming.
"To save people."
Jun Moyan said just this, then dragged Ais forcefully toward the hall...
