“Dr… Dr. Lee…” Star’s dad couldn’t help himself. He asked cautiously, “Is there sothing wrong with our Star?”
Li Mingde ignored him and kept his eyes lowered.
When he didn’t say anything, Star’s parents beca even more nervous. They asked him a few questions, but he didn’t respond. Star’s parents could only look at Dean He for help. Dean He was a kind person. “Doctor Li, how is your examination going?”
Li Mingde raised his eyelids and said slowly, “Let see what dicine the patient is taking.”
“Oh… Oh.” Star’s father hurriedly searched the drawers and found quite a few. Li Mingde looked at them one by one and said impatiently, “Is there anything else missing from here?”
Star’s mother took a box out of her bag. “And this!”
The dicine Teng Hua prescribed was not the most expensive, but the reason she kept it in her bag was because it was her child’s life-saving dicine!

Li Mingde took the dicine box and shook his head as he looked at it for a long ti. He had actually wanted to study Teng Hua’s dicine before, but because of his pride, he could not. Now, he could do it legitimately.

“Side effects?” Star’s parents were stunned.

“It’s just so of the bad effects of the dicine,” said Li Mingde rcilessly. “Teng Hua isn’t a miracle doctor either. The dicine he gave you helped treat the patient’s illness, but it also has so bad effects.”
“Don’t talk nonsense!” Star’s face imdiately flushed red. Teng Hua was like a god in her heart now. How could she allow soone to say that about her Sister Teng Hua?
Li Mingde imdiately smiled and laughed at this child’s naivety. He was about to say sothing even more overboard when Star’s parents hurriedly said, “Dr. Li, this way please. Let’s talk outside!”
In the child’s heart, Teng Hua was her savior. If her faith collapsed, the consequences might not be less than physical destruction.
Star had suffered enough over the years. She had struggled with hope and despair several tis and was still so obedient and sensible.
