“Miss, please wait for a mont.” The manager could only say this. “The auction house’s doctor won’t be able to arrive so soon. For now, we’ll trust Miss Sheng.”

“…” Kang Sinuo didn’t know what kind of drug Sheng Yang had given the manager, but when she thought about how the other people at the auction just now were all respectful toward Sheng Yang just because of her grandmother’s presence, she had a thought and went over to ask for help. However, when the others heard her, they just shook their heads.

Kang Sinuo was really confused. “Weren’t you giving her face just because of my grandma?”

“No.” An old employee who had worked at the auction house for the longest ti and whose hair had already turned white stood up. “We’re respectful because we truly respect Miss Sheng. Although we haven’t spent much ti with her, we can tell that she’s a very smart person. She’s as quick-witted as Mr. Kang.”

“…” Kang Sinuo couldn’t believe it. Was there sothing wrong with their brains? How could such a young girl be compared to her father?

It was fine if one person said that, but two or three… So many people actually had such opinions.

She was bursting with curiosity. It was impossible for Sheng Yang to gain so much trust without having done anything. She really wanted to know what Sheng Yang had done.

But the most important thing now was Grandma’s condition.

No matter how bewitching Sheng Yang was, Grandma’s health could not take that risk.

By the ti Kang Sinuo rushed back, the doctor from the auction house had arrived. He was a respectable old doctor, and accidents often happened in the auction house. The old doctor had to be present to handle any ergencies.

Sheng Yang was almost done. Seeing that Old Madam Kang was fine, she gave up her spot next to the old madam.

The old doctor took her pulse and looked uneasy.

He wouldn’t normally take more than 20 seconds to take a patient’s pulse, but this ti, his fingers stayed on Old Madam Kang’s wrist. He even switched hands. His eyes were unreadable, and so were his thoughts.

Kang Sinuo was worried about her grandmother, and her heart was in her mouth. At the sa ti, she couldn’t care less about her identity as a lady from a wealthy family and openly glared at Sheng Yang.

If anything happened to her grandmother, no matter how her father tried to stop her, she would never let Sheng Yang off!

Sheng Yang turned a blind eye to everything.

The old doctor stood up slowly and stroked his beard. “Who was the one who perford the ergency treatnt?”

The manager opened his mouth and hesitated. Before he could say anything, he was interrupted by Kang Sinuo. She pointed at Sheng Yang. “It’s her, it’s her!”

There was even so resentnt in her tone.

The old doctor walked forward and sized up Sheng Yang. A look of disbelief gradually appeared on his calm face. “That’s impossible, right?”

“Why is it impossible? The manager stopped just now!” Kang Sinuo looked aggrieved. “Doctor, tell what happened to my grandma!”

The ambulance would arrive in about five minutes. If the old doctor had any dical advice, they could follow it.

The old doctor smiled. “Miss Kang, you have to thank the manager.”

“?”

“The old lady is fine now. The old lady had a thrombosis just now. If this young lady hadn’t dealt with it in ti, even if I ca, the old madam would’ve been in grave danger. She might have suffered a stroke or even died.”

Kang Sinuo took a deep breath. She couldn’t believe it. As she looked at Sheng Yang with a complicated gaze, she couldn’t help but ask, “Grandma’s blood sugar isn’t stable. Is this related to her taking sugar just now?”
