Chapter 568: Is It the Trend Now to Show Off Your Love in Front of Others?

“What are you standing there for? Co here,” Quan Jue said in a mild tone.

Chi Jiao dragged the mirror spirit, who was reluctant to go near Quan Jue, towards the sofa.

She sat down on the sofa and looked at him with her big, sparkling eyes. “Brother Quan, you’re smoking.”

She could sll tobacco on Quan Jue.

This wasn’t a common occurrence.

Mixed with his usual body scent, it actually slled quite nice.

“You don’t like the sll?” Quan Jue asked slowly.

Chi Jiao shook her head. “Smoking is harmful to your health.”

“I won’t smoke anymore,” Quan Jue said bluntly.

His gaze then fell on the mirror spirit, who was sitting beside Chi Jiao.

The mirror spirit’s red dress was dirty, its hair was a little ssy, and its eyes were rather swollen. It looked like a pitiful little girl who had just been bullied.

Seeing that Quan Jue was looking at it, the mirror spirit instinctively shrank back, looking very scared.

“Who is this?” Quan Jue asked.

Chi Jiao really hadn’t figured out how to explain this mirror spirit to him.

However, before she could say anything, the mirror spirit poured out all of its history and everything that had happened the previous night.

It spoke very quickly. Chi Jiao was still in a daze after it finished speaking.

Quan Jue had already figured it out. He imagined Chi Jiao and Beitang Lie working together.

His dark eyes narrowed slightly, exuding a dangerous cold glint.

“Brother Quan, Beitang Lie is a staff mber of 117. He’s my subordinate,” Chi Jiao quickly explained.

Quan Jue grunted indifferently. There was no special emotion on his fair face.

“Apart from work, I have no other contact with him,” Chi Jiao added.

Quan Jue grunted again.

Chi Jiao shifted closer to him and gave him a peck on the cheek. “Don’t be angry.”

She didn’t know how to use fancy words or how to coax people.

She could only use the simplest and most direct thod to express the purest emotions in her heart.

The young man’s cold expression finally eased. He tapped his thin lips with his slender fingers.

Chi Jiao pecked him again on his thin lips.

The mirror spirit widened its eyes at the scene.

Was it a trend now to show off your love in front of others?

Could these two consider its feelings first before showing off their love?

“Your father went on a business trip. Are you planning to keep this thing at ho?” Quan Jue asked as he pointed at the mirror spirit.

When the mirror spirit heard Quan Jue refer to it, its eyes nearly popped out.

This… thing?

He actually dared to call the esteed great Mirror Spirit a thing?!

The mirror spirit felt very aggrieved and angry.

But it didn’t dare to say anything.

Chi Jiao smiled and nodded. “We have to keep it with us for the ti being. We’ll send it away after we figure out how to deal with it.”

Chi Jiao glanced at the mirror as she spoke.

The mirror spirit shivered again. If possible, it really wanted to shrink to the size of an ant and escape.

“Brother Quan, I’ll bring it up first,” Chi Jiao said.

She had sothing to ask the mirror spirit.

Quan Jue grunted his assent.

After bringing the mirror spirit back to her room, Chi Jiao saw that it was dirty all over. She frowned and said, “Take a shower first.”

Hearing her words, the mirror spirit’s little face quickly turned red. “I… I don’t want to shower.”
