Chapter 554: I Like Her Very Much
The ear-piercing noise made Chi Jiao cover her ears with her hands. Imdiately after, she heard a ghost-like voice coming from the loudspeaker.
“Hehehehe, the hospital director is about to begin today’s treatnt. Please wait in the large ward on the top floor of Block A, hehe. The hospital director will treat everyone. Please, please look forward to it…”
The strange voice was accompanied by a faint static sound. Just hearing it made one’s hair stand on end. The loudspeaker stopped blaring, and the huge hospital returned to silence.
“Block A… isn’t that the building I’m in?” Seeing the large “A” in front of the room number, Chi Jiao confird that this was Block A and imdiately walked towards the top floor.
Chi Jiao was very careful along the way. As she went upstairs, she t a few other nurses along the long corridor. However, because they didn’t have eyes, they didn’t notice Chi Jiao’s presence in the darkness. She managed to make the journey safe and sound.
Just as Chi Jiao was about to walk up to the roof, a girl’s coquettish voice suddenly sounded from behind her. It made Chi Jiao stop in her tracks warily and quickly turn her head to look behind her.
“Chirp?” The little pink lizard tilted its head in confusion at her.
“Pinky, didn’t you hear laughter?” Chi Jiao asked.
The little pink lizard tilted its head in bewildernt and shook its little head.
Chi Jiao looked around carefully but did not see anyone.
No matter how puzzled she was, she had no choice but to give up and continue walking upstairs.
After Chi Jiao went upstairs, a pale little girl in a red shirt suddenly appeared where she was originally standing.
“Hehehehe, a big brother and big sister have co this ti. This big sister is so special. She’s not afraid of anything. I like her very much.” After the little girl said that, she hugged the teddy bear in her arms even tighter.
“Roar!” At that mont, a female nurse walked over with bared fangs and brandished claws. She ran straight for the little girl.
The little girl’s face was pale as she turned to look at the nurse. “Are you blind? You don’t even recognize ?”
The nurse clearly did not recognize her and reached out to grab the little girl.
The young girl snorted proudly and snapped her fingers.
The nurse’s head exploded with a bang, causing blood to splatter everywhere. The sll was nauseating.
The little girl didn’t even look at the mangled corpse. She snorted and continued up the stairs.
Chi Jiao lightened her footsteps and ca to the platform.
To her surprise, there was no empty space on the rooftop. Instead, it was a huge treatnt room made of glass.
The cold moon in the sky cast a terrifying glow. Various treatnt facilities and hospital beds were neatly arranged on the rooftop.
However, the patients lying on the beds were all abnormal. All of them were wearing tattered hospital gowns and looked more like corpses. They all had different manners of death. So were charred, so had long needles stuck all over their bodies, so were bitten to death by venomous snakes, so had their upper bodies locked in tal buckets, and so looked like they had been starved to death.
