She Qi curled his lips and turned to look at the abandoned building. “There’s no hurry. I will deal with him myself when he’s no longer useful.”

Ti passed quietly. That night, at around 9 PM.
The 117 staff who had been searching for more than ten hours in the developnt zone were all so tired that they couldn’t walk anymore. They sat on the ground and panted heavily.
Most of these people were mbers of the security departnt. Among them, Zhan Tingting was the most tired. Not bothering about how she would look, she plopped down on the ground, taking deep breaths. “I... I can’t take it anymore. We’ve been searching for the entire day. I can’t take another step.”
They all agreed with Zhan Tingting’s words when the others heard her.
There were too many construction sites and abandoned buildings in the developnt area. It would be like finding a needle in a haystack if they wanted to find a living person who could easily move around.
“You’ve all worked hard today. Go back and rest.” Di Ziyan was also there. He had his back toward his team, and he didn’t seem to have any intention of going back with them.
“Division Head, aren’t you coming with us? You haven’t slept for two days. Shouldn’t you go ho and rest for the night?” The Deputy Division Head of the security departnt stood up and advised him.
Di Ziyan’s expression was serious. He shook his head and sighed. “I’m fine. Boss said that we need to narrow down the area as soon as possible. She will co over personally to capture the murderer after that. I must find Pan Guming tonight. You guys go back and rest. Co over tomorrow morning to replace .”
“Division Head, are you going to stay behind alone? That’s too dangerous.” Zhan Tingting looked at his back worriedly.
“It’s alright. Pan Guming’s not my match even if we go head-to-head. Alright, you guys go back first. Don’t worry about .” With that, Di Ziyan quickened his pace towards an old, half-demolished bungalow.
“Sigh. Division Head is really stubborn. No choice. Let’s go back first.” The Deputy Division Head stood up and shook out his sore arms and legs.
“Huh? Are we really going to leave the Division Head behind?” Zhan Tingting asked uneasily.
“Division Head is very strong. Pan Guming is no match for him. Don’t worry. Let’s leave.” With that, the remaining people led Zhan Tingting by the hand and left the developnt area.
Half an hour later.
Di Ziyan ventured deeper into the abandoned area.
There were half-demolished houses everywhere, with many abandoned items and broken bricks on the ground. One couldn’t walk too quickly. Di Ziyan carefully surveyed his surroundings as he moved forward.
He suddenly heard a rustling sound in the darkness.
“Who is it?” Di Ziyan stopped warily and looked around.
“ow~” A stray cat suddenly walked out of the ruins not far away and stared at him with cold eyes.
He relaxed a little.
However, Di Ziyan soon realized that sothing was wrong.
At first, there was only one cat, but the number of cats around him gradually increased. He was now surrounded by hundreds of them.
