’As always, Miranda knows what I want without having to say it.’
A small smile blood on Jamie’s face, but it quickly disappeared when he returned his focus to the dragon.
"What was this one’s na again? I know it sounded sothing like Pirate or so..."
Since he could not rember the dragon’s na, Jamie teleported right in front of her and decided to ask.
"Hey, what was your na again? Pirate? Piratus?"
"It’s Pirantu you damned bloodsucker!!"
She scread out in response while she threw a punch with her fist engulfed in bright red flas, but Jamie just used his spatial expansion on the space in front of it, while nodding in affirmation.
"I knew it was similar to Pirate!"
The Dragon, Pirantu, had her brows twitch in annoyance as she infused universal law energy into her fist, before pulling it out of the effective range of his technique.
At the sa ti, Jamie jumped backwards, creating distance between them as he analysed everything about Pirantu with his knowledge law energy.
’Ikerth’s Lieutenant, huh?
Leaving her position aside, it seems she’s now on the level of a Senior Race Lord...however, this body here is nothing more than an avatar she’s placed her consciousness into.
An Interdiate Stage Sovereign realm one.’
The World Laws of Zotov prevented beings in it from exerting above transcendent level power, so for beings who had surpassed transcendence, they either had to limit themselves like Miranda did or use Avatars.
Pirantu chose the latter option.
’She was a Peak Ranked Dragon back then, to think that she’s only on the level of a Race Lord even after all this ti has passed.’
The man shook his head with disappointnt as he discerned her real stage of power, deciding that he had expected too much from the Red Dragon.
Even though he was the reason why her realm progression was so ’slow’.
Anyway, the Pirantu he was now faced with, was in quite a deplorable state, as the sheer amount of damage that his earlier attack had dealt to her had carved out a huge chunk of her health values.
She also consud quite a lot of energy to prevent her body from being dragged towards the spatial rupture that opened up.
The fact that Jamie could release such an attack despite being injured spoke of how high his attack potency was.
But it wasn’t enough to kill her, however, as if he wanted to kill a Sovereign like her in one shot, sothing that could blow a mountain to bits wasn’t enough.
The existence realm difference between them was not just ’two stages’ as it may seem to be at a glance. There was a huge power gap between Legendries and Sovereigns, after all.
However, for a nonstandard like Jamie, dealing with this injured Interdiate Stage Sovereign whose power had dropped by at least a stage was not going to be much of a problem.
A montary silence pervaded the area between the two of them, enough ti for Pirantu to use a healing artifact on herself.
Her skin which had been burned so much that one could see her bones clearly, slowly began covering up, whilst the broken bones she had been forcefully moving with energy nded themselves.
But even so, she knew that it was not going to be enough if she wanted to defeat Jamie.
’If this avatar is destroyed, it’d take a while before I can reconstruct another that conforms to this world’s laws...’
She thought this to herself as she closely watched the Hybrid who was just standing there with his hands in his pocket, keeping her senses close to the ambient space law energy as well.
When her healing treasure had run out of power after healing her to a sufficient level, she attacked.
Kicking off the ground, she jumped into the air and spun her body, descending rapidly with her leg stretched out, intending to slam her heel right into Jamie’s head.
For beings who had ridiculous regeneration, targeting vitals like the head or heart was standard practice—though it didn’t really an much to Jamie.
Anyway, our resident Hybrid wasn’t just gonna stand there and get axe-kicked in the head, so he naturally jumped out of the way and let her leg slam right onto the ground, sending cracks spiderwebbing across the crater and digging it even deeper.
Despite having missed her mark, Pirantu was undeterred, her yellow pupils locking onto Jamie’s form.
**RUMBLE!!
The rumbling sound preceded the earth underneath Jamie’s position caving open and paving the way for a stream of red-hot flas to erupt like a geyser, aid at the airborne Hybrid.
It was a sight that resembled a mini volcanic eruption, as the universal law energy contained in those flas made it seem like it was lava.
Continuing the attack chain, Pirantu slamd her palms together and ford four five-ringed magic circles all around Jamie, each one launching a similar stream of lava-like flas towards him.
***BOOOOOMMM!!!!
Smoke and flas billowed towards the skies, accompanied by the omnidirectional shockwaves that spread out from the point of explosion.
A red aura erged from Pirantu’s body and cascaded down her arms, forming a pair of gauntlets which she slamd together before taking a stance.
Imdiately after, a silver-haired figure erged from the smoke and flas, not even a single scratch on his body as if he hadn’t just been hit with the force of five compressed volcanic eruptions.
But Pirantu had expected this, so she carried on with her attacks, punching the empty air in front of her and creating shockwaves from the pressure of her fists which she sent flying towards Jamie in quick succession.
The Hybrid dodged the air fist with relative ease, even having the leeway to replicate her attack and send it back to her.
"Burn him!
Crimson Claws!"
Four-ringed Magic circles manifested mid-air, each one sending gigantic three-pronged constructs of flas towards him but Jamie just coated his hand in spatial law energy, and swung it around him.
The space the spells occupied was carved out, with the spells themselves naturally being unable to withstand Jamie’s spatial destruction.
In the ti it took for him to do that, Pirantu closed in the distance, her fists engulfed in flas as she sent a punch towards Jamie’s head.
The Hybrid tilted his head to the side to avoid the attack, leaving it only able to sing a few strands of his hair.
Pirantu didn’t back down after missing the first one, sliding around to Jamie’s back and delivering a punch filled with a mixture of fla law energy and dense magic power.
The air itself seed to ignite in protest as her fist surged forward, trailing behind it a ribbon of blazing fire.
**BOOOM!!
The usual explosion fanfare rang out with a brilliant impact, casting dazzling cascades of sparks and flas in every direction.
Concussive shockwaves rippled outward, doubling the size of the crater they were fighting in, whilst sending an overwhelming surge of heat and energy spreading outward, reaching the Legendary Realm existences of Zotov who were the first response to one of their mountains suddenly disappearing.
The flas licked hungrily at Jamie’s form, while the magic power moved to disrupt his defences and make him vulnerable.
Imdiately after, Pirantu took a bit of distance to catch her breath, her eyes taking in the sight of her attack’s devastation on the landscape.
Scorch marks marred the earth and the acrid scent of burning air hung heavy in the atmosphere, but the distinctive sll of burning flesh she wanted to perceive did not reach her nose.
"What you just did now...that wasn’t the law of destruction, was it?"
"?!"
Jamie’s voice rang out from beside her, and Pirantu reflexively jumped away with a shocked expression on her face.
’How?! Space should have been temporarily destabilized. He should not have been able to teleport! A Legendary Realm avatar should not be able to!’
The woman narrowed her eyes in Jamie’s direction, not caring if he had a spatially isolated piece of her flas in his palm and was analysing her attack’s component laws.
She silently drew in ambient knowledge law energy into her eyes, and what she saw caused them to widen in surprise.
"...this...your real body..."
Ever since the start, she had been under the assumption that this was so sort of Avatar or clone of Jamie and had just wanted to destroy it to disrupt whatever he ca to this world for, so she had not even bothered checking.
But now, the realisation that this was his real body sent a wave of shock rippling through her.
’He reduced his realm of existence?! Him of all peop-?!’
Pirantu could not even conclude her thought process when Jamie suddenly teleported right in front of her, grabbing onto her right arm and pulling her body towards him.
But just before their bodies touched, Jamie’s fist encased in crackling blue lightning shot out, driving straight into her torso with enough force to turn a skyscraper to dust.
"You’ve had your fun. It’s my turn now."
His words were synchronous with three other punches aid at her shoulder joints and her solar plexus, each carrying an amplified version of his default spatial distortion and his azure lightning.
"And I guarantee you, you’d gladly choose death when I’m done with you."
He let go of her hand and then rapidly spun his body around on a point, delivering with his right leg, a roundhouse kick to the side of her head, but before her body could be sent flying from the sheer force of the kick, Jamie constricted the spatial laws around her to freeze her body in space.
At that sa mont, he dropped his right leg and replicated his movents with his left, kicking her head in the opposite direction.
And then to complete the chain, he disabled the spatial imprisonnt on her and gave her a third kick to her head from the right, the sheer force of the collision between his foot and her head causing the earth around them to collapse.
***BAAAAMMMMMM!!!
The dragon was sent flying through the air, drawing a clean parabolic arc through the air on her way to the ground.
But Jamie didn’t even let her crash land first before throwing in his next attack.
Jamie ford a finger gun with his right hand, pointing it at the airborne Pirantu as he harnessed the laws of space and destruction to generate a projectile.
He channelled his magic power and ether, focusing it through his fingertip as his intent resonated with the two laws.
"Spatial Destruction Shot."
