Vlad was currently in his private residence. He no longer lived in a barrack, as it would not be fit for a King. Instead, he had moved to the high tower in the center of the Silent Wind Military Base, which had been the control center and was now his ho.
From this place, Vlad could see the entire Silent Wind Military Base, and even more importantly, everyone on the base could gaze at him. Every ti a man, woman, or child stared at the tower, they knew a powerful individual was watching over them. That would bring peace to their daily lives and increase Vlad’s stance in their hearts and minds.
The young man was not alone in the tower. Jormungandr perched on his shoulder, and in front of him stood Mirena, Cazan, Clasius, Roman, Frank, and Amara. All the mbers of his inner circle had gathered, along with a small white dog.
Vlad glanced at Oro, the small white dog in Cazan’s hands, unsure whether to laugh or cry. During the last month, Cazan had been entirely focused on his training, leaving the dog in the care of the civilian children. Now that they were reunited, the small white dog refused to leave Cazan’s side, and the man did not have the heart to push him away, so when Vlad summoned him, he also brought Oro.
’Ah, whatever. I guess I should start to consider that little scoundrel part of the inner circle by this point,’ Vlad thought, almost laughing at the idea but quickly focusing on the six soldiers before him.
Each of the six had been instruntal in the fight against the high demonic horde. While Vlad and Jormungandr had borne the heaviest burden, the other six tackled several powerful Champions, allowing the rest of the soldiers to handle the demonic beasts. Had they not shown their incredible power and teamwork, many more people would have died, and the Silent Wind Military Base might not have survived.
"You have all done a great job, showing imnse power and bravery during the clash against the high demonic horde," Vlad’s voice was solemn, indicating the importance of this event. "Every good deed deserves a reward, and there is no better reward than power."
The eyes of the soldiers of the inner circle glowed with excitent as they heard those words. Vlad’s abilities were beyond their realm of understanding, and he seed capable of granting miraculous gifts, so they couldn’t help but wonder what type of reward he would give them.
"I have recently co into the possession of objects that will allow to grant each of you a Runic Set," Vlad noticed the flash of confusion in their eyes and began to explain.
"As you all know, runes can grant all sorts of abilities, such as Amara’s cloaking power that she used during the fight to kill the Champion demon, but a Runic Set is much more than that. It is a collection of interconnected runes inscribed on a person’s body, designed to work in synergy. That harmonization ensures that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual parts, and their enhancent can match that of a bloodline."
Shock overca the group as they heard this. They knew that part of the reason Vlad and Jormungandr were so powerful was their bloodlines, and if the Runic Set could match that, their abilities would increase exponentially.
"Now get in line. I need to analyze your constitutions to determine the power of the Runic Set you can endure," Vlad said in a solemn voice as he stepped forward.
Unlike a rune that only required an energy supply, a Runic Set had much more stringent requirents, the most critical being the capacity of the recipient’s body and soul. Since all the mbers of his inner circle had been nurturing their bodies and souls with Origin Force, there should be no problem.
The group imdiately lined up, waiting for the analysis and hoping it wouldn’t be too uncomfortable. The first was Cazan, and to his surprise, Vlad only placed his hand over his head and closed his eyes.
Seeing this cald the group, especially the won. The truth was that any other Runemaster would have needed to inspect their naked bodies to truly analyze their constitutions, but Vlad could do a much better job with the A.I. Chip, so there was no need for that.
Although he couldn’t deny an interest in the two beautiful won in the group, they were his subordinates, and it was better to keep things professional. As for the n, he was relieved not to have to look at them naked, as just the thought sent a shiver through his spine.
Vlad calmly waited as the A.I. Chip analyzed every inch of Cazan’s body. He had already made the chip go through his Second Past Life’s mories and retrieve all the runes that could be created using the blood of Champion demons. Now, it was just a matter of the A.I. Chip determining the best possible Runic Set for Cazan.

"Excellent, you can endure a very powerful Runic Set. Wait as I finish with the rest of your comrades," Vlad said, setting Cazan to the side before turning to the rest of the inner circle, eager to see what skills they could attain.
