Vlad was surprised by Jormungandr’s stats. Despite being a small yellow cat, his body was already much stronger than a normal Level 3 Warrior, and his energy pool was imnse, to say the least.

’I guess it makes sense he’s so powerful since he’s a Depravita and has been constantly using Origin Force to improve his body,’ Vlad thought with a smile on his face, happy to see how strong the small yellow cat had beco.

After analyzing the small yellow cat, Vlad focused on his own body. "A.I. Chip, scan !"

Note: The Host’s body and spirit have recently encountered a purging and tempering force. All impurities accumulated over the years are gone, drastically improving potential and cultivation speed.]

Vlad couldn’t help but smile at the massive boost in power his body had gained after shattering the Champion barrier. The note about the purging force did not surprise him, as he had already noticed the power inside the golden lighting that flooded his flesh and soul.

The tempering must be a bonus that ca with his World King’s Candidate title. Most likely, the Plane Will wanted him to rise fast in Level so he could be of use to fight aliens and heretics.

The A.I. Chip’s detailed analysis impressed Vlad. It was more potent when done on himself than a foreign target, and its capabilities far surpassed the personal interface granted by the Plane Will.

’I guess I won’t be using the personal interface anymore.’ There was no reason to use an inferior tool when he had sothing better at his disposal. Besides, for Vlad, the A.I. Chip felt much more natural.

"Boss, the power of the A.I. Chip is amazing, but why did it suddenly erge with the golden lightning? Was it granted to you by the Plane Will?" Jormungandr did not accept things happening for any reason, and he imdiately searched for the key behind the A.I. Chip.

Vlad had also thought about that and imdiately shook his head as he knew the return of the A.I. Chip was not directly the Plane Will’s doing. "I think the most likely reason is my Gift. The canonization as a World King’s Candidate and the purifying of my soul must have triggered the power of the Samsara Typhoon. Instead of bringing back mories, it retrieved the pieces of my soul that contained the A.I. Chip."

The young man and the small cat were satisfied with the answer and accepted it. Of course, sothing else might be at play, but jumping to baseless conclusions was useless.

Now that everything was in order and things were finally peaceful again, Vlad closed his eyes and threw himself to the ground. The young man had been in a state of constant stress for the last month and had been pushing himself harder and harder during the preparations for the clash.

It was finally ti to rest, so he closed his eyes and fell asleep. Jormungandr saw how the young man was out cold and showed a small smile before placing himself above Vlad’s chest and falling asleep as well.

...

The sun was at its peak when Vlad awoke, and a sharp light appeared in his eyes as he rose from the ground along with the small yellow cat. The rest had done wonders for him, and he felt full of vigor and strength.

"Let’s see what we have here." Full of energy, Vlad imdiately went through the spoils of war, specifically the space ring of Arasbus.

Arasbus was not just any demon but a mber of the Abyssal Race, the ruling kind of Abyss, so not only did he have a space ring, but Vlad was sure there must be all sorts of useful things in it.

The first thing Vlad saw inside the space ring were weapons. While the Abyssal preferred to use the spiked tallic club, it was clear he was a master of all types of weapons, all of which seed to be of the Champion Tier.

Next, he saw dozens of strange black rocks, so big and others small. Thanks to Asmael’s mories, he recognized them as abyssal gems. These gems contained Abyssal Energy and were used as currency in the cities of Abyss.

Since Vlad was not a demon and could not use Abyssal Energy, he couldn’t use them to cultivate, but that did not an they were useless, as the energy inside them had all sorts of functions.

Vlad continued searching through the space ring and soon found tallic tablets. Once again, he tapped into the stolen mories of the angel and recognized them as mory tablets. They were artifacts that could contain massive amounts of information. You just need to focus on them and channel your energy to access their knowledge.

Vlad imdiately went through each of them, expecting to obtain so valuable information. Still, most of it was just Abyssal cultivation techniques or skills, not helpful for a human like him. Of course, he made sure to add all the information to the A.I. Chip, as it could be useful in the future.

After the mory tablets, Vlad found a myriad of different types of artifacts and treasures. There were even Mage staff and equipnt that clearly did not belong to Arasbus.

"Most likely, they belonged to people the Abyssal had killed and whose belongings were stolen." Vlad deduced the origin of the objects and paid little attention to them as the ones that remained here did not seem valuable.

However, Vlad’s eyes widened suddenly, and a smile appeared on his face as he saw what seed to be a pen. To anyone else, it was nothing but a useless piece of tal, but Vlad saw its true nature and could barely contain his excitent.

"Hahaha, Arasbus, demonic bastard, you keep giving pleasant surprises."
