"That will not happen."
As the entity heard those words, it turned its many eyes. Standing behind it was none other than a man of striking presence: tall, impossibly calm, with white hair and eyes that glimred with universes—each iris filled with strange constellations, patterns of numbers and equations capable of endless combinations.
"You!"
The entity’s voice thundered with rage and hatred. Of all its enemies, it despised Vlad the most. But standing second on its list of hatred was this being.
The A.I. Chip Clone.
He was the one responsible for Atila’s death, for the obliteration of the abomination army using those abominable weapons of mass destruction, and for the chain reaction that had forced it to expose its true body. Had it not been for the calculations, plots, and sches of the A.I. Chip Clone, the tide of battle might have never been turned. The abominations could have overwheld the ground forces of the Xaos Kingdom, risen into the skies to aid the Corruption General, and perhaps even secured the ultimate victory.
Given that bitter truth, it was no wonder the entity was overwheld by hatred and killing intent.
And now, as it stared at this white-haired being, it noticed sothing else: he had co alone. Foolish. Reckless. To the entity, it could only an one thing.
"Die!"
The creature’s body erupted. Its arm swelled grotesquely, twisting into a grotesque pillar of muscle, bone, and tal. It swung with overwhelming might, aiming to crush the Divine Avatar.
Though weakened by the destruction of the nightmare universe, the entity still carried imnse power within its consciousness and soul essence. It had been enough to raise Augustus’ mutated body to a level just shy of the Half-Lord Tier—power sufficient, it believed, to obliterate any Divine Avatar into nothing more than dust.
But its confidence was short-lived.
The colossal fist rocketed forward, tearing the void apart in its path—only to be caught, effortlessly, by Overlord’s naked palm.
"BOOOOOOOM!"
A deafening explosion of energy rippled outward, shaking the void itself as the two forces clashed. Yet the white-haired man stood unmoved, his palm steady, his expression utterly calm.
The entity’s countless faces twisted in confusion. How? How had this being grown so powerful, so quickly?
It had no way of knowing what had transpired in the Exilion World after its defeat.
Faith.
Faith was a malleable, predictable force. The stronger one beca, the greater the energy generated by their belief and prayer. After the great chant to the Xaos God, nearly all Xaos soldiers and mbers of the Rebellion had begun offering daily prayers.
The True Depravita of Wrath himself instinctively refused to absorb this vast ocean of devotion, as the Path of Godhood was not sothing he desired. Instead, it had been Overlord who absorbed it all.
The result was staggering. Overlord had actualized into sothing infinitely stronger, his power rising to unprecedented heights in a span of days.
The entity could not comprehend this growth of strength.
Still, it was not finished.
Its eyes glowed with cold malice. Suddenly, from the point of contact where fist t palm, tendrils of corrupted flesh extended like serpents. They pierced into Overlord’s skin, burrowing deep, carrying with them the essence of mutation.
The entity’s laughter echoed through the void, carried on the countless mouths that sprouted across its grotesque body.
"Hahahaha! Welco to your new ho!"
The corruption slithered through Overlord’s veins, spreading across his forearm, inching closer and closer to his shoulder. The entity could already imagine it—claiming the Divine Avatar, assimilating his flesh and soul, and adding him to its existence. Such a prize would be invaluable, a weapon to heal its injuries and secure vengeance.
But then, sothing unexpected happened.
Just as the corruption was about to reach Overlord’s shoulder, it froze. From deep within the Divine Avatar’s blood, a golden light burst forth. It shimred like the dawn of creation, flooding into the veins and pushing back the writhing corruption.
"What!? How!?"
The entity roared in disbelief.
Its corruption could not infect bodies made of pure psychic energy, such as the True Depravitas. But Overlord’s form was not such a body—he was flesh and blood. Even if that flesh was infused with divine power, it should still have been vulnerable. Its corruption was like cancer: once it reached critical mass, resistance was impossible. No shell could have stopped it, not even a divine one.
And yet—
The golden light did more than resist. It advanced. It surged down Overlord’s veins, expelled the corruption from his body entirely, and then crossed into the entity’s own mutated hand!
The monster’s eyes widened.
And then it saw.
As the entity’s gaze t Overlord’s, it beheld sothing that made even a being older than ti itself recoil in dread.
It was not divinity. It was not rage, nor joy, nor despair.
It was the absence of all things.
A presence devoid of emotion, devoid of morality. A being that did not seek pleasure, nor the rush of victory, nor even survival. Its sole purpose was to fulfill its function—utterly, absolutely—no matter the cost. A being that no fear, despair, or ti could bend.
"What are you!?"
The entity shrieked, struggling to sever the connection, but it could not. The golden light continued to spread across its arm, branching into intricate lines, intersecting in patterns that seed impossibly complex.
Looking closer, it realized the horrifying truth. These were not lines of energy. They were machines.
Billions upon billions of microscopic machines, built seamlessly within blood cells, moving with perfect precision.
Overlord finally spoke, his voice calm and distant, devoid of arrogance or anger—like a machine reciting facts.
"After analyzing your existence, I understood the nature of your power. You are not different from a tumor—flesh and psychic energy grown out of control. So I created a vaccine, a counterasure to neutralize your existence through genetic recoding."
The golden light spread further, burning into the monster’s flesh.
"I only required a fresh sample to teach my Nanocytes what they would face. You provided it when you attempted to assimilate —exactly as my simulations predicted."
