The explosion raged for ten relentless seconds. Mages stood atop the fortress walls, unleashing everything they had been saving for this critical mont. The sky lit up with a kaleidoscope of colors—blues, reds, and violets—as bolts of lightning, fireballs, and shards of ice hurtled toward the advancing Leviathan swarm.

The massive dark swarm reeled under the onslaught. Tens of thousands of drones were obliterated in an instant, their chitinous bodies exploding into fragnts under the sheer power of the spells.

Yet, despite the catastrophic losses inflicted, the Leviathan swarm surged forward, showing no fear. Before they could begin to ascend the mountain, the Turkin riders made their move. Over fifty thousand n and won, clad in armor and mounted on demonic soul steeds, dashed toward the swarm from the left and right flanks.

From the sides, the Turkin soldiers descended upon the Leviathan drones. Their demonic mounts trampled the drones under their massive hooves. The sound of exoskeletons cracking and shattering echoed across the battlefield. Riders swung long, curved swords gleaming with a dark sheen, slicing through the drones easily.

The coordination among the riders was impeccable; they moved as one fluid entity, and their years of training were evident in every maneuver. They weaved in and out of the Leviathan ranks, carving a path of destruction and leaving behind heaps of broken bodies.

Kuro Mountain was massive, its rugged terrain and steep inclines challenging any large-scale movent. It was certainly not as expansive as the plains beyond the walls, which limited the space available for such a sizable force to maneuver. The Turkin riders had prepared ticulously for weeks for this very mont.

Their formations shifted like the ebb and flow of a tide. Units of riders would break off, circle around, and rejoin the main force.

Of course, the efforts of less than seventy thousand riders could not hope to completely stop an army whose numbers surpassed five million. An intentional gap was left in the middle of their formation—a narrow corridor through which the Leviathan swarm could advance.

The swarm of drones was ever searching for any opening to push forward, knowing that the mont they reached the mountain’s peak, everything would be over for the humans. The hive mind did not miss the gap left by the Turkin riders. It calculated the possibility of an ambush but deed the potential gain worth the risk. After all, drones were expendable.

As the smaller Leviathan swarms poured through the gap, chittering and clacking their pincers, they t a powerful resistance. Awaiting them were thousands upon thousands of golden warriors. At their forefront stood a giant nearly fifteen ters tall—Grand Marshal Anglius. Beside him were nineteen n and won who radiated an intense aura, their bodies bursting with bloodline force.

"Now!" Anglius’s voice bood across the battlefield.

In unison, they unleashed their most powerful attacks from the very start. Anglius swung his halberd in a wide arc, a wave of golden energy surging forward and cleaving through the sea of drones. The Bloodline Soldiers each released their unique abilities—so summoned torrents of fire, others unleashed bolts of lightning or piercing shards of ice. The combined onslaught created a devastating wave of destruction that blasted the Leviathans before them for nearly five hundred ters.

The Golden Wave Legion and the Shadowstrike Legion combined into a formidable force. They beca the spearhead of the battlefield, taking on the brunt of the Leviathan assault while the Turkin riders continued to clean the flanks.

"AHHHH!" Grand Marshal Anglius unleashed a thunderous roar as he advanced, his massive halberd swinging with lethal efficiency. Each sweep of his weapon felled hundreds of drones, their bodies piling up around him.

Beside him, the nineteen Bloodline Soldiers fought with equal ferocity. Explosions erupted all around them, the combined force of their abilities creating a deadly zone that the Leviathans struggled to penetrate.

The soldiers of the Golden Wave Legion and the Shadowstrike Legion were also doing their part. Mages chanted incantations, releasing waves of elental magic that decimated enemy ranks. Warriors wielded swords and spears that glowed with imbued Force skills, slicing through the drones with ease. Arrows imbued with energy streaked through the sky, finding their marks.

Their coordinated attacks were a crucial factor in reducing the pressure from the overwhelming numbers of the enemy. However, they were careful not to overextend themselves.

Every ti they advanced a few hundred ters, they pulled back thodically, not allowing themselves to get carried away by the montum. They knew that pushing too far could lead to being sward and overwheld.

The battlefield was a maelstrom of chaos and destruction, but within it, the human forces moved with calculated precision. The sound of clashing weapons, exploding spells, and the shrieks of dying drones filled the air.

The only force that had yet to make her move was Freya and the Lords of Horror. The Viking princess stood atop a ridge, her piercing eyes scanning the battlefield. Beside her were thirty-three imposing figures clad in pristine white armor. Their gaze was like that of hawks searching for prey, and finally, they found it.

Freya’s eyes grew sharp and narrowed as she focused on a portion of the dark swarm that was silently advancing toward the front lines.

"Ready yourselves," she commanded softly.

She adopted a crouching position, the muscles in her legs tightening like coiled springs. In the next instant, she exploded forward like a cot, the ground beneath her feet cracking under the force.

The Viking princess crashed into the swarm with teoric power. The impact was catastrophic; drones were blasted in all directions. A crater ford where she landed, fissures spreading outward.

Amidst the chaos, one entity managed to stand firm beneath the shockwaves. It had a slender body, its limbs elongated, and arms resembling whips of glowing plasma. The creature was unlike any Leviathan previously encountered on this battlefield—a Special Unit Leviathan. It was an opponent that had once pushed Vlad, Jormungandr, and Freya to their absolute limits.

Overlord had calculated the chances of the hive mind deploying such a creature into the war upon witnessing the massive losses. This was why he had kept Freya in reserve, and it seed his decision was the right one.

The Viking princess and the Special Unit Leviathan locked eyes for a fleeting second, each assessing the other.

Without wasting any ti, both attacked with all their strength. The Special Unit Leviathan’s arm whipped forward, the plasma whip crackling with lethal energy as it lashed toward Freya. She raised her shield just in ti, the impact sending a jolt through her entire body. Her arm trembled under the sheer power, but she gritted her teeth and pushed forward.

With a fierce battle cry, Freya swung her mace, which glowed with a vibrant energy. She aid for the creature’s torso, the weight of the weapon adding montum to her strike. The Special Unit Leviathan’s eyes flashed coldly. It morphed its right whip into a muscular arm, the plasma solidifying into dense matter. It t her attack head-on, blocking the mace with its transford limb.

A massive shockwave erupted from the collision, the ground beneath them cracking and cratering from the force. Dust and debris were thrown into the air, obscuring them from view for a mont. Yet, both stood firm, neither giving an inch.

They were locked in a fierce exchange, their battle strength evenly matched. Unfortunately for Freya, she was deep within enemy lines, and the next second, several Leviathan warriors lunged toward her, ready to assist the Special Unit in taking her down.

But the Viking princess was not alone. Before the insect-humanoid hybrids could reach her, thirty-three white figures descended from the sky.

"Fuego de Horror!" the Lords of Horror shouted in unison.

They raised their palms, generating a ring of scorching heat and fire that blasted away all the drones around them. The intense flas incinerated the approaching Leviathans, creating a temporary barrier.

Ned and the other white juggernauts forged a protective ring around Freya and the Special Unit, their massive swords ready. They glared at the remaining Leviathan warriors, ready to take them head-on.

Freya smiled confidently as she glanced at the Special Unit Leviathan. Her killing intent was palpable, a fiery determination burning in her eyes. She knew that the loss of this entity would be a heavy blow to the hive mind. Conversely, her enemy understood that eliminating the Viking princess would imnsely weaken the human forces.

Their locked stance lasted less than a second before they both took a step back and imdiately dashed toward each other, attacking with everything they had.

The ensuing exchange was nothing short of spectacular. Freya moved with incredible speed, her shield deflecting incoming attacks while her mace sought openings. She swung low, aiming for the Leviathan’s legs, then quickly shifted to strike at its head.

The Special Unit Leviathan responded by morphing its appendages with fluid skill. It lashed out with plasma whips that sizzled through the air, forcing Freya to dodge and block rapidly. When she closed in, it transford its limbs into bulging arms, eting her strikes with raw power.
