As Ah Feng spoke, he got up from the stool and walked toward the man. He looked at him with a questioning gaze. “Since you have spoken, you should finish what you have to say in one go.”
Jian Qi smiled obsequiously. “Master, look. I told you that he could speak.”
As she said so, she quickly took the stool and placed it beside Ah Feng. She smiled and said, “Master, sit down and ask. Don’t tire yourself out.”
The man glanced at Jian Qi and scoffed. Then, he looked at Ah Feng mockingly. “I didn’t know you had such a subordinate. Aren’t you afraid of embarrassing yourself by bringing him out?”
Jian Qi was speechless.
