Kelly’s POV
I was lying on the bed while Klay was beside , hugging and caressing my waist. Under the thick blanket, I was only wearing my panties and Klay’s shirt. We’ve been awake for 5 minutes now but I still want to stay on the bed and cuddle with him. Besides, I’m sure dad is still asleep since it’s too early.
“What are you thinking?” Klay asked as his hand on my waist gently traveled to my stomach, caressing there.
“Were you always this busy?” I couldn’t help but ask.
“I need to take care of your father’s company, Kelly.”
Speaking of, I rember what Amanda said. I lifted my face and looked at him. My chin rested on his chest as I t his eyes.
“Amanda ntioned that dad has debts. Do you know about that?”
Klay’s eyes imdiately sharpened. He looked irritated as he stared back at . “Don’t listen to her.”
“But, I want to know. Is she telling the truth, Klay?”
He sighed and brushed his fingers against the soft strands of my hair. “That’s why I’m busy. I’m doing everything to save your father’s company.”
I was shocked and sad at the sa ti. I couldn’t utter even a single word as I stared at Klay’s face. He sighed again and planted a soft kiss on my forehead.
“This is why I couldn’t tell you. I know you’d be worried.”
“Can I do sothing to help? I worked in a company before. Maybe I can help.”
He shook his head and caressed my cheek this ti. “I can handle this. Just focus on yourself and your father. Don’t worry about anything.”
I smiled and nodded at him. “What would I do without you?”
He smiled and pecked on my lips. I squeezed my eyes closed when his kiss lasted for a few minutes. I moaned against his lips when his palm reached my buttcheek and caressed it gently.
“What are your plans for today?”
“Hmm... I want him to breathe so fresh air.”
“You can bring him to the garden.”
“That’s what I’m thinking,” I answered and smiled again.
He stared into my eyes as he continued caressing my body under the thick blanket.
“I need to go to the company again. You should stay at ho. If you need or want sothing, just tell the maid or call .”
“I can just go out and buy if I need sothing, Klay. I don’t need to disturb you.”
“Babe, you’re not gonna disturb ,” he answered and smiled. “You are my responsibility and I always want you safe because I love you.”
I smiled and nodded. “Fine.”
He chuckled and kissed the tip of my nose. “I love your smile.”
“You’re making smile again.”
He chuckled again and without saying anything, he carried and made sit on his stomach.
“Klay!” I groaned as my eyes widened when I felt his morning wood against my clothed core. He’s still fully naked so I can really feel him against the thin fabric covering my sensitive spot.
“That’s normal, babe. What’s not normal is , getting so crazy over you. I think you enchanted .”
I chuckled and rested my cheek against his chest. “Silly!”
“Marry .” A series of silence reigned us after he suddenly blurted that out.
I looked at him in shock. He was just looking at my face with so many emotions in his eyes. I can see love and sothing else I couldn’t recognize.
“Klay...”
I was even more shocked when he lifted my hand and slowly slipped a ring on my ring finger. It was a beautiful diamond ring. An elegant promise ring.
“Marry , Kelly. I promise I will love you until my very last breath. I promise I will always put you on top of my priorities. I promise I will never leave your side.”
Tears pooled in the corner of my eyes as I stared at his emotional face. I can feel desperation in his voice. I feel like he’s afraid I might leave him but I won’t. I will never leave him because he made feel loved, special and he treasures .
I pressed my lips together and nodded. “Of course, I will.”
He smiled so handsoly and kissed the ring on my finger before he pulled my face closer to him and gave a soft kiss on the lips.
“You will never be alone again. I will be wherever you are,” he whispered between our soft kisses.
I smiled against his lips and moaned after I felt him push my panties to the side and without a warning, he slowly pushed his length inside , filling to the brim.

I walked towards the refrigerator to get so fresh milk when Amanda chuckled and mockingly examined .

Irritation imdiately filled . “What’s your problem?”
She rose from her seat and stood in front of , intimidating but unfortunately, she couldn’t intimidate .
“You’re shaless. How could you fck your own step brother?”
What is it to her? Klay and I are not blood related anyway. There’s nothing wrong with our relationship. I gritted my teeth as my eyes sharpened. “Why don’t you just mind your own business, Amanda?”
“I am minding my business. Apparently this family is my business because you and Klay are my step children. Don’t you think your ridiculous relationship with your step brother might cause scandal? What would people think of this family?”
I laughed sarcastically. I can’t believe this woman. “I haven’t accepted you in this family.”
“You bitch!” She angrily lifted her arm and was about to slap when soone stopped her.
Klay, standing beside , was holding Amanda’s wrist, stopping her attempt to hurt .
Klay clenched his jaws and he looked at her dangerously. “Don’t you dare lay even a single finger on her or you’ll regret it.”
Amanda scoffed and angrily pulled her arm back. She glared at Klay before she turned to with evil eyes. She leaned closer to and whispered... “Watch your back. You might be stepping into the devil’s lair and you have no idea about its danger.”
