Emily’s POV
I was standing in front of the bed while thinking of what happened today. I can’t believe Mason’s here. Yes! He can easily find because of the nature of my job, but I didn’t expect him to co here when his brother didn’t even visit once.
It’s not like I want him to visit after I dumped him but...
“Argh!” I groaned and grabbed my hair. I can’t believe I’m having such problems.
Soone knocked on the door, making jump in shock. I caressed my forehead and opened the door. I saw my manager looking at with a creased forehead.
“You’re still awake?”
I rolled my eyes at him. “You knocked. I opened the door. Obviously, I’m still awake.”
He glared at . “You need to rest, Emily. You still have a photoshoot tomorrow. I want your face to look natural in the cara. I don’t want thick makeup and concealer!”
I smirked at him. “Yes, boss.”
“Tell the truth.” He crossed his arms. “Do you personally know that newbie model? Mason is it?”

“Then why are you still awake? Usually you’d be fast asleep at this hour. It’s already 10 PM, Emily. Tell what’s bothering you.”

“Fine!” I groaned. “I want a vacation.”
“Vacation? In the middle of your new project? You have an upcoming fanet. And you just got back from a two -week vacation.”
I bit my bottom lip. “Just don’t mind .”
He stared at worriedly. “Are you okay? Does your head hurt? Did you rember sothing?”
I told him everything about . I told him that I have no mories of my present, that my life was stuck in my painful past and he assured that he’ll help have a new life. I was hesitant at first but he beca my friend and he managed to gain my trust.

I understand him. I heard that the model he’s handling before . She took her own life because of criticisms and ntal problems. She couldn’t take it so she chose to run away. I won’t do that. I know. Even after what I’ve been through, there’s a strong will to live inside . And there’s sothing—or soone, keeping feeling alive.
After my short conversation with my manager, I managed to sleep properly. The next morning, I was woken up by my personal assistant. My manager was already outside talking to the director about the concept of the photoshoot today.
I was having breakfast with my personal assistant when I saw Mason walking around half naked. He’s wearing sunglasses and when he seed to spot , he smirked and lowered his sunglasses. I took my breath when I realized he’s really found .

I landed my gaze at Mason and I hissed when his earring reflected the light. “It’s too early to get annoyed by you, Mason.”
He chuckled and bit on my sandwich. My eyes widened when he drank my juice too. How shaless!

I frowned while staring at him walking away. I heard my personal assistant choking on her juice but I ignored her. I just groaned and put the sandwich on the plate before I crossed my arms. That jerk!
“Emily.” I looked at my manager who sat on the chair beside . He paused after he saw my face. “You look angry early in the morning.”
“It’s because of—”
“The sun’s too hot early in the morning,” I cut my assistant off. She pressed her lips together and looked away when I glared at her.
My manager shook his head. “Okay. So, here’s the concept.”
He started explaining the concept to and I looked at him with widened eyes because of that. “WHAT?”
He looked at with a creased forehead. “You’ve done several daring photoshoots with Jason, almost explicit than this and you’re always professional, Emily. Is there sothing wrong with the concept?”
I imdiately shook my head and pressed my lips together. There’s nothing I can do anymore. And besides, this is the last photoshoot, so...it should be fine.
I prepared myself. I wasn’t focused while the makeup artists were putting makeup on my face. And when it’s ti for the shooting, I went to the sea until the waves reached half of my thigh. I was silently waiting for Mason while my stylist was fixing my wet hair when I saw him walking towards us.

I swallowed hard. He’s wearing sunglasses. A shirt that’s unbuttoned, revealing his ripped muscles. He looks normal but...where the fck is his earring and his...smirk?
I gasped when he walked straight towards . He didn’t smirk. He was just staring at my face. The staff got his sunglasses and my eyes widened in fraction as my heart raced even more hard when I got to see his eyes.
