While Angela continued her explanation, Andy pulled out his cell phone to text Sawyer.

"I’m in a eting with Angela. Her business proposal is quite simple, just as you ntioned. Should I accept it?"

Not long after, Sawyer replied, "If you think it’s profitable, go ahead! But if not, don’t."

"Got it, boss!" Andy replied to Sawyer’s text ssage. He turned his gaze back to Angela.

"Mr. Andy, I hope you can approve this collaboration. I want to inform you that we also have a new brand ambassador, Miss Serena Philips," Angela stated proudly, which shocked Andy Bennet.

Andy didn’t comnt about the product Brand Ambassador. Instead, he said, "Miss Angela, I like your proposal. Unfortunately, I won’t be handling this project."

Angela was speechless to hear that her proposed collaboration had been rejected outright.

When Andy saw the flash of disappointnt in her eyes, he continued, "I won’t be handling this personally, but my E-comrce and Retail Division will. You rember that they already rejected your proposal, right?"

"Y-Yes..." Angela nodded.

"I need to speak with them first. But don’t worry, Miss Angela, you have my word that my company will accept this business cooperation. I will ensure the person in charge of this project contacts you soon."

Angela’s worry and disappointnt instantly faded, and a smile slowly spread across her beautiful face.

"My secretary will discuss a few details with you, Miss Angela," Andy added, glancing briefly at Alia.

"Thank you, Mr. Andy. Thank you very much," Angela said, smiling happily.

Andy nodded slightly while glancing at his watch.

"Miss Angela, I’m sorry, but I must leave now. Enjoy your dinner. There’s no need to settle the bill; this restaurant is part of my company, and my secretary will take care of it." He stood up and briefly nodded to Angela and Serena before leaving.

Just as he was about to exit, Serena stood up and stopped him right after he left the VIP room.

"Yes, Ms. Philips. Is there anything I can help you with?" Andy Bennet looked at the beautiful Serena, confused.

He knew exactly who she was—Sawyer’s first love. However, she had been too ambitious and willing to break up with Sawyer to focus on her career, especially knowing that Sawyer didn’t have a promising future back then.

Surprisingly, he had heard from Ethan that Serena had returned to the country and was trying to pursue Sawyer again. Unfortunately for her, she was too late; Sawyer was already married to Abigail.

’Abigail...’ The thought of Abigail caused a twinge of pain in his heart. Andy lightly shook his head to push any thoughts of Abigail out of his mind.

"Mr. Andy, excuse , but could you give your personal phone number?" Serena asked awkwardly.

Andy Bennet was taken aback hearing Serena Philips’ request for his cell phone number.

’Why does she want my number? Is she trying to pursue after failing with Sawyer? Does she know that Sawyer is my best friend and the owner of the Silverstone Group?’ Andy pondered, puzzled.

"Miss Serena, I’m sorry, but my phone number is for close family only. If you want to contact , you can go through Alia. She will definitely tell everything. It’s part of her duty."

Andy offered an apologetic smile before nodding slightly and leaving without waiting for her to respond.

Serena was utterly shocked. Her face flushed with embarrassnt. This was the second ti a man had turned her down in her life.

Clenching her hands tightly, she watched Andy Bennet fade from her view. After calming down, she stood where she was before returning to the VIP room. She smiled at Angela and Alia and rejoined them.

"What happened, Serena?" Angela asked, her eyebrows raised slightly in concern as she looked at Serena’s sowhat red eyes.

"Is everything alright, Miss Serena?" Alia inquired, equally worried.

Serena smiled at both of them before sitting back down. "I’m fine. I had a few words for Mr. Bennet. Let’s continue eating, ladies."

She suppressed her sadness and disappointnt while trying to convince herself that this wasn’t the end. She still had a chance. At the very least, she needed to beco friends with Alia, Andy Bennet’s secretary.

As if she sensed what Serena was thinking, Angela smiled slightly when sothing crossed her mind. After swallowing her sushi, she turned to Alia.

"Can I ask you sothing, Alia?" Angela asked casually, but her question drew Serena’s attention.

"Of course, Miss Angela," Alia replied, curious about Angela’s question.

"Well, this isn’t about work. It’s about your boss. Is Andy Bennet married?"

Angela’s question surprised both Alia and Serena. Serena’s heart imdiately tensed; she wanted to know Andy Bennet’s relationship status. Although there had been much news about him, the dia had not disclosed his personal life.

"Married?" Alia chuckled before continuing. "Of course not. My boss isn’t married. Why do you ask, Miss Angela?"

"I’m just trying to help soone. I an, millions of won out there adore your boss." Angela nearly shared her thoughts fully but stopped herself when she noticed Serena’s face slightly blush and her gaze lower, as if she were pretending to eat to hide her happy smile.

"Well, I’m just curious. If he’s not married, does he have a girlfriend?" Angela asked again, shocking Serena once more.

"Well. I’m really sorry, but I can’t answer that. That’s my boss’s private life." Alia couldn’t ntion that her boss had a crush on Abigail Lewis, their big boss’s wife. Even now, she still couldn’t believe Abigail was in a relationship with Sawyer Jones.

"It’s fine, Alia. I’m just curious, like millions of other won out there who want to know about Andy Bennet’s love life," Angela chuckled.

"Hahaha, indeed... My boss certainly has many admirers," Alia responded with a light laugh, thinking of the comnts on social dia every ti an article about her boss was published.

Alia turned her gaze to Serena. She was also curious about this public figure’s love life. "How about you, Miss Serena? Do you have a boyfriend?"

Alia’s sudden question nearly made Serena choke. She coughed terribly, and her face turned bright red.

"I’m so sorry, Miss Serena. I don’t an to upset you with that question. Please have a drink..." Alia quickly stood up and handed her a glass.

After Serena felt better, she replied, "It’s fine. Well, I’m single—"
