Chapter 10
Zuo Hancheng ignored her defiance upon hearing that this girl was trying to change the topic on purpose. He rely coldly set his sight on her ridiculous appearance and had a whiff of the heavy scent of alcohol on her body.
“I only left for three hours, and you went out for so shots?”
Before this, Anhao was already drunk to the point of being almost unconscious. Now, her head was even dizzier because she risked her own life to deliver these bottles of cognac.
She then waved her hand in front of her face, and said with a steady tone while shaking her head, “No, I didn’t! I swear to God!”
“Are you overestimating your IQ, or do you think that I have a weak sense of sll?”
Just as Zuo Hancheng was about to get rid of her extrely unsightly wig, Anhao hurriedly stepped back and scread before he reached her, “Ahh! Don’t touch !”
She even lashed out at him due to the side effects of the alcohol she had drunk, “ taking shots is none of your business! Just because you helped during the day doesn’t an you have the right to control my life! Plus, I’m just delivering alcohol right now, it’s not like I’m… ”
Anhao was so intoxicated and confused that she forgot the bottles of alcohol she had put down beside her. Stepping back while screaming, she tripped over the bottles in an instant.
Therefore, she let out a gasp while stretching out her hands to grab at sothing. Just then, she let out a sigh of relief the mont Zuo Hancheng reached out to help her up. As he did so, he grabbed her wrist and dragged her to the bathroom without rcy.
Anhao’s consciousness was a bit ssed up, and her head was hurting like hell. As she stumbled along while being dragged to the bathroom, she was still clueless as to where she was being taken.
When she wanted to turn around and ask, she scread when cold water was suddenly showered over her head.
“Ahh, ahh, ahh! Zuo Hancheng, what the hell are you doing?! Aaaaaahhhhh…”
Then, he ripped off her wig while she was screaming in agony.
The icy-cold water from the shower head washed away whatever she had all over her body in a ruthless manner. Anhao howled as the shower was causing her to have a ntal breakdown, “Pfff… Let go of ! Ahh… Cold, so cold!”
“Aaaaaahhhhhhh, you bastard—”
Finally, Anhao used up all her energy and weakly squatted down in the bathtub.
With the cold shower having stopped at last, all her makeup was washed away and strands of her ssy hair were stuck on her cheeks. She was completely awakened by the cold shower.
Her aggrieved red eyes looked at the gentleman, that made her blush and feel bashful during the day, who suddenly turned into an imbecile that treated her in such a cruel way.
“Feeling awake now?”
Anhao looked up at him upon hearing the man’s cold and distant voice, and asked in a rather frightened and choked up voice, “Why did you do that?”
“If you are, then take off all your ssy clothes and wash away all your makeup before coming out.”
Before walking out of the bathroom without turning back, Zuo Hancheng grabbed a towel on the side and threw it on her head.
Now, Anhao was indeed sober, but her head was still hurting like hell. This man was literally a monster by forcing her to sober up!
Gu Anhao would really be out of her mind if she were to listen to him. But now, her entire body was soaked through, and the makeup on her face was ruined. There was no way she would let people see her like this so she had no choice but to clean herself up.
In the end, she took a shower in the bathroom while swallowing her anger, wiping the water off her body before putting on a bathrobe and going out.
Suddenly, she sneezed twice the mont she got out of the bathroom. Her eyes then fell upon him and she grumbled while rubbing her nose, “You better hope I don’t catch a cold today, or I swear I’ll kill you!”
“Gu Anhao, you better have a good reason for this.” Zuo Hancheng then threw the five bottles of alcohol into the rubbish bin.
Upon hearing such a sound, Anhao suddenly felt that her poor heart had almost broken into pieces as she hurriedly rushed toward it. “F*ck! How could you throw such expensive stuff away! Now, how the hell am I going to explain…”
Without finishing her sentence, Anhao’s face felt stiff all a sudden after Zuo Hancheng turned to look at her. The main problem right now was that she had been abused by this man!
With both their eyes being caught in a deadlock, Anhao clenched her fists in secret, she could not even beat him in this silent cold war of theirs!
After a short silence, she heard Zuo Hancheng’s voice coming from in front of her.
“Explain.”
“…”
“Why did you go to the bar again?”
Anhao glared at him. “Look, I requested for your help to get rid of the problem at the police station today so I won’t ntion the fact that you abused just now; just treat it as having returned you the favor.”
She then turned around and proceeded to get the five bottles out of the rubbish bin. She resud saying while heading toward it, “However, you don’t have to do anything for ! So that’s all for today, alright? I’m gonna go ho and sleep once I deliver these bottles!”
However, Zuo Hancheng kicked the rubbish bin beside him before she managed to get close to it. And her expression dramatically changed the mont she heard the sound of the bottles being shattered. “Hey! Don’t you know how freaking expensive these bottles of alcohol are?! A bottle is worth more than ten thousand!”
“I can also pay a hundred thousand for it, so stop trying to change the topic! Gu Anhao, you’re a student, but just look at what exactly you’ve beco now!”
“None of your f*cking business!” Anhao looked like she had literally blown up. “After all these years, no one has ever cared about what I do! So why should you?!”
“Why should I?” Zuo Hancheng walked toward her.
The man’s aura was way too crisp and overbearing. Just as he was approaching her, Anhao instinctively wanted to evade his grasp before turning around, wanting to run.
Zuo Hancheng then stopped her from attempting to make a scene and leave the room. “You’re only nineteen, and you have already given up on yourself?! If the Gu family doesn’t care about you, then I will! From now on, you must dispose of all those crap!”
Knowing that he was referring to both the outfit and wig she left in the bathroom, Anhao scread in anger, “Release , Zuo Hancheng! You have no right to control !”
“Fine.”
Just as Anhao was about to turn around and run away after he let go of her, Zuo Hancheng said, “Your father doesn’t know that we’re married. So, I’m gonna have so discussions with him upon sending you back to Gu Residence in the morning.”
The mont she regained her freedom, she suddenly stopped in her tracks for a long ti. Then, she slowly turned around and looked at him. “You…”
“Return to the Gu Residence, or be a good girl. The choice is yours.”
No longer looking at that pissed off face she had on, he took the business magazine on the coffee table and started reading it in an unperturbed and elegant manner.
Admitting defeat, Anhao spitefully stared at him without a word while standing on the very sa spot without taking another step.
‘If I had known that this man would treat this badly, I would have rather died being beaten up than to have the cops call him!
‘This is obviously dostic violence!’
