Chapter 92: Chapter 42: Assault, Part 2
Following behind was the Centaur Warrior, unwilling to be outdone, with weapons soaked in blood. The long shotgun had been wrapped with cloth pieces to prevent slipping, and its precise stabs swept out a limited space among the Shahua Fishman Warriors.
Adventurers trapped by Fishman Warriors in buildings joined the team, while the Dwarf Warrior Clagon swung his heavy hamr.
His broad and square muscles erupted in trendous power, throwing away the approaching Fishn, as the hamr hit the sturdy Shahua Fishman Warriors’ bodies, producing the sound of bones cracking.
"Co on, you trashy Fishn, dare you steal Clagon’s drink money, I’ll hamr each of you to death."
Mage Razi and his adventurer team were also within the lineup. His left hand held a glowing magical staff, dispelling the fog that troubled the team, illuminating obscured views.
From his right, he took out spell scrolls from his embrace, scattering healing power from them to those warriors fighting at the front lines.
There were also so enhancing spell scrolls; Bear’s Strength granted warriors power stronger than beasts, while defensive spell scrolls protected those at the forefront.
These were Mage Razi’s ans of survival, as his magic manipulation was more delicate compared to ordinary mages, and his hands were steadier, thus his collection of spell scrolls exceeded others.
Other trapped adventurers also joined the growing team; no one could endure their wealth being looted without cause, especially these town residents who brave life-risking adventures seeking fortune.
Noblen and their private soldiers from business groups joined the combat, as they would only plunder others’ wealth and couldn’t endure being plundered themselves.
They, led by Dragon’s Beloveds, fought against the invading monsters, the battle cries deafening. Every warrior bloodily fought, wielding weapons.
Assassins lurked within the crowd, each appearance harvesting a monster’s life, while Priests scattered healing and blessings’ radiance.
Mages remained grouped at the rear, providing magic support and strike power.
But the monsters were overwhelming, seemingly endless in the fog, as Shahua Fishn fell continuously; Human warriors and Dragon’s Beloved inadvertently got struck by incoming monsters, dragged into the mist.
They could only resist while retreating.
A spell was cast from Shahua Fishman Priestess wielding a Coral Staff, emitting bloody water light — a blood frenzy.
This spell heightened Shahua Fishman Warriors’ desire for blood, strengthening them and dulling pain sensitivity.
Another Shahua Fishman Priestess cast spell light, guided by weak Divine Power from the Shark God, dispersing magic elents like specks upon Shahua Fishman Warriors.
This was a group blessing spell, enhancing their fighting spirit and defense.
Another Shahua Fishman Priestess aid at the foremost attacking Shahua Fishman Warriors, harnessing power in the Coral Staff, surrounded by healing magic power — this was Group Healing Truth.
Then surged magic power ford energy tridents, directed by the Priestess’s staff, realized in mid-air, raining down upon monsters and humans battling Shahua Fishman Warriors.
Occasionally falling tracer bullet skill spell illuminated human and Dragon’s Beloved eyes; sporadic Human Stasis Skill could control unsuspecting human warriors.
Yet the Fishman Baron leading the Shahua Fishn lurked at the rear, commanding relentless assaults.
These Shahua Fishman Warriors clung tightly to the retreating resistance, as if tireless and fearless of death.
Roar,
Suddenly, a Dragon’s angry roar echoed as White Dragon Gomot descended from the sky, landing upon earth.
"Oh, the Dragon has arrived, our support is here,"
The battling crowd cheered, their spirits spurred, montarily suppressing Shahua Fishn’s offense.
The White Dragon’s huge body landed, instantly crushing several Shahua Fishman Warriors upon impact. The Dragon Power he emitted montarily stunned the fierce Shahua Fishn.
White Dragon Gomot opened his mouth full of jagged fangs and bit a Shahua Fishman into halves, then angrily roared,
"You damn monsters, daring to assault the Dragon’s territory, aren’t you afraid of the Dragon’s wrath destroying you."
"Dragon?"
A green light appeared in the thick fog, as the Shahua Fishman Baron stepped forth to behold the descended White Dragon.
"rely a White Dragon, just a young one," the Baron remarked disdainfully, his formidable power undeterred by the young dragon, wielding sharp enchanted weapons with limbs.
"Continue the attack, capture this White Dragon; I also want a pet like the Frost Giants do."
