Chapter 106: Chapter 54: The Beginning of Conquest (Part 2)
Chiron received the order and left, taking his Centaur Warriors and the Dogman and Goblin who were covering the Gray Wolf’s mouth, quietly following the Jackal-Wolf Man pack that was already heading into the distance.
To avoid being discovered by the keen sense of sll of the Jackal-Wolf n, the Centaur Cavalry tracked against the wind, trailing far behind the Jackal-Wolf Man pack.
Along the way, they saw the Jackal-Wolf n chasing prey but did not take action until they were far from the hilly area. It was then that the leading Chiron instructed his warriors,
"You Gray Wolf Cavalry spread out to block those Jackal-Wolf n who might escape, the rest of the Centaurs co with
to kill these Jackal-Wolf n, but leave so alive to send out a call for reinforcents, so as not to disrupt my plan to catch them all in one sweep."
"Yes," answered the Centaur Knights and Gray Wolf Knights in unison, and a heavy killing intent imdiately rose on the tranquil moonlit grassland.
"Attack," Centaur Chiron waved the Black Iron Long Spear in his hand, pointing at the Jackal-Wolf n enraptured in slaughtering their prey, his four hooves gradually speeding up.
The Dogn and Green-skinned Goblins riding the Gray Wolves also waved their short spears, screeching as they spread out to block the retreat of the Jackal-Wolf n.
Rumble,
Two hundred formidable Centaur Knights spread out in an attack formation, their four hooves trampling the grassland, uprooting turf, and charging forward like a torrent of a mountain flood, unstoppable.
This commotion stirred countless ripples on the tranquil grassland, disturbing nurous creatures hidden in the grass and low bushes, fleeing from their hiding places.
The Jackal-Wolf n also noticed the Centaur Warriors charging madly at them, but they thought their numbers gave them an advantage and were unafraid.
Jackal-Wolf n are inclined to attack when they have a nurical advantage, using a sea of people strategy and their strong power to overwhelm opponents.
So these Jackal-Wolf n instead felt that tonight’s prey was secured, their brutal and bloodthirsty nature lighting up their beastly eyes, and under the lead of the Jackal-Wolf Man Barbarian Captain, they charged at the Centaur Knights.
"Kill these Centaurs, feast tonight, and suck their blood and bone marrow," the Jackal-Wolf Man Barbarian Leader waved his heavy Double-Headed Flail, driving his Jackal-Wolf n to attack.
The Giants and Bear Goblins in the ranks also brandished their Big Sticks, howling and charging up. These creatures are allies of the Jackal-Wolf n when numbers are equal, but beco their slaves and reserve food when outnumbered. Driven by the Jackal-Wolf n, these creatures also unleashed their ferocity.
Boom,
The two sides collided, the strong Centaur Chiron’s entire body surged with a faint radiance, his muscles swelled, and the fine Dragon Scales covering him expanded along with the bursting muscles, resembling a scale explosion.
"I’ll kill you," the tall Jackal-Wolf Man Barbarian wielded a Bone Staff crafted from the thigh bone of an unknown creature and lunged forward.
With trendous power, this Jackal-Wolf Man easily leaped to the height of the Centaur, the Bone Staff whistling through the air to crush the Centaur’s skull.
Chiron was fearless, his robust arm flowing with radiance enveloping the thick Iron Spear, and the unstoppable sharpness directly pierced through the pouncing Jackal-Wolf Man Barbarian.
The radiance on the Long Spear surged instantly, exploding the Jackal-Wolf Man hanging on the Long Spear from the chest to abdon, splitting his body in two, and the weapon that was swinging lost its power support, falling to the ground.
"Kill all of you," the remaining Jackal-Wolf n also lunged at the sides of the Centaur formation, their not much weaker bodies bursting with powerful force, aiming to kill the Centaurs.
On Chiron’s flanks, Kali and Zogo had also inherited the Centaur heritage. Although the ti was short, they were much stronger than before. They gripped the Long Spear tightly, charging with formidable force combined with running montum, making the Long Spear an incredibly terrifying weapon.
Splash, the Long Spear in Kali’s hand swung, knocking down the Giant’s Bone Staff, the Long Spear swept past the Giant’s body and rushed on. The Giant cried out, clutched the slash on his neck with both hands, but was quickly impaled by the Centaur Warrior’s Long Spear behind Kali.
The long Iron Spear in Zogo’s hand was more like a long rod, swinging in his robust arm, smashing the head of a Bear Goblin, from which red and white sauce spilled out.
The Bear Goblin, with its sufficient life force, was not yet dead, gasping on the ground, but was then trampled by the cavalry behind, turning into at paste and blood mud.
These Centaur Knights easily pierced through the Jackal-Wolf n wearing Beast Hides with their Long Spears, skewering them as if they were wild fruits, then sliding the spear tips to shake off the Jackal-Wolf n’s corpses, continuing to charge forward.
In an instant, the clash between Jackal-Wolf n and Centaurs created a bloody battlefield on the green grassland, countless splattered blood and flesh staining the ground below.
Most of it was the blood and flesh of Jackal-Wolf n, only a few unfortunate Centaurs beca the target of several Jackal-Wolf n and were injured. The cavalry’s impact and speed made it difficult for the Jackal-Wolf n to take a bite.
Under the leadership of the mighty Chiron and several other Centaur Warriors, the Centaur Cavalry easily pierced through the Jackal-Wolf Man formation, even those stout Jackal-Wolf Man Barbarians could not resist this cavalry assault.
With just one simple round of charging, nearly half of these Jackal-Wolf n were dead, and the leader of the Jackal-Wolf Man Barbarians, seeing the Centaur Cavalry that pierced straight through their own formation, was imdiately terrified, tail tucked.
"Run quickly, these Centaurs’ weapons are too formidable, we must return to tell the chief."
Imdiately, it howled, ordering the remaining Jackal-Wolf n to scatter and flee, mixing with the escaping Jackal-Wolf n heading towards the hilly nest.
The Jackal-Wolf n running for their lives while shouting loudly at the top of their lungs,
"Howl woo,"
This was a signal for help and warning, the rest of the Jackal-Wolf n also howled, and for a ti the grassland was filled with cacophony akin to the howls of Earth Wolves.
But death was close on their heels, the Centaur Cavalry that broke through the Jackal-Wolf Man formation regrouped and redirected under Chiron’s adjustnt. They weren’t like those human cavalry needing to adjust their horses; they were more united with their mounts, so they regrouped far quicker than human cavalry.
The Centaur Cavalry followed the Jackal-Wolf n, gazing at their prey like the Grim Reaper, waiting until the Jackal-Wolf n were about to approach the hills, the call for backup was enough to be transmitted, before launching their charge again.
And in front of the Jackal-Wolf n, they could no longer care about the Centaur Cavalry behind because facing them were the Dogman Knights and Goblins who excelled at fighting favorable winds.
These two creatures were more vicious and brutal than any race when fighting favorable winds, also enjoying tornting their opponents more.
These Goblins and Dogn rode Gray Wolves twice their size, cunningly maneuvering around, recklessly shooting short bows and spears, filling the limbs of these Jackal-Wolf n with arrow feathers and short spears.
Previously weakling scum in the eyes of Jackal-Wolf n, easily crushed with one hand, beca deadly killers, one by one Jackal-Wolf n falling dead on their way ho.
The blood illuminated this path across the grassland, their eyes wide looking at the bright moon above, the remaining light in their eyes filled with resentnt and humiliation, dying at the hands of these Green-skinned Goblins and Dogn, they could not rest in peace.
