*Axel’s POV*
Rubbing my ribs where my father-in-law had hit , I tried to give him my best agrieved face.
"Hey, old man, why did you hit ?"
Quickly, he threw his arm around my shoulder, bringing closer to him.
"Axel, you are my son-in-law and my sweet Silvara is dearly in love with you, that is why I am telling you to shut your mouth. It is one thing to call old man, I am basically your Father, but Styx is a Peak Saint Realm Master that could even kill should he so choose to. Please, for all that is good in this world, shut the fuck up."
Hearing his words, I was stunned, briefly looking at him like he had a second head.
"What are you talking about? Can’t you tell he isn’t a bad guy at all? If he were, he could’ve killed us all a long ti ago. How about instead of worrying about what I am calling him, you worry about the guy trying to activate that space artifact in his hands secretly."
Hearing my words, both Styx and Byron whipped their heads back in the direction of the father and son pair.
Just as they turned their heads, I used my movent technique to show up behind Dustin and his Father like a silent shadow, clamping my hands on each of their shoulders, scaring the shit out of them.
When I felt the space artifact start, I could tell it wasn’t an instant teleportation kind and was actually the type that could create a space tunnel to another spot.
"Let go of , you piece of shit! You can’t do this to !"
Dustin started yanking himself about to no avail. My grip was as strong as steel, and I began to draw on my cultivation, completely overpowering his false strength.
It just goes to show that having taken the ti to solidify your foundation is sothing that you can’t cheat on with these pills and elixers.
"Just stop, dude, you and your Father are about to face the consequences. There is nothing you can do to escape."

Saying so, he looked around the room frantically before his eyes settled on my darling Eva. I felt my entire being start to crave crushing this guy like a bug...
*Evangeline’s POV*
Watching everything transpire today has, truthfully, been eye-opening. I am glad that I never actually gave in to a man like Dustin. I could only imagine what his Father and he would do to .
Just thinking about it makes my skin crawl. On the other hand, though, Axel has proven once again that he is more than worthy of and has made fall for him all over again.
It was love at first sight for . He just attracted wholeheartedly, completely forcing his way into my mind without even trying. At first, I thought it was possibly mind control, but I would have noticed.
No, this was just pure instinct on my part. I saw him and knew right then and there that he was going to be the only man for . Giving myself to him was the best decision I could have made.
I will admit I was actually quite frightened when Styx showed up. That pressure was unlike anything I had ever seen or felt. And then there he was once again, standing in front of and my sistermates without a second thought. Staring straight into the man’s face without hesitation, he made sure the man knew Dustin had been lying about the whole ordeal.
I wanted to step forward earlier to explain what was really happening, but the girls kept shaking their heads and telling to watch. I am glad I listened to them because I was able to see Axel once again prove how much more superior he is to Dustin, stopping him and his Father from escaping and easily overpowering Dustin, who is supposed to be strong technically due to his Peak Core Formation state.
"Just stop, dude, you and your Father are about to face the consequences. There is nothing you can do to escape."

Saying so, I watched as he was frantically scanning the room until all of a sudden his eyes stopped on .

His pause made my skin prickle with a bad feeling churning in my guts. I watched as an evil smile started to spread across his face. Dragging the mont out, he started to open his mouth to speak and then...
*POP*

Out of nowhere, Dustin’s head exploded off of his body with a pop, scattering grey matter and blood everywhere. Behind the gore, I could see a hand in a clenching position as it had just been holding sothing.
It was Axel’s hand, and when my eyes drifted to his face, I could see that it was completely blank. Seeing my stare at him, he smiled brilliantly before saying," He had it coming. Even in that situation, the idiot thought he could still covet you, my love..."
By the end of his words, Axel looked a bit sheepish, covered in a bit of blood and gore. I saw nothing more handso and cute in the world at that mont.
I broke away from my sistermates, rushed up to him, threw myself into his arms, and planted my lips on his with a fervor. It didn’t take but a mont before I felt him toss sothing away, and he wrapped his large, strong arms around , holding as close as possible to his body.
"Ahem, while I don’t mind that you younglings are so lovey dovey. I would still like to get a clear answer on what actually happened here."
Styx’s words brought Axel and out of our kiss. It was at this ti that we noticed my sistermates had once again surrounded us, with gentle smiles on their faces.
Turning to face Styx, I started recounting the events of the day and my relationship with Dustin.
"Sir Styx, allow to introduce myself. I am Princess Evangeline Libertine. First, I would like to state that I have never in any way, shape, or form been under mind control or been brainwashed."
I glanced up at Axel and saw him give a slight nod to continue.
" Also, today was not actually how it seed. Axel and I solidified our relationship last night and word got back to this sleazy pri minister and his even worse son. Now, mind you, Dustin and his Father have been trying to cent a marriage for quite a while now, but the royal family has always turned him down outright. When he heard of Axel and my relationship developnt, his Father barged in, screaming and yelling, and when he was unable to get his way, he called Dustin in to make a scene. If not for Axel having soulfire and being able to counter everything Dustin threw at him, I don’t know how today would have gone, especially since he was still using you and your na as a deterrent for my Father and Uncle Byron."
By the end of my explanation, I was quite breathless. I could tell by the look on Styx’s face that he was actually quite mad and peturbed.
"This is exactly why I pulled back from society all of those years ago. People using my na and artifacts for evil have truly ruined my image in the eyes of the world..."
He sounded quite lancholic with those words, but before I could feel sorry for him, Axel stepped forward and slapped a hand on the man’s shoulder.
"Hey, no need to be so down, I corrected that mistake. Now, you should enjoy life and make so trustworthy friends. If I may say I think you and my father-in-laws could probably be a good match. Byron is a cool dude and quite down to earth, and everything I have seen about King Mathias has been positive."
The look of shock on Styx’s face was absolutely priceless as he stared at Axel like he had grown another head.
"What the hell are you talking about, boy...???"
My Father and Uncle Byron nodded along with Styx, as if they, too, were trying to piece together what was actually happening right now.
A soft giggle drew my attention as I watched Mia step forward and address the three older n.
"You dummies, Axel is trying to help you guys all beco friends to understand that Styx isn’t a bad guy and for Styx to see that there are actually trustworthy people in the world like you, Uncle Byron, and you, Uncle Mathias."
Her words seed to be the light shining down on the three older n’s minds, as their faces went through multiple changes before finally settling on a stunned one, gaping at my adorable sistermate as if she were so genius.
Axel just shook his head, saying," You three are hopeless. Three of the strongest people I have ever t, and they are dullards..."
