Jun Wu Xiao and Yue Guang had now returned to the Kunlun mountains. He brought her to the cave and said:
"You should be fine now that you’re alone, right?"
Yue Guang nodded, she had no issues being alone. However, because the capital was quite cramped and damaging things there would be troubleso, she had returned to the Kunlun mountains.

He then headed back to the capital. The journey didn’t take long, and there were still many monster cores left in the capital.

"Why are you here?"

"Rember to spread out. It won’t work if everyone stays in one place."
Chu Wu snorted at this:
"Hmph, do you think we’re children who wouldn’t know how to handle such a small matter?"
"Ah, I was just making sure. Just don’t let the monsters get deep inland. I think we only need to guard for about five years, then we can go wherever we want." Jun Wu Xiao said.
"Alright, no problem. Five years isn’t long, and it won’t hinder our cultivation." Sheng Yuan said.
"Good, then I’ll head off. You all can divide the positions among yourselves." Jun Wu Xiao said, then ran off to the storage place for the monster cores.
There was a large warehouse containing several hundred monster cores, and there were also guards outside to keep watch.
When Jun Wu Xiao arrived at the warehouse entrance, the soldiers imdiately stepped aside to let him in. This was not surprising, as the warehouse was connected to him and his friends, so the guards naturally knew who they were.

He pondered for a mont and decided to head straight to the extre north. He wasn’t wandering aimlessly, he wanted to clean up the extre north first, while his friends guarded the west, south, and east.
He believed that after he arrived, there would likely be more cores from monsters coming from the three other continents.
For the next year, he wandered around looking for monster cores. By this ti, he had cleaned up most of the areas.
Although monster cores are small in size, they are not impossible to detect. While ordinary people might not sense them, cultivators could always feel sothing unique about them, a negative uniqueness.
So when that feeling appeared, it ant there was a monster core in the area he was in.
"Now, only the coastal areas to the west, south, and east remain. Let’s move quickly." Jun Wu Xiao said.
He then imdiately dashed towards the western coast. During this ti, he didn’t neglect his cultivation. After all, running at high speed could be considered cultivation as well.
After so ti, Jun Wu Xiao finally reached the western endpoint. He collected monster cores there until the net was full and then prepared to return.
While collecting, he spotted a familiar figure—his younger brother, Chen Wo Lun. Seeing him, Jun Wu Xiao ran over to greet him.
"Brother, everything going well?" he asked.
"Everything is fine. But the recent movents of the monsters have been a bit different. I haven’t seen any monsters for several months now," Chen Wo Lun replied.

Chen Wo Lun nodded. He wasn’t aware of the specifics of the other three continents, so he initially found it strange. But now that he understood, it made sense. Over ti, he had co to understand the distribution of monsters.
Monsters were distributed based on the population and strength of each area. Where there were cultivators, there would be strong monsters accordingly, and places with larger populations would also have more monsters.

He then ran along the coastline towards the south. On his way, he encountered Sheng Yuan and Chu Wu. They chatted briefly before he continued on his way.
He continued his journey for several more months, eventually finding all the monster cores on the continent (at least for the ti being, as he wasn’t sure if new cores would co from the other three continents).
Jun Wu Xiao was now in the Kunlun mountains, looking at the pile of monster cores before him. He thought:
"There are so many. But what can these be used for? These cores are incredibly hard. Even if I tried to break them, they wouldn’t crack. Other than being hard, they don’t seem to have any other use. Well, I’ll just leave them for now. Maybe in the future, I’ll find a way to use them."
He then left the area and began to cultivate. He rarely visited the place where he stored the monster cores. He didn’t guard it, thinking that in such a remote area, no one would co. Unless soone used a hot air balloon, there was no reason for anyone to land there.
But just to be sure, he brought a large stone to block the cave entrance. The cave wasn’t very large, so he could do this easily.
Ti passed, and now it had been nine years since then. Five years ago, Chen Wo Lun and Feng Shuang had co to the Kunlun mountains, while Chu Wu and four others had returned to the capital.
They hadn’t brought any new monster cores, which ant that the monsters had been completely eradicated since Jun Wu Xiao’s journey along the coast.
They split into two groups for a reason—they wanted to stay close to each other so that if sothing similar to the monster invasion happened again, they could quickly et to discuss and take action.
Moreover, the Kunlun mountains were centrally located, making it easy to travel to other places. The capital couldn’t be abandoned either, as it was the heart of the Human Kingdom, so it made sense for so to stay there.
