Chen Wo Lun was about to help the residents clean up the ruins when Jun Wu Xiao said:

"Wait a mont."

Chen Wo Lun’s face showed confusion as he asked:

"Big brother, what’s the matter? Why did you suddenly tell to stop?"

"We should take a bath first. Our current appearance could really scare people to death." Jun Wu Xiao said.

He wasn’t exaggerating. If soone was standing on high ground or carrying sothing heavy and they suddenly appeared, that person might indeed get frightened and fall.

"Ah, alright then. Let’s go." Chen Wo Lun nodded in agreent.

The two of them then ran around looking for a place with water, jumped in, swam a few laps, and ca out. Now, although their clothes were still tattered and ragged, they looked more human.

"Big brother, is this better now?" Chen Wo Lun asked.

He genuinely didn’t know, not pretending. After all, he hadn’t bathed in seventy years, only occasionally went for a swim.

Jun Wu Xiao looked at him for a mont and then at himself. He nodded and said:

"Now we look like normal people, so there shouldn’t be any issues. Let’s go back and help them. Even if our identities are exposed, they won’t catch up to us to bother us."

"Um, you’re right. Now we can run a little and get far away, so there’s no need to worry about anyone chasing us." Chen Wo Lun nodded.

After that, the two of them returned to the capital to help the residents clean up. Their work efficiency was enormous. Even a group of strong n couldn’t carry as much as the two of them.

Their strength wasn’t surprising, after all. A full-force punch from Jun Wu Xiao weighed over fourteen tons. Cleaning up the debris was simple for them.

However, they couldn’t help much because the population here was still over twenty million. They could only replace at most a few hundred or a thousand people working.

This wasn’t similar to combat power. Here, if each person could carry fifty kilograms at a ti, a thousand people would transport fifty tons. But when it ca to fighting, not even a million people could defeat any one of them.

At this mont, a few people approached the houses where the two of them were cleaning. So children were holding flowers and placing them on the ground.

Curious, Jun Wu Xiao asked:

"What are you doing?"

"This is for our parents... our parents... sniff, sniff." the children said, crying.

Feeling that his question was foolish, Jun Wu Xiao changed the subject:

"Stop crying. It’s not safe here, so you should quickly go sowhere else."

After saying that, he ran off to continue working, no longer paying attention to the children. If he started preaching, the kids would probably cry even louder. After all, children don’t understand much. Even if he lectured them about the path, they wouldn’t comprehend enough to gain any enlightennt.

Chen Wo Lun saw Jun Wu Xiao’s awkwardness, then burst out laughing:

"Ha ha, big brother, are you at a loss for words? You don’t know what to say?"

Jun Wu Xiao seeing him laugh, began to justify himself:

"Hmph, what do you know? Even if I lectured them about the path, the life, they would only cry louder. When they grow older and talk about death being a natural part of life, maybe then it will have so effect."

Chen Wu Lun was taken aback for a mont and then said:

"Wait, I understood this when I was six. The mont I accidentally stepped on an ant and it died, I understood that death is a part of nature. There’s nothing to fear about death."

Jun Wu Xiao was stunned for a mont. Then he held his forehead and said:

"Do you think everyone is as crazy as us? Is there any teenager who seeks to understand life and death and then goes to live in the mountains for seventy years?"

"Uh... ha ha, you’re right. Comparing us to others is really inappropriate." Chen Wo Lun said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

It wasn’t surprising that he used himself as a reference point. Previously, Jun Wu Xiao did the sa. They had been in seclusion cultivating for so long that they beca accustod to the feeling of being the only ones existing around them, so they compared everything to themselves first.

The two of them continued to clean up the ruins in the capital. More than a week later, two figures, looking extrely catastrophic, slowly walked into the capital. Although they appeared pitiful, their limbs were intact, and their bodies were not missing any parts.

The two were Zhu Ji Feng and Yan ng Long. As they approached the outskirts of the capital, Yan ng Long said:

"It seems the people have been back for a while. The battlefield has been relatively cleaned up. They are probably preparing to rebuild the capital now."

Zhu Ji Feng nodded:

"It seems so. But what’s that over there?"

He pointed to a cloud of dust ahead. Yan ng Long looked closely and saw two people. She recognized only one of them and said:

"It’s Jun Wu Xiao and soone else clearing the rubble. It seems the man with him is soone Jun Wu Xiao brought back, and I feel he’s stronger than ."

Zhu Ji Feng was slightly surprised to discover another cultivator. However, after thinking it over, he realized that the world was vast, and it was not unusual to find more people. He said:

"I see. Let’s go et them and ask if anyone else has returned."

The two quickly ran to Jun Wu Xiao. Jun Wu Xiao and Chen Wo Lun were pulling debris when they suddenly stopped, sensing powerful creatures approaching.

"Big brother, are these people your friends?" Chen Wo Lun asked.

Jun Wu Xiao imdiately recognized who they were and nodded:

"Yes, they must be coming to see ."

A few seconds later, Zhu Ji Feng said:

"Have you been back long? Have the others returned?"

"It’s been about a week. Besides , you two are the first to return." Jun Wu Xiao said.

The two nodded, acknowledging that the timing of everyone’s return was unpredictable. Although the number of monsters had decreased, other unforeseen issues could have delayed their return.

Suddenly, the two of them looked at Chen Wo Lun, who was a muscular old man covered in scars. However, he still appeared robust rather than frail.

"Who is this?" Yan ng Long asked curiously.

"Allow to introduce myself. I’m Chen Wo Lun, the sworn brother of my big brother here. Nice to et you both." Chen Wo Lun said.

Hearing this, the two of them replied:

"I’m Yan ng Long."

"And I’m Zhu Ji Feng. Nice to et you."

At that mont, they both noticed sothing unusual. Zhu Ji Feng asked with a surprised tone:

"Jun Wu Xiao, it’s not unusual for you to make friends, but this ti you’ve taken a sworn brother. Do you plan on finding more family mbers in the future?"

Jun Wu Xiao snorted at his remark:

"Huh, stop talking nonsense. In over a hundred years, I’ve only known a few people, yet you talk as if I have a large circle of friends. You two should go take a bath. In your current state, you’ll scare people to death if you wander around the capital."

"Eh..." They were both surprised to hear that.

They looked at themselves and then glanced around, noticing the cautious looks from everyone.

"Ah, we’re going to take a bath now." they said and imdiately ran off.

They had already forgotten about this. Over a long ti, the only thing they had bathed in was blood, so they had forgotten about normal bathing.

A while later, the two of them finally returned, the blood washed off, looking much more presentable.

"We’re back." Zhu Ji Feng said.

Jun Wu Xiao nodded and said:

"Now that you’re back, don’t just stand there. Co lend a helping hand."

Yan ng Long suddenly thought of sothing and laughed. She said:

"That’s right, we have to lend a hand. After all, soone here doesn’t have two hands."

Zhu Ji Feng and Chen Wo Lun couldn’t help but laugh at this.

"Ha ha ha ha."

This wasn’t laughing at anyone’s misfortune. Jun Wu Xiao wasn’t distressed about losing a hand. He believed that if he lost his hand, he would find a way to regrow it, or perhaps he would beco so strong that he wouldn’t need to use his limbs to fight.

However, just because he wasn’t bothered didn’t an his face did not beco unsightly. He snorted:

"Hmph, do you want to fight? Are you looking down on because I have one hand? I must teach you a lesson!"

Zhu Ji Feng stepped in front of Yan ng Long, his voice filled with heroic spirit:

"Do you think you can lay a hand on her without going through first?"

It looked impressive, but it didn’t last long as his comrade betrayed him. Yan ng Long shouted:

"Go ahead Zhu Ji Feng, beat him up for ."

Zhu Ji Feng felt a chill run down his spine. He looked at Jun Wu Xiao’s face, which now resembled a demon. Hastily waving his hands, he said:

"When... when I said that, I was joking. Do you believe ?"

At this mont, he looked desperate. He knew that while Jun Wu Xiao wouldn’t seriously injure him, getting hit would still hurt. He had no desire to take a beating.

Jun Wu Xiao said nothing. He just smiled and dashed forward like lightning, landing a punch in Zhu Ji Feng’s stomach that sent him flying into the air. Chen Wo Lun watched this scene and laughed heartily:

"Ha ha, what is he trying to do? This is hilarious! Aren’t you worried he might get seriously injured?"

"Don’t worry, Jun Wu Xiao won’t injure him seriously. Let’s continue helping the residents clean up. He’ll find his way back later." Yan ng Long said.

So the three of them... well, soon to be four, continued cleaning up the battlefield caused by the fight with the monsters.
