After a few more days of rest, they all woke up. The maximum ti they could take to heal was only about this long. However, that was under the condition that their bodies hadn’t lost any parts.

If any part of their bodies had been lost, the recovery ti would be much longer, and even then, it would be difficult for the lost part to fully recover to its original state.

At this mont, they had gathered in one place. Jun Wu Xiao said:

"The fight is over, and I’ve learned that if we are to fight, we shouldn’t go alone but should bring the whole group along."

"Ha ha, exactly but if we are hunting monsters, we must split up because they are scattered all over the world." Yue Guang said.

Everyone nodded. Monsters would not all be in one place. If that were the case, it would an that all humans in other places would have already been wiped out.

"But now, there are quite a few cultivators among humans. If monsters do appear in the future, we should focus on eliminating the strongest ones first. The rest can be dealt with by humanity. Once we’ve taken care of the strongest monsters, we can split up to support them." Chu Wu said.

Everyone found this idea very reasonable. After all, as long as the strongest were eliminated, dividing to deal with the weaker ones wouldn’t be a problem.

"Sounds good, I agree."

" too."

"I agree as well."

.....

"Alright, let’s head back now. Everyone return to where you ca from. Goodbye." Jun Wu Xiao said.

"Alright, goodbye." Chu Wu said as he left.

"Goodbye." the others said.

Those who ca from the capital left with Chu Wu, and the group from the Kunlun mountains also returned to their cultivation site.

Things were about to go back to the way they had been in previous years, each person going into seclusion for cultivation. They hadn’t seen each other for a long ti, but they only t up, fought a battle, slept for a few days, and then parted ways again.

In reality, they were all in quite a hurry at the mont. They were well aware of the severity of the monster problem.

They weren’t foolish enough to think that the monsters from before were their strongest enemies. Those monsters were just the lowest level. If a bunch of low-level monsters could almost wipe them out without the help of explosives, the one behind them must be incredibly powerful.

At this mont, Jun Wu Xiao had returned to his seclusion site, which was located on one of the highest peaks in the range. Even the light snowfall now couldn’t make him catch a cold, and being here made it much harder for anyone to disturb him.

"After fighting with them, I’ve co to understand that if our overall strength doesn’t surpass that of our opponents, losing is inevitable." Jun Wu Xiao said.

He wasn’t wrong. Perhaps in history, there were events where a small army defeated a larger one, but those cases were different from his.

A breakthrough also enhances the human brain. Although the ability for creativity remains unchanged, their speed of thought, information processing, and information reception beco incredibly formidable. They could be seen as computers with human creativity.

This ans that in a fleeting mont, their minds could devise countless strategies and countless predictions of their opponent’s next moves.

The reason Jun Wu Xiao could outwit them a few tis was simply that his brain was slightly stronger than theirs. But it wasn’t enough to defeat ten people.

Ten people had a significant advantage in physical strength, and they could attack multiple positions at once and could encircle and block the retreat. This was sothing Jun Wu Xiao couldn’t do alone.

In fact, it wouldn’t even take ten people, just Yue Guang, Dao San Qian, and Chen Wo Lun could quickly defeat Jun Wu Xiao. They would also be injured, but not to a severe extent.

If it ca down to whose stamina would be exhausted first, only two people would be enough to defeat Jun Wu Xiao. Both sides would likely be severely injured, though.

Jun Wu Xiao pondered over his current realm and said:

"I wonder if in thirty years I can reach a new realm? I’m really looking forward to it."

And so, he continued his seclusion and cultivation for another thirty years.

.....

Ti passed quickly, well, not really quickly. For humans, this span might be enough to be considered half a lifeti.

But for Jun Wu Xiao, it wasn’t fast. He could still feel each day passing by. The sun would rise and then set, and he witnessed this day after day. Boring, aningless, and painful were accurate descriptions of the cultivation process.

However, which true cultivator can’t endure such things? Jun Wu Xiao even felt that it hadn’t reached the point of being too boring yet, as if he had experienced even more tedious tis before.

He was right. This ti, he truly broke through to a new realm. But this realm was very different from the previous three. This ti, he sensed the existence of sothing else. He could feel that there was sothing incredibly special inside his body.

"What is this? Could it be that this is the energy that has helped break through all this ti?" Jun Wu Xiao said in surprise.

Once again, he carefully sensed the existence of this energy within his body. Previously, he didn’t even know that it existed within him.

Suddenly, he realized that what he sensed was present everywhere around him. However, the density within his body seed much more greater compared to this energy in the external environnt.

"What? This energy is everywhere, there isn’t a place where it doesn’t exist. Could it be that after that event, this energy appeared all over the world?" he muttered.

At this mont, he recalled that day. In the brief mont as quick as a blink, the whole world had undergone a change so subtle that no one noticed anything unusual. Only he, due to his long-term cultivation, sensed the difference.

"This energy is colorless and odorless, so what should it be called?" Jun Wu Xiao thought.

He then closed his eyes to perceive the energy around him more clearly, without the distraction of visual images. After a while, an idea ca to him, and he said:

"When I close my eyes, I see only darkness, so let’s call it dark energy. That doesn’t sound too bad."
