Suddenly, Sharky groaned in pain, and began to show signs of waking up.
Both won cried out in alarm. "You’re awake?"
Charlotte’s face turned entirely red. She hoped that he didn’t find out that she was engaged in intertwined cultivation with him, just a mont before.
Furthermore, he had woken up at the worst possible ti. Had he rembered what just happened before.
Sharky chuckled and replied, "Don’t tell you two want to sleep forever?"
Hearing this, both of them sighed with relief that Sharky didn’t know what just happened now.
Sharky then looked towards himself, and found most of his wounds were already healed.
"Hm? Did you both do sothing? Why are my many injuries healed already?" He asked looking at them, he also felt a little sore on his waist, like soone was seated upon it.
"It healed because..." Diana trailed off and subconsciously gave Charlotte a look.
Charlotte quickly cut her off. "We were also shocked by your healing, we were just discussing how to treat your condition. But miraculously your body started healing itself. Right Diana?"
Diana, hearing it, nodded, "Yes, yes, your body was really amazing," She even ca forward and touched his muscles.
Sharky lowered his head and took a look. The blood all over his body had already disappeared, his body had experienced the Primordial Origin Sutra’s tempering several tis.
And knowing that his body healed so much by himself, he has a proud expression.
He knew, combined with his powerful regeneration abilities and the fact that his soul had been fully condensed, even though the Star Shattering Imprint had indeed almost made his body break apart, but due to Immortal Phoenix Technique, he will again healed back to his top position.
But he didn’t know that Charlotte had sacrificed sothing dearly to heal him.
"Hah, he didn’t even know what you had done to heal him," Diana muttered, but before Sharky could hear him.
"Diana, I think we also need to heal ourselves." Charlotte quickly interrupts him.
Sharky replied, puzzled, "What kind of weird riddle are you all playing at?"
The two won tacitly agreed to shut their mouths. Neither one of them wanted to tell him the truth.
Sharky quickly looked around and asked, "Right, where is Alina? She seems to have forcefully activated her dusa’s Eye just now..."
As he spoke, however, he saw Alina. He quickly got up to check her condition. Even though his movents were sluggish, he didn’t look like a dying person. The two won were both stunned.
Diana was the first to react. She sighed and said, "Her condition is even worse than yours. She might not make it."
Sharky noticed that Alina’s eyes were closed, and her complexion was deathly pale. Her aura was incredibly weak, as if it might disappear at any ti. He imdiately felt downcast.
Charlotte felt a bit conflicted and said, "Sorry, we really are powerless. All we could do was to try and see if we could save you."
Sharky didn’t seem to have heard anything. All of his attention was on examining Alina’s condition. Several forced activations of dusa’s Eye against those whose cultivation ranks were far above hers had already pushed her life force to its limit. Even if he were to recover to his strongest, there would be no way for him to treat her externally.
There’s only one way left!
He wasn’t the indecisive type. He quickly made his decision and held Alina, saying, "I’ll save her. Please wait over here for a bit."
That kind of thod would easily cause misunderstandings. He didn’t want these two to think that he was so brute who would take advantage of others’ difficulties.
"Can she still be saved?" Diana and Charlotte exclaid, both stunned. They were experienced and knowledgeable. Both of them had already concluded that she was beyond saving, and they were already confident of her fate. And yet, even in such a state, Sharky thought she could still be saved?
Sharky didn’t pay the two of them any attention. He carried Alina back to the lake. However, he turned and looked at the two of them with a forced smile and asked, "Why are you two following ?"
"We are worried about you," Charlotte said, her face pale. In her eyes, she just saved Sharky herself. How can she leave him alone to die?
Sharky was a bit surprised. The woman’s voice was full of concern. He asked, "Thank you, but I’m going to take Alina down to treat her. I’ll have to ask the two of you to watch the surroundings for ."
He couldn’t explain the situation, so he could only use that as an excuse to appease them. Fortunately, the lake water could hide him and Alina, which would save them a lot of awkwardness.
"Don’t tell this pond has healing properties?" Diana asked skeptically.
Charlotte recalled how she had been pressed up tightly against Sharky underwater. Even her clothes had been completely soaked then.
"I’ll explain everything once it’s over. Saving her is more important right now," Sharky said. He was worried that Alina wouldn’t be able to hold on. He jumped into the water with her in his arms as soon as he finished speaking.
"That damn brat doesn’t look like he’s planning to die," Diana muttered. She gave Charlotte a look, searching for a confirmation.
Charlotte frowned and replied, "You’re right."
"And he didn’t even know that you had sacrificed your purity to save him," Diana said with a smile.
Charlotte was embarrassed. She quickly clutched her mouth, scared that Sharky would hear. "Why are you continuously ntioning this? Can’t you just shut up."
Diana gave a mischievous smile, and took out the mory stone.
Seeing that, Charlotte beca silent, she knew there is not any benefit in arguing with this witch.

anwhile, Sharky carried Alina and slowly entered the water. Using Ice Phoenix’s ability, he created a water bubble so she wouldn’t suffocate.
Sharky began to transfer ki throughout his body to adjust his condition. Even though his wounds were also quite serious, his condition was still passable. As such, he began to use the Primordial Origin Sutra, sending a strand of primordial ki into Alina’s body.
Seemingly sensing the warm stream that entered her body, Alina groaned and gradually began to wake. However, she was so weak that even opening her eyes was a bit strenuous. When she finally realized that it was Sharky, a faint smile appeared between her brows. She asked, "Sharky, you’ve already recovered? I’m not dreaming?"
Normally, her complexion was so beautiful that many n would feel ashad of their own inferiority and wouldn’t even dare to look straight at her. But now, she was extrely weak and sallow, like a porcelain doll that would shatter if handled carelessly.
Sharky felt extrely pained. He held her hand and placed it against his own cheek, replying, "Alina, can you feel my warmth? Why would you be dreaming?"
Alina’s lips curled into a faint smile when she felt those firm lines. She said, "You’re okay... That’s good. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to stay with you."
She was an expert herself. She had known just what kind of consequences forcefully using the dusa’s Eye several tis would produce. However, she felt no regret. If she were given another chance, she would still make the sa choice.
"No, you can," Sharky said with certainty.
Alina just assud he was consoling her. She said weakly, "I can only exchange a few words with you; this is all the ti I have left... I feel a bit cold. Can you hold a bit closer?"
Only then did Sharky realize that Alina hadn’t liked the cold to begin with. Now, she was seriously injured, her life’s fla about to go out. As they were at the very bottom of the lake, it was extrely cold. Naturally, she couldn’t take it. Thus, he quickly transferred his ki.
Waves of warmth entered Alina’s trembling body, and she finally felt a bit of relief. She smiled and said, "I rember how you gave so Warm Darlings when you first t and saw that I was cold. Now, I’ve discovered that you’re the best warm darling."
This was the capital’s number one beauty. Even if she just stood there without doing a thing, even if she didn’t say anything... For many n in this world, they didn’t even have to see her; just hearing her na alone would leave them completely captivated. And yet at that mont, she was lying right in Sharky’s embrace, whispering sweet words to him.
But Sharky didn’t think of any of those things at all. He only felt endless tenderness and worry. Thus, he told her, "We’ll have more than enough ti to talk in the future. Try to preserve as much strength as possible. I have a way to save you."
Alina had a distressed smile as she replied, "There’s no need for you to trick . I know my condition the best."
Sharky said with an honest expression, "Did you forget, how I saved you once again. So, what is there to think about?"
"The thod I cultivate is extrely special. Not only does it have powerful regenerative abilities, it can even treat many injuries that touch upon one’s foundation. Look, even though I forcefully exceeded the limits and used the Star Shattering Imprint just now, aren’t I still slowly recovering?"
Alina was stunned. She recalled that Sharky had seed about to die, and yet now, he was still fine. His condition was clearly much better.
"Okay," Alina smiled and nodded.
Sharky took her firmly into his embrace.
When he saw the loveliness in her playful pout, Sharky couldn’t help but press his lips against hers. Alina moaned, closing her eyes and taking him in. Her long eyelashes cast shadows across her jade-like cheeks, fluttering ever so slightly.
Soon, Sharky raised his head. Saving her was the most important thing at the mont, and yet he was worried that he would wrong her.
Alina seed to have guessed his suspicions. She said gently, "I don’t even have the strength to raise my arm. My clothes... You need to take them off."
She didn’t dare look him in the eyes after she said that. She was clearly already utterly embarrassed. At that mont, her decision to give herself fully to her man really made her too beautiful and alluring.
Sharky continuously warned himself that saving her was the most important thing, and that he couldn’t be distracted at all. As such, he didn’t hesitate any longer and instead gently undid the band around her waist. Alina’s skin was just as smooth and sleek as before; all her clothes ca off without him even having to use much strength.
Ever since Sharky had entered the mine, the surrounding environnt had been completely dark. However, at that mont, there was a dazzling and sparkling expanse of white before his eyes. Even the invaluable luminescent pearls now seed to pale in comparison.
Alina’s breath soon quickened. Her beautiful eyes looked at the manly man before her with endless gentleness. Her red lips parted as she cried, "Sharky, I love you~"
Those simple words were more effective than any dicine.
Under Alina’s love-filled gaze, Sharky completely beca one with her. Soon, with a groan, Alina almost fainted. Her entire body imdiately tensed.
Fortunately, a wave of warmth created from the foundation of the cosmos entered her body, nourishing the ridians and internal organs that had been withered and damaged. This was sothing she had never experienced before! Alina felt even more amazing than when she had broken through to her current cultivation realm. At that mont, she felt as if she were within the great emptiness before the world was created. She sensed opportunities for life erge around her, and the dao changing and evolving.
She relaxed completely and held onto her beloved tightly.
