Charlotte felt unhappy when she saw the blazing passion in his eyes. The Unshaken Daoist Manual she had just taught him wasn’t inferior to the Star Shattering Imprint, and yet this fellow didn’t seem that interested at all. Didn’t that an she was inferior to the other woman?

She gave Diana a cold look and said, "Stop bragging already. You did not even see the emperor’s face when you carried out that attack on the capital, and yet you were beaten up so badly. You still have the nerve to say such things?"

Diana blushed. She was a bit embarrassed for the first ti. She shot back, "That’s different! If he didn’t dodge at all and let attack him, I swear I could blast his brains out!"

"Hah..." Charlotte rely laughed with folded arms, clearly showing disdain.

Diana said in annoyance, "Sharky, don’t listen to that stone cold woman. The emperor is an Earth Immortal. His cultivation realm isn’t sothing we can understand. There’s no way he would stand in place and let others hit him anyway. What we need to focus on right now is killing this Scaled Earthworm."

Seeing that she was getting embarrassed, Sharky obviously wouldn’t be so tactless as to pursue the matter. He replied, "Of course!"

But inwardly, he felt a bit of regret. Even grandmasters like Diana and Charlotte had no confidence in their ability to fight the emperor. What was he supposed to do against the emperor?

if things really went south?

Diana gave Charlotte a resentful look and asked, "What, are you going to just stand here? Are you trying to steal my skill or sothing?"

"Who would be interested in sothing like that?" Charlotte sneered and left.

Alina gave Sharky a look and told him, "Sharky, Sect Master Diana’s reputation throughout these years has been incredible precisely because of this one-of-a-kind technique, allowing her to remain undefeated among her peers. Back then, countless experts from all sorts of different sects arrived under the court’s lead to surround her, yet they were all killed one by one. Blood flowed like streams. Even the emperor himself admired her unparalleled offensive dao. You need to make good use of this chance."

Sharky replied, "Thank you for the reminder. The dao of art you taught before is also unmatched and I benefited a lot from that. You need to be careful while I’m learning, too."

Hm? Doesn’t this an he’s gone down all our paths...

Alina blushed, her eyes full of emotion as she looked at him. She had felt sowhat bad when she saw Charlotte and Diana pass down such incredible ultimate techniques, having a sense of inferiority and thinking she couldn’t do a thing. And yet, he had sensed how she was feeling and said that to comfort her.

He really is a gentle and considerate man... Why do the people of the world think he’s a disrespectful philanderer?

Hmph, they’re all blind!

Her mood imdiately beca much better. She left while humming a small tune.

Diana pinched Sharky’s ear when Alina left, remarking, "Stupid brat, do you know what kind of situation we’re in? And yet, you’re still flirting with her?"

She didn’t know why, whenever he flirted with others in front of her, she beca jealous.

At the sa ti, she sighed in amazent. Alina really deserved her reputation as the number one beauty. The smile she had shown in that instant really was too shocking. Not even the most charming girls from her Holy Sect could compare!

"Just teach , okay, there is no ti to waste," Sharky replied back, he had already decided. When everything will be solved, he will personally punish her.

"Humph," Diana humphed angrily, "You should just focus on learning the Star Shattering Imprint. As the na implies, the Star Shattering Imprint, when cultivated to its peak, can even shatter a star in a single hit."

Sharky was stunned. He asked, "Is it really that crazy?"

Diana’s expression beca sowhat unnatural as she replied, "I obviously can’t do it, but that was what the ancestors passed on... Ah! Stop asking questions and listen carefully!"

"Yes, ma’am!" Sharky replied. Seeing that she sounded angry, he liked it quite a bit.

Diana continued, "Even though this technique is powerful, it has quite the rebound. You have to keep that in mind, or else it might co back to bite you."

Sharky nodded. It wouldn’t make sense for such a formidable skill to not have any downsides.

"Even if you cultivate this technique to its highest state, you still won’t be able to use it successfully every ti," Diana said.

"What is the success rate?" Sharky asked.

"Only around half," Diana said with a serious expression.

Sharky was stunned, exclaiming, "It’s that high?!" He had thought that it would only have around a ten percent success rate. Fifty percent wasn’t that low at all.

"Is it?" Diana sneered. "After all, when two experts et, life and death are usually decided by the slightest bit of superiority. If your winning blow didn’t succeed, wouldn’t that an the tides could imdiately turn against you?"

Sharky realized that was true. If that kind of situation did happen, he would most likely be killed.

Diana continued, "There’s another problem, too. Fifty percent success rate doesn’t an you’ll succeed if you use it twice. If your luck is bad, you won’t succeed even once when you use it ten tis in a row. That’s a lesson we learned by paying the price of blood throughout many generations."

"I understand. Is it really that random, or is there so kind of chanism behind it?" Sharky asked.

"Is it really random?" Diana repeated. She wasn’t too used to the term, but she felt that it made sense. "Correct. It’s more or less like that. That’s why you need to be ntally prepared. You need to think of a way out whenever you plan to use it. That way, you can still salvage the situation if you fail."

"Then, how long will it take before I can use it again?" Sharky asked while paying close attention.

"This technique’s burden on the body is great. Several hours after using this technique, your condition will worsen," Diana said. "Furthermore, you need half an hour before you can use it again. Moreover, you can’t use it more than three tis in a single day. Otherwise, your body won’t be able to handle it and will explode."

"What the hell?!" Sharky exclaid. Still, he thought that because his body was tougher than most, he should be able to use it a few more tis.

"How can sothing this ridiculous have no price?" Diana sneered. "Watch carefully. How much you learn will depend on you." She began to explain while demonstrating.

All sorts of dao phenona began to erge around them. Sharky felt as if he were being dragged into a world filled with slaughter and death. All around them were mountains of corpses and seas of blood; broken weapons were scattered across the ground. Overhead hung a moon... no, a blood moon!

"Is this her domain..." Sharky murmured in shock. Just how many bloody battles would one have to go through to produce such a world?

"Concentrate! Pay close attention!" Diana called out in a dignified voice.

Sharky shivered inwardly. He quickly imrsed himself, focusing on her as she displayed unrivaled offensive strength. It was as if he were following her as she faced the experts who had surrounded her...

After around a half hour, Diana reappeared in front of Sharky and asked, "How much have you learned?"

Before Sharky had a chance to reply, however, she continued, "The Star Shattering Imprint is extrely profound and mysterious. It would be difficult for a beginner student to understand its essence within a short amount of ti. Based on what we’ve seen from successive generations of cultivators, those with outstanding aptitude can reach roughly a threefold increase in power, while stunning talents can reach a fivefold increase in power. There are a select few who can quickly reach a sevenfold increase.

"With your aptitude, you should be able to produce a fivefold increase... Yes, for that deathworm, that should barely be enough. After all, you haven’t had much ti with the technique. As you spend more ti working on it, you’ll slowly be able to reach a tenfold increase in power."

She spoke for a long ti, but when she saw that Sharky wasn’t answering her, she couldn’t help but frown. She asked, "You haven’t even reached fivefold? Um... You weren’t given much ti, I guess, so there’s no need to feel bad... You should at least be able to display three tis the power, right?"

Sharky didn’t say anything. He took a deep breath, then circulated all his ki through a special pattern. Then, his fist smashed outward. At that instant, the friction between his fist and the air produced a blinding white radiance. A seemingly bottomless crater appeared before him, stretching out endlessly.

The entire blood moon domain trembled intensely. Diana had to withdraw several dozen zhang to avoid the attack. Then, she returned with a strange expression, exclaiming, "You didn’t say a single thing before you attacked! My domain was almost destroyed by your punch..."

Within their own world, a grandmaster was like a founding deity. They could set various laws and principles within their own space. No matter how strong the people inside were, they still wouldn’t be able to do much to the domain. That was, unless soone of equal or higher level unleashed their own domain. The two domains would then mutually offset each others’ power. And yet, Sharky had almost destroyed her domain, relying only on his own brute force?

But Diana didn’t get angry at all. She instead felt sowhat happy as she asked, "You can reach a tenfold increase in power?"

Sharky said seriously, "I was scared that I might hurt you and held back a bit. I should be able to achieve a tenfold increase in power."

Diana was speechless. A glorious Devil Sect Master like her had actually been shown rcy by a junior... Although he was her lover, he is still her junior.

Of course, she knew that it was because she was seriously injured at the mont, and that he really was worried about her.

"How did you manage to get to such a high level with the Star Shattering Imprint, reaching a tenfold increase in power imdiately?" she asked, practically in shock.

"Is this that hard?" Sharky asked in confusion. "How much of an increase was, when you able to reach in the beginning when you first learned it?"

"Of course... ten tis. You’re right; it isn’t that hard. Even though there haven’t been too many of them, there have still been so who could reach this level from the beginning throughout our many generations," Diana replied, although her cheeks heated up a bit.

She had actually only been able to achieve a sevenfold increase when she first learned the technique, and she was actually already an absolutely stunning figure, a rare talent that had only shown up once in thousands and thousands of years of her Holy Sect’s existence. And yet today, this little monster was even more ridiculous.

But she cared about face, so how could she show weakness in front of soone from the younger generation?

"Huh? Just now, didn’t I hear you say that only a few geniuses could reach a sevenfold increase in power?" Sharky asked, sowhat confused.

"Ahem..." Diana looked away, her expression sowhat unnatural as she said, "I said that because I was worried that you’d be overambitious, so I didn’t tell you the truth. If I knew you had talent like this, I wouldn’t have hidden it from you."

"Oh..." Sharky didn’t think too much about it either.

Diana felt a bit guilty. She was worried that he might keep asking questions, so she quickly dispelled her domain.

Charlotte and Alina had already rushed over when they heard the noise. They asked, "How is the lesson going?"

Diana felt a bit uncomfortable and nervous for so reason. Only after so ti did she say, "It’s going very well!"
