Alina blushed. She said with playful annoyance, "You are always teasing ." But she still felt happy whenever she heard him praise her for being pretty.
In truth, many people had used even prettier words than Sharky in describing her beauty, such as calling her the most splendid flower. However, even though she always replied with a smile, she usually didn’t feel anything inside. It had reached a point where she had even been a bit unhappy with her appearance, because it brought her too many unnecessary troubles and difficulties.
But whenever she heard Sharky praise her, she always felt so happy. She had been an incredible beauty to begin with, but now that she was showing her bashful side, she was even more charming.
Alina also noticed his scorching hot gaze. While she felt shy, she also felt a hint of happiness. She said, "Am I pretty?"
Sharky nodded and said with a smile, "You are." He wanted to use so fancier words to describe her, but when their eyes t, he instead felt that they were all unnecessary. It was instead the purest and truest feelings that were best.
Alina’s smile seed to make the entire black cavern beco a bit brighter. She said, "You can look at as long as you want."
She wasn’t a little maiden who didn’t know about worldly matters. She didn’t have to mince words and hide her own thoughts. She had had favorable feelings for him to begin with. And after all, he is her husband, so it was natural that he could look at her in whatever way he liked.
"What there is to think about it, you are always mine, so of course I will look as long as I want," Sharky replied while caressing his cheek.
"Mm," Alina giggled and nodded. After she spoke, she quickly placed her arms around Sharky’s neck, kissing him with her red lips.
Sharky also cooperated with her, he held her waist while kissing.
After a while, their lips separated again. Sharky only rembered that her lips were extrely soft, and also extrely sweet.
Alina’s face was already completely red, but she still said with a shy smile, "You’re always such a sweet guy. But you also turn into a stiff and pure man sotis."
What?! Are you kidding right now? Sharky thought. How could he still hold back? He grabbed her wrist and pushed her against the wall next to them. Then, he lowered his head and kissed her.
When she felt the masculine pressure from Sharky’s rough actions, Alina was stunned at first. However, she reacted soon afterward, feeling that her words must have incited him. Her heart pounded crazily. She slowly closed her eyes, letting him do what he wanted.
Although, she has already experienced many tis with Sharkyz but still she was not able to match him. Under his ministrations, her entire body quickly softened like lted candy.
Sharky felt himself beco incredibly hard when he sensed how soft she had beco. He was soon no longer satisfied with just kissing. Alina’s breath quickened more and more when she sensed him invade her personal space further. However, she only opened her eyes and gave him a resentful look, but didn’t stop him.
Sharky embraced her waist. He was just about to go a step further when a strange, ominous roar rang out. The cave around them rocked back and forth, and chunks of rock began to fall from above.
The two of them were shocked. That sound had erged from the distance. They saw so black fog gradually closing in from the long, pitch-black tunnel, obscuring everything in its path.
"I think sothing was crying out just now," Alina said. Her entire face was red. She was leaning against Sharky as if she didn’t have a bone in her body. If Sharky hadn’t been holding her, she might have fallen to the ground.
"We heard that when we first jumped down here too," Sharky said, his expression serious. He had thought that it might have been the wind or an earthquake, and that it had only beco so loud after being amplified by the huge mine pit.
Now that they were farther inside, he realized it was a living creature’s roar. Its voice carried a terrifying pressure that made both of them feel as if they were facing a great enemy.

anwhile, Charlotte and Diana’s battle was reaching its climax. But when they heard the terrifying noise, both of them agreed to stop.
"What’s that sound?" Diana remarked with a frown. As a grandmaster, she could tell that the entity that had made the noise wasn’t sothing they should provoke.
"I do not know. I heard it earlier when I was descending into the mines. It is probably a kind of beast," Charlotte replied. At the sa ti, her brows furrowed slightly. Sharky didn’t run into that terrifying creature, did he?
Diana frowned, remarking, "What kind of beast has this kind of terrifying pressure?"
"The world is big; nothing is too bizarre. We should treat it with reverence," Charlotte said. "How about we just end things here? That creature is no weaker than us. If we fought until both of us were exhausted, it would be bad if the creature took advantage of our weakness then."
She recalled the result of ’great danger’ when she had used her divination circle earlier. Back then, she had been quite curious as to how, even with her incredible cultivation, there could be anything that dangerous to her.
At first, she had thought that it was Sharky’s pitch-black dagger, but now, she realized that the great danger probably ca from Diana or that unknown terrifying creature. She obviously didn’t want to keep fighting at that point.
Diana sneered and replied, "It’s just a trifling unknown creature, and yet it’s already made our honorable White Jade Sect Master scared? In that case, just hand over your life sooner!"
She ca from the Devil Sect, and her presence carried a natural ferocity. She imdiately surged with power when she sensed Charlotte’s intent to withdraw. This is the perfect chance to get revenge for Sharky!
When she recalled Sharky’s appearance, her aura beca even more vicious. She took out the Empress Lantern, and the dark cave imdiately beca enveloped in golden light.
"Crazy woman!" Charlotte exclaid. She obviously knew how powerful the Empress Lantern was! She didn’t dare to underestimate it and quickly used her domain of Absolute Cold.
Both of them had been adversaries for many years. Even after all those years, a victory had never been determined. Now, however, she keenly sensed Diana’s killing intent, realizing that there was sothing wrong with her mood. If the situation continued, she really might suffer grievously. As such, she no longer held back and planned to deal with the woman before her first. Even though the wounds from her battle against Sharky and Alina weren’t light, Diana was also wounded. There was no reason for her to be scared.
The two grandmasters’ domains began to clash. The interfering laws caused areas to explode one after another. The entire mine began to tremble as if a huge earthquake had occurred. But neither of them could be bothered to worry about that. They now fought seriously, neither side holding back at all. At their level, whichever side held back would be seriously injured.
anwhile, Sharky and Alina sensed the mines shaking slightly, and the rumbling continued. They couldn’t help but look at each other in dismay.
"Don’t tell Charlotte and that roaring beast are fighting?" Sharky remarked sowhat uneasily. He didn’t know where the mysterious creature had co from.
Would Charlotte be in danger? She was Isabelle’s master after all, he thought of returning and checking on her.
But he quickly laughed that thought off. She was a powerful grandmaster, soone who could freely roam the world unworried. She was a human-shaped T-rex. The mysterious creature might even be scared if it saw her.
"Let’s go and find Maid Soni’s group first. I can’t help but feel a bit uneasy about this," Alina said while blushing, erging from his embrace and sorting out her ssy clothes.
"Okay," Sharky replied. However, cursed that mysterious creature to death inwardly. Can’t you shout so other ti? I was almost there!
The mood had already been right there, with both of them unable to hold back their emotions anymore, and yet they were suddenly interrupted. The mood was now completely gone and they obviously couldn’t continue.
The two entered the pitch-black cave. Because of what had just happened, Alina’s face was red and she spoke much less.
Sharky suddenly noticed sothing, however. He exclaid, "Huh? There seems to be sothing over there." He quickly walked over and picked up an item that resembled a palm-sized notebook.
Alina followed him over. She cried out in alarm, "This is the mo book of a Frost Clan guard!"
Sharky was stunned, saying, "Your clan’s guards really are scholarly too."
Alina explained, "The reason they carry these is because the Frost Clan’s guards often need to work in these mines. The mines are full of dangers, and unexpected things happen every day. If the cave collapsed, there might not necessarily be anyone who could provide aid imdiately.
"That’s why every single Frost Clan guard was eventually assigned a mo book. They would write about their usual missions, and if sothing happened, it would serve as a keepsake for their clans."
Her expression beca sowhat grim as she spoke. Such things had clearly happened quite often over the years. Each ti, she had personally delivered the leftover items to their families. However, even though she always gave them generous compensation, whenever she saw an elderly couple who had lost their son, a young wife who had lost her husband, or a younger child wailing in despair after being orphaned, she felt truly awful.
Sharky had already opened up the booklet. There were quite a few things written inside, but the oldest entries just described ordinary missions. There wasn’t anything really worth paying attention to in them.
But when he read the most recent recordings, he discovered so useful information. He read out, "...The cave seed to be shaking, but then everything quickly returned to normal. No one treated it as a big deal... A strange black fog has appeared. We don’t know where it ca from, but it’s all over the mines... We couldn’t get rid of it even after using all sorts of thods..."
"The black fog has corrosive properties. Normal soldiers’ bodies begin rotting on contact, and not even we, the guards, can hold on. However, it seems that so senior officers with higher cultivation ranks can hold on for a short amount of ti.
"We quickly discovered that the black fog has hallucinogenic effects. Many workers and guards who went into the black fog started to hallucinate. They all beca crazier and crazier.
"The work in the mines clearly can’t continue. We’ve contacted all of the miners to move toward the surface... But this black fog is everywhere, so we aren’t sure whether everyone has evacuated successfully.
"Our mission is to search for anyone who might still be down here. A long ti ago, the madam said we couldn’t abandon anyone trapped in the mines, so we can’t bring sha to the madam and the Frost Clan."
Sharky couldn’t help but give Alina a look when he saw that. Alina didn’t feel proud at all, and her expression was filled with grief. Sharky held her ice-cold hand, then continued reading. The later entries beca more and more illegible and intermittent.
"...Bad news today. Black fog has appeared in the middle of our path. We can’t return..."
"But we can’t give up on our mission. We’re going to look around first and gather all the trapped workers. Captain Ding told us that Cloudcenter City has already been inford about what happened here. Madam will send people to save us. The Frost Clan won’t abandon a single person; I trust the madam..."
