Becoming the Villainess: I Dominate the Cultivation Realm with My Wok! Chapter 365
"Wow, how did you know he was an Immortal Sect Disciple? He wasn’t wearing clothes... I an, he wasn’t wearing the Immortal Sect clothes, everybody could see he was actually wearing clothes." Chen Muxue grew more embarrassed the more she explained, coughing lightly.
Seeing Chen Muxue’s flustered expression, Yu Yan chuckled softly instead, "Immortal Sect Disciples, unless in tis of crisis, won’t reveal their Spirit Root and Spiritual Power’s attributes."
As they conversed, everyone suddenly felt a tinge of crisis once more.
Yu Yan bead as he said, "So, every ti I encounter soone from the Immortal Sect, I’m always curious... what attribute does the other party have?"
Just as he raised his hand, Chen Muxue shouted loudly, "Wok! My wok!"
"Who, who’s your brother?" The Second Prince looked bewildered.
The smile on Yu Yan’s face crumbled for a mont as he tried to grip the iron wok with his hand. However, the next second, the wok seed to have a mind of its own and swung back into Chen Muxue’s hand like a dragon’s tail.
When the so-called dragon’s tail swung, it not only ran but deliberately gave Yu Yan’s face a smack—a move no one expected from an iron wok. Thus, Yu Yan indeed received a solid hit on his face.
Chen Muxue, who had retrieved the iron wok, looked awkwardly at Yu Yan, who remained frozen in place, as the atmosphere suddenly stalled.
"Ha, that’s a nice wok. Where did the young lady obtain such a Divine Artifact?" Yu Yan took out a handkerchief and ticulously wiped his face, finally showing so resemblance to a eunuch.
Chen Muxue cleared her throat, "Secrets of Heaven cannot be divulged!"
"Secrets of Heaven... indeed remarkable." Yu Yan’s expression imdiately turned uglier, more sinister.
Good heavens, seems like I’m dancing on the enemy’s minefield.
Chen Muxue felt like crying yet had no tears.
"I wonder what senior truly intends; it’s not that we can’t cooperate," Cen Lizhui stepped forward, blocking most of Yu Yan’s view. Fighting was out of the question, but at least considering the credibility of the sects, there should be a sliver of hope.
Upon hearing this, Yu Yan laughed, "You kid speak pretty amusingly. It’s not that you can’t cooperate? I think you have no choice but to cooperate, right?"
Chen Muxue really had no way to refute his words.
"You discussed the Emperor in the Imperial Palace. But seeing as you just escaped from the Heavenly Prison, I won’t bother sending you back there. I heard you have the capability to heal the Crown Prince?" Yu Yan raised an eyebrow.
The group exchanged glances but didn’t rush to answer.
"Follow ," Yu Yan said, turning and leaving without another glance.
Seeing this, Chen Muxue whispered, "He’s not looking at us, should we just run?"
Just as she finished speaking, she saw Lin Qing, who had been embedded in the wall, slowly float past her in a daze.
Chen Muxue was silent for a mont, "Let’s go."
Then everyone quietly followed in Yu Yan’s footsteps.
The Second Prince, seeing the path leading toward Yangxin Hall, was sowhat startled. He rarely saw this eunuch but still had so impression, further confirming he rembered correctly.
Could this be Yu Yan, who has beco very favored ever since the Emperor fell ill and was now promoted to Chief Eunuch? He didn’t have high cultivation; who knew Yu Yan possessed such prowess that even this group of cultivators by his side had to obediently listen. What kind of expert was the Emperor hiding by his side? Was it because he feared soone might take advantage of his illness to do sothing?
Or perhaps... is the real person in charge no longer the Emperor?
