Cen Lizhui not only finished writing, but also casually took out a chisel and began carving.

Lin Qing looked at him oddly, so talented?

Huo Lian didn’t expect he could do wood carving and even brought his own tools. He was montarily surprised but then cald down. So what if he can carve? The writing doesn’t look good; even if he carves it, what good is it?

After Cen Lizhui finished carving, he casually handed it to Chen Muxue, who seamlessly accepted it and carefully brushed cornstarch over it before pressing it onto the mooncakes.

Huo Lian shook his head repeatedly, thinking Miss Chen trusted this person too much. Wouldn’t the mooncakes she worked so hard to make be ruined?

Unexpectedly, he looked down and saw the "Flourish of Flowers and Full Moon" characters on the mooncakes, which could only be described as "swift as the wind and rainbow". Unlike his own dignified, stable, and heavy regular script, this person’s cursive writing was bold and won by being graceful, distinct but without any intentional winding or reckless madness. Each character’s unique layout imprinted on the mooncakes gave them an inexplicable sense of integrated beauty.

Looking again at his own characters, in pursuit of that solemn feeling, they were too rigid.

Regular script was chosen by his elders at ho; initially, he didn’t like it, but they said a person should be upright and proper. Although their family was in business, they connected the mortal and the immortal, which required attention.

And this Immortal Sect disciple was clearly carefree, unlike him, acting rely from his heart. Practicing calligraphy was no exception, hence writing such spirited characters.

"I admit defeat." Huo Lian awkwardly cupped his hands towards Cen Lizhui, "I only knew you were an Immortal Sect disciple, but I haven’t asked your na."

Cen Lizhui smiled gently, "I’m Zhui Li, rely an insignificant Outer Disciple of the Immortal Sect, no need for formalities, Huo Gongzi."

Hearing this, Lin Qing’s gaze shifted among them, wondering why Cen Lizhui chose to hide his identity.

While they spoke, the first batch of mooncakes was already in the oven baking.

"Your pot is indeed ever-changing," remarked Lin Qing.

Chen Muxue exhaled deeply, finally able to take a break, as it was getting late. She looked outside, "Has Little Flower co back?"

"Rest assured, no one has passed through the Barrier," Cen Lizhui assured.

"Your Immortal Sect should be full of righteous gentlen, right?" Chen Muxue cautiously looked at him; if so, then the Immortal Sect seed to have control over her Qian Ding Sect’s Barrier?

Lin Qing couldn’t help but chuckle, "The Immortal Sect wouldn’t fancy... uh."

Halfway through his words, he realized he was in Qian Ding Sect territory, so he stopped talking.

However, Chen Muxue understood Lin Qing’s implication, pondered for a mont, and shrugged, "That’s true. But I’m not at ease since Little Flower isn’t back yet."

Little Flower was weaving through the grass, which grew taller than her, with the Black Cat struggling behind her.

"Little Flower is here?"

An unexpected female voice reached the Black Cat’s ears. His ears twitched, and he looked toward the sound source warily.

He saw the dense grass suddenly part to both sides, forming a path. A woman dressed in fluffy white clothes rushed out, full of joy, grabbing Little Flower and smothering her with affection.

"Little Flower is so good! I knew you loved sister best, didn’t you? Give kisses!"

Little Flower didn’t react much, but the Black Cat was startled by the sudden appearance of the woman, and took two steps back with his fur bristling.
