Chapter 86: 0086 Are you still worried that life will be difficult?_1

The sobbing of Lucy Wood in the room gradually beca quieter.

Now that the caras and headset were turned off, she wasn’t afraid of being overheard by others.

Only Ellen Young was outside anyway.

Lucy Wood didn’t know how long it had been, and there was no movent outside. After she had cried and gradually cald down, she thought of Ellen Young outside and imdiately felt so regret and embarrassnt. She had cried so fiercely that her voice beca nasal, “Was Ellen outside just now?”

Felicia Frost sighed, “You just realized? I told you to stop talking.”

But now it was too late to say anything.

Lucy Wood wondered if Ellen Young would think she was deliberately playing the poor girl in there.

Lucy Wood was a celebrity, and her acting skills weren’t bad when she perford on TV.

But so things were only known to Felicia Frost—in this industry, who doesn’t have their own challenges?

Those who can beco famous are the ones who can hold so sway over public discourse.

Not to ntion, Lucy Wood had her own family situation to deal with.

Lucy Wood bowed her head, her fingers nervously fidgeting, “I… I just couldn’t help it.”

Many things have a trigger, and you can’t keep them bottled up inside.

Once you vent, things will get a lot better.

Felicia Frost spoke somberly, “This program still has half a year to go.”

Such a long ti, with only a week of live broadcasting each month.

It’s all to maintain the buzz.

Indeed, the program was now hot, with over a dozen trending topics consecutively, keeping the heat high, and every celebrity was a topic for the public.

However, among them, Lucy Wood and Ellen Young received the most noticeable negative reviews.

Lucy Wood also felt tired, “Yes, another half year to go.”

It was only the second day.

After a while, there was so noise outside, and suddenly Lucy Wood heard Ellen Young’s voice, “I stewed so rock sugar pear soup, do you want so?”

Lucy Wood paused, exchanged a glance with Felicia Frost, and hastily replied, “Coming.”

She wiped her tears, unable to completely stop her eyes, swollen from crying, so she reluctantly used a wet tissue to dab at them.

She could only apply a makeshift compress tonight, and didn’t know if it would still be visible tomorrow morning.

Seeing the composed Ellen Young, Lucy Wood subconsciously lowered her head, not daring to et her gaze.

She rembered the crying from her room; she had cried so loudly, Ellen Young must have heard it.

Sigh.

She saw two bowls of rock sugar pear soup on the table.

Ellen Young had just stewed it, using so of the pears left from yesterday.

Lucy Wood picked up a bowl and smiled at Ellen Young, “Thank you.”

“Don’t ntion it,” Ellen Young said as she saw Felicia Frost erging from the room, “Do you want so?”

Felicia Frost was sowhat flattered, “Is there a portion for too?”

Ellen Young nodded, “I stewed a whole pot.”

Enough for several people to drink.

Of course, Felicia Frost accepted.

The food stewed by Ellen Young must be delicious, and if it weren’t for the villagers helping them cook over the past few days, their lives would have been truly miserable.

She quickly agreed, and Ellen Young pointed to the remaining bowl on the table, then turned to go back into the kitchen to get herself another bowl.

The soup was utterly fresh and sweet, and the flavor of rock sugar didn’t overpower the natural taste of the pear. A sip of the sweet broth made one feel the sweetness deep in their heart.

Lucy Wood felt like crying again.

But she had just cried, so she blinked hard, forcing her tears back.

Thinking of Ellen Young now, she couldn’t help but smile.

Felicia Frost, sipping the soup and seeing her smile, said, “You should smile more. With your beauty and popularity, are you afraid you won’t have good days ahead?”
