The village head thought they were just ordinary items and happily took them without hesitation.

They were all new household appliances, but not ones she had purchased.

After all, she was going to live in the house, so it made sense to buy so things to make ands.
Ellen Young thought about it and decided not to refuse. With the new appliances moved in, the house began to look more like a ho.
The tile-roofed house had only one story. Ellen planned to build another structure next to it for storage and as a small laboratory.
There were three bedrooms in the house. She occupied one herself, reserved one for Lucy Wood, and turned the remaining one into a study.
Now far away in Water City, Lucy Wood finally sighed in relief when she heard that Ellen had accepted those items.
“I was afraid she wouldn’t take them.”
Lucy was in the dressing room, rushing to prepare for a shoot.
Her agent, Felicia Frost, was sitting on the sofa next to her, laughing, “Why wouldn’t she accept? The appliances you sent are all branded. The total is almost close to a hundred thousand. If she agreed to do the program, why wouldn’t she accept them?”
Lucy was still sowhat worried, “You ntioned her house is a tile-roofed house, but all these new appliances are branded. Won’t viewers say sothing when they see them?”
“What’s there to say? They’ll know you bought them. It’s only right for you to help your sister by finding her and supporting her, isn’t it?”
Lucy laughed bitterly, “Those nitpickers will definitely say why not just buy her a house directly. Even if I wanted to buy one, there’s nothing I can do if she doesn’t want to live in it.”
“How would nitpickers know whether you bought it or not? Whatever you do on the program, they’ll have sothing to say, and besides, you have plenty of haters.”
Lucy’s beauty was dazzling and provocative—not the innocently youthful look that tends to be popular with audiences. Thus, many haters would say that Lucy, true to her na, had a bewitching fox’s face—a female star like her was prone to attracting many haters.
But her beauty was indeed genuine.
Lucy nodded, and Felicia glanced at her cellphone before informing her, “I already know who the other guests on the program are. The program team is trying to make a big change this ti by inviting the veteran actor George Yates, and his wife and daughter to join the show. In addition, the recently popular male star Victor Brown will join with his family, and there’s also soone you know well—Naya York.”
At the ntion of Naya York’s na, Lucy paused, then a rare sneer appeared on her face, “She really does follow everywhere.”
Felicia also snorted with laughter, “Seriously.”
Lucy and Naya had long been rivals.
And not just in the entertainnt industry, but also among the rich families.
Lucy was the neglected eldest daughter of the Wood Family, while Naya was the cherished daughter of a prestigious family.
The two of them were like opposite extres.
