In the following days, Lucy Wood got familiar with Haran Village, though she complained about the troubleso condition of the road leading to the village.

However, upon seeing the road construction begin in Haran Village, Lucy Wood said to Felicia Frost, "It seems we are quite lucky. Otherwise, I was actually considering funding a road construction myself. The next ti we co, it won't be so troubleso."

To get to Haran Village, one has to switch vehicles several tis.

There isn't even a direct bus.

Felicia Frost, "Exactly."

With countryside conditions being what they are and lacking entertainnt, it really is a puzzle how Lucy Wood and Ellen Young will find ways to pass the ti during the long duration of the recording.

Felicia Frost could nearly envisage the boring situation where for 24 hours a day, Ellen Young and Lucy Wood would just stare at each other.

By that ti, the viewership of their live broadcast group is likely to hit rock bottom...

However, Felicia Frost no longer cared about whether completing the task would bring any change for Lucy Wood.

No image was as significant as losing two hundred million.

Before leaving, they took a trip to the back of the village, where Aunt Hailey ntioned that Ellen Young had hired workers to renovate her family ho. From afar, Lucy Wood could see the bustling scene at Ellen's house, a pity that Ellen wasn't there.

Thinking of this, Lucy Wood couldn't help but feel a bit pleased, "Felicia, do you think Ellen is renovating her house because she's going to record the program with ?"

Felicia Frost couldn't help but look at her with pity, "You're also from the entertainnt industry, how can you be this naive? Honestly, ask yourself, do you really think she's doing it for you? She just ca back recently and renovating the house is a normal thing to do."

Lucy Wood, "..."

Alas.

She didn't want to think positively, but does that an she should think that Ellen and the Wood Family were alike?

She also wondered what the Wood Family would think upon knowing that Ellen had agreed to record the program with her.

Thinking about this, Lucy Wood still felt a bit of heartache.

Felicia Frost called her, "Alright, we should go. There's a lot to prepare, and you need to pack so things before you move over, or how are you going to live?"

There was only one month left.

Lucy Wood nodded and followed Felicia Frost out.

A few days later, Ellen Young returned ho.

The workers she hired were no ordinary people, so things moved quickly; the house that her grandfather had left had undergone major changes.

Since the courtyard was very large, unnecessarily so, Ellen made many changes.

She dug a pond in the middle of the left side of the courtyard, where the water flowed gently, and it had been stocked with fry and even a few large fish.

In the center, a small bridge was built connecting to the outside hillside, and on both sides of the pond, she had broken ground for two vegetable patches that had already been planted.

To the right, a pavilion was constructed, and under the big tree next to the pavilion, a swing was placed. Fences with a privacy screen were erected all around the house, and the fence was densely decorated with transplanted flowering vines; when the wind blew, the fragrance was heady.

Colorful flowers blossod all around the house, giving this small mountainous ensemble a taste of an earthly paradise.

The rooms inside were almost finished being renovated; the living room was no longer just dirt and clay but had been laid with special stone slabs, odorless and translucent in a light gray shade, ready for soone to move in soon.

The entire courtyard, now filled with so pieces of furniture, truly had the feel of a ho.

She sat on the swing, surrounded by busy workers, but not a single one disturbed her.

Gazing at this scene, she rembered her grandfather.
