Chapter 132: 0132 I added 10 million_1 to him Chapter 132: 0132 I added 10 million_1 to him Ellen Young stepped out of the elevator and found herself in front of Clinton White’s front door.

The door was already open, and Clinton stood there awaiting her arrival. Upon seeing Ellen, he imdiately smiled, “You’re here, BOSS.”

Ellen nodded, and as Clinton led her inside, a tempting aroma wafted through the air, “Zoe knew you were coming and insisted on cooking herself today. I’ve never tried her cooking…if it tastes bad, you don’t have to be polite on my account.”

Ellen rely smiled in response.

Zoe Lewis, who was in the kitchen, overheard this and retorted, “What right do you have to complain, you freeloader!”

She ca out of the kitchen wearing an apron, and upon seeing Ellen, her eyes showed a hint of admiration, “Boss!”

Her hair was short, giving her that refreshing and neat look of a young girl that made one feel instantly rejuvenated at a glance.

And yet, her tone was surprisingly gentle.

Ellen said, “Just call Ellen.”

Zoe looked at Ellen, a bit nervously, “Then I’ll take you up on that, Ellen.”

She had only t Ellen once during an engagent ceremony and had to leave in a hurry, so Zoe didn’t know much about Clinton, the legendary boss.

Being from outside their world, she later learned from Clinton’s briefings just how impressive Ellen was, leaving Zoe feeling like she had to tread carefully around such an ‘immortal’.

Clinton chuckled, “What are you afraid of? You’re bold enough when dealing with . BOSS isn’t going to bite you.”

Zoe rolled her eyes at Clinton.

One could tell the couple was very much in love.

Ellen stood by with a light smile on her face.

She had a slightly better relationship with Clinton because they worked together. She wasn’t aware of how he and Zoe had t, only knowing that Clinton had suddenly inford her two years ago that he was in love.

As a boss, Ellen naturally supported her subordinate’s romantic relationship.

A person like Clinton had a clear plan for his life. Even though Zoe seed a bit brash, there must be reasons why Clinton made his choice.

Ellen was not one to ddle in other people’s choices.

“Ah, take a seat, Ellen. I’m simring soup right now,” said Zoe, before turning back to the kitchen to stay busy.

Clinton laughed, “I really owe you one today. I’ve been with her for so long, and she’s never cooked a al for —not even once—except for instant noodles.”

Ellen lightly laughed, “Do you need her to cook for you? Can’t you cook yourself?”

Clinton assertively replied, “I can’t.”

Ellen: “Then you shouldn’t comnt on others.”

Clinton chuckled, sat Ellen down, poured her a glass of water, and said, “The crew I found for Lucy Wood ran into so issues with the director.”

Ellen casually asked, “Oh? What issues?”

Clinton waved it off, “Just the big director’s quirks. He’s making a coback and didn’t want to tarnish his reputation, frowning upon your sister as not being an authentic superstar.”

Turner Matt, an award-winning international director, was very protective of his reputation, hence his reluctance when he heard Lucy Wood was to be the female lead.

He didn’t actually know who Lucy was, but a quick internet search would have told him.

Ellen: “How did you solve it?”

If the issue hadn’t been resolved, Clinton wouldn’t have brought it up directly with Ellen.

Clinton: “I couldn’t be bothered with him, so I just threw in an extra 10 million, and he shut up.”

Ellen: “Oh.”
