After sending Henry off, I tried to go back to sleep. I expected this night to be calr compared to the previous one. But I was proven wrong when loud noises started to go off even before I opened my eyes. People were fighting not too far away from the shop, and I pulled my covers over my head.

The night ended with being half-asleep and half-awake, and I pushed my tired body out of the bed and toward the washroom. A good shower woke right up, but it was not able to bring down the pain in my body.

’I wonder how the kids slept.’

I was worried about those kids, but I clearly had no reason to. Because when those kids did co down, they looked refreshed, and their eyes held no sign of sleep. Even Fenrir looked to have slept well.

"Master, why do you look like you got no sleep last night? We all had a blast sleeping. I even dread about getting ultimate food buffer."

Fenrir told as he boasted about his dream. I could not help but give him a fond glance before I went back to work.

I had not even opened my shop when soone ca knocking at my door. I went to check who it was, only to see Leo’s body staggering against the door.

"Leo, you—"

I tried to speak, but the male pushed himself past my door and headed inside the shop.

"Shopkeeper, I need... help. I cannot take it anymore..."

The man told before he collapsed. I had to extend my hand quickly toward him to save his head from hitting any place in the shop.

From the complexion Leo had, he was clearly injured. I needed to get him to safety in order to check on him.

"Nyx, Erebus, please prepare a bed for . I will... ugh... drag Leo there."

I told the twins, and they quickly did as I asked. Fenrir also lingered around nervously, but since he had no hands, he could not help us out.

It was a struggle to put Leo in the bed. His body was heavy, and he kept struggling against every ti I tried holding him. But after twenty minutes, I finally succeeded and let out a sigh of relief.

"Shopkeeper, what happened? Can we do anything to help?"

Nyx asked as she looked at Leo. Her worried eyes looked at , and I ruffled her hair to ease her worry.

"Don’t worry. I will check up on Leo to see what’s wrong. Would you and Erebus mind looking after the store for now? Just keep an eye on the custors and hand them anything they might want."

I told the twins, and they nodded. They gave Leo one last glance before they went out.

Once the twins were out, I pulled Leo’s shirt to see what was wrong with him. He had no new injuries, so I could not figure out what was wrong with him.

But it did not take long for him to open his eyes either. He jerked in place, his body standing up all of a sudden, and I quickly reached out to help him sit up.

"Are you alright? Take it a little easy."

I told Leo, but he seed determined to stand up and leave. I had no choice but to force him to sit down.

"First, sit down so that we can talk about what’s going on. Tell when you have cald down a little."

I told Leo, and he looked startled before he took a sigh and breathed out.

"Sorry, my nervousness got the better of . I am just... worried about Luna. Has she dropped by the store recently? I cannot find her anywhere."

Leo told , and that did seem like a concerning thing to be worried about. It was not every day that soone lost their sister like this.

"Luna is... missing? Are you sure about that?"

I asked, and Leo nodded.

"Yeah, she was gone when I woke up this morning, and I even waited for her to co back all this ti. But she did not co back. I am worried about her. I wonder whether sothing happened to her or not."

That was a valid concern to have. Especially Luna did kind of seem like an airhead at tis.

But even so, sothing about this felt... off. Luna might have been scatterbrained, but she had never simply vanished without leaving a ssage—at least, not since she and Leo had started staying together.

"Did she say anything yesterday? Anything unusual?"

I asked gently, trying to piece together what could have happened.

Leo shook his head quickly.

"No, nothing. We had dinner, she teased like usual, then she said she was going to bed. That was it. When I woke up, her bed was empty. No note. No signs of anything strange. She just... disappeared."

His hands clenched tightly, knuckles turning white. He was trying to keep calm, but the fear was written across his face.

I placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Alright. First things first, you need to breathe. Panicking won’t help either of you."

Leo lowered his gaze, swallowing hard.

"...I know. I know that. But Luna... she’s all I have left. If sothing happens to her, I..."

His voice cracked.

I let him take a mont. For soone who always tried to look mature, he was still just a boy carrying more responsibility than he knew how to handle.

"We’ll find her. But I need you to tell everything you rember. Even the smallest detail might help."

I finally said.

Leo hesitated, then nodded.

"Actually... there was one strange thing. Last night, before bed, Luna said sothing weird. She said she felt like soone was calling her. I thought she was joking, but..."

His expression twisted.

"What if it wasn’t a joke? What if she followed that call?"

A chill crawled up my spine.

A "call"? At night? Near this town, of all places?

That never ant anything good.

"Leo, do you rember anything else she said?"

I said quietly,

He looked up at with fear slowly forming in his eyes.

"...She said it felt like the voice knew her na."
