Chapter 879: Chapter 37: The Accusation Chapter 879: Chapter 37: The Accusation One must not act impulsively.

Although Dean Frist had made his decision, he would never act rashly.

When and how to inform the Supre Council required careful consideration.

Currently, there were two most important matters. First was the placent of Lotson and Link, and second was to secretly command the Ravensmouth College Advance Team to prepare for any troubles.

Link was easy to settle, without even requiring Dean Frist’s attention.

Within the Four Sects Legions, there was surely a place where Link could stay.

Accommodating Lotson proved to be more troubleso.

In theory, to show respect for Lotson, at least one Diomand should be present to accompany him throughout.

However, within the mbers of the Ravensmouth College Advance Team, only Dean Frist was a Great Sage Level Diomand.

Others, like Sandra Diomand, weren’t qualified to represent the Diomand Family and Ravensmouth College for hosting and accompanying.

What kind of person was Lotson, and what kind of insight did he have?

He saw right through Dean Frist’s feigned difficulty.

Feigned!

Waving his hand dismissively, Lotson spoke with irritation, “You don’t need to worry needlessly here, nor do you need to put on an act. While many already know my identity, I prefer not to draw too much attention for now, and there’s no need for pomp and circumstance. I will just follow my cheap brother and sister-in-law quietly. Go busy yourself with your sches and intrigues.”

“Thank you for your understanding, Saint.”

Dean Frist readily agreed, or rather, he was more than willing for Lotson to be so considerate, and he imdiately accepted the arrangent.

Dean Frist gave Sage Serene a signal with his eyes, apologized to Lotson once again, and hurriedly left amidst the bustle.

Due to the sudden developnt, he needed to raise the alert level of the Ravensmouth College Advance Team to the highest with the quickest and most stealthy thods, preparing for troubles that may co from all directions.

Externally, such as from Monster civilizations, and internally, such as from the Tower of the Great Sage Mitchell.

The reason Dean Frist was in such a hurry was indeed as Lotson said—he had sches to attend to!

The main reason was that, with the stature of Ravensmouth College, they were no match for the current Great Sage Mitchell on their own.

But with the addition of the High Council’s Parallel Universe Office, it was a different story.

It should be noted that the Wizard civilization had already dispatched three Level Nine Great Sages to the Parallel Universe.

As long as Great Sage Mitchell hadn’t successfully ascended to the Saint Position, they were sufficient to subdue him.

Nothing was set in stone yet, and there was plenty of room to maneuver.

“Let’s go, let’s head back.”

After Dean Frist left, Jasmine imdiately wrapped her arm around Link’s with great affection, oblivious to those around them, displaying intimacy that seed a bit too cloying.

Yet Link reveled in it, blatantly ignoring Sage Serene’s rolling eyes and Lotson’s exaggerated expression of covering his own eyes as if he couldn’t bear to look.

Sage Serene didn’t show much reaction.

They were being cloying, so what? She simply chose not to watch.

“Tch!”

Seeing this, Lotson openly showed his disdain for their behavior with his actions.

Link and Jasmine ignored it, continuing to do their own thing.

With no way to deal with the thick-skinned couple, Lotson and Sage Serene could only play the role of the third wheel, shining brightly in the background.

After a lively exchange, the four quieted down and continued their journey toward the Four Sects Legion War Defense Area.

However, on the way back, Sage Serene seed hesitant to speak.

The news she had just learned weighed on her mind, sparking doubts she was afraid to voice.

It wasn’t that Sage Serene was feeling shy, but she worried that asking might ss things up.

Link keenly noticed this but didn’t take the initiative to encourage her to express her doubts.

So questions are better kept hidden.

Even if asking them didn’t really spoil anything, it could still bring unnecessary trouble.

However, Lotson, going through a “tamorphosis Period” and bound by no one, prone to reckless actions, certainly didn’t see it that way.

The more chaotic the situation beca, the more interwoven the relationships, the happier he was.

The so-called mystery, simply put, is about extracting order from chaos.

Therefore, Lotson straightforwardly said, “Serene Wizard, if there’s sothing you want to ask, just ask directly. There’s no need to bottle it up inside. Rest assured, with here, no one other than us will be able to hear what you say.”

This statent felt vaguely familiar to Link.

If Dean Frist were still here, he would likely feel the sa way.

Link opened his mouth, had intended to remind Sage Serene of the unreliability of Lotson’s statent.

But Lotson beat Link to it, glaring fiercely at him.

With a look that seed to say if you dare to expose my shortcomings and ruin my image, I’ll never let it go.

Link wasn’t afraid of that, but upon further thought, considering the Ancestor Heavenly Master incident, Lotson’s confidence clearly wasn’t just impulsive.

Even if Lotson made another blunder, anyone who could breach his defenses and “eavesdrop” on the conversations here would have to be one of the Heavenly Immortals or Celestial Masters of the Wizard civilization, at the Saint Position.

Even the leveling-up Great Sage Mitchell didn’t have that ability.

With this in mind, why should Link play the villain?

So, Link remained silent, swallowing the words that had reached his throat.

Sage Serene sensed sothing odd, but based on certain considerations, she decided to heed Lotson’s advice and speak up about the doubts in her heart.
