Becoming a Wizard by Starting From the Mind Closure Technique Chapter 870 - 870 32 Different Worlds2
Chapter 870: Chapter 32 Different Worlds_2 Chapter 870: Chapter 32 Different Worlds_2 Lotson, full of confidence, hadn’t anticipated such an event and was caught off guard as well.
When he found this suspected counterpart, he had conducted an extrely thorough inspection.
From the inside out, top to bottom, he found no suspicious aspect whatsoever.
Who would have thought he would be duped? He felt quite embarrassed and annoyed.
But whether it was Dean Frist, Link, or Lotson himself, they all were individuals with strong composure.
After a very brief mont of shock, the three quickly regained their calm.
Dean Frist and Link exchanged a glance, and with great tacit understanding, they handed the lead in the conversation over to Lotson.
It was left to this reincarnation of the Saint of Nostrodamus to confront the Ancestor Heavenly Master from the Immortal God Tomorrow Court’s Heavenly Master’s Mansion—equivalent to a wizard civilization’s Saint Position.
Lotson, paying no heed to the careful thoughts and calculations of Dean Frist and Link, took a step forward and questioned the suspected counterpart now controlled by the Ancestor Heavenly Master, “Ancestor Heavenly Master, how did you escape my inspection?”
“It doesn’t matter whether I evaded it or not.”
Confronted with Lotson’s direct question, the Ancestor Heavenly Master waved his hand and chuckled, “I simply had the advantage of being the first to act. This body was refined by , this True Spirit was assembled by . As for things created by my hand, retrieving them is hardly difficult, is it?”
“I see.”
Lotson nodded, understanding the crux of the matter.
Built-in backdoors are indeed difficult to guard against.
Without dwelling on this matter any further, Lotson asked directly, “May I know what you, Ancestor Heavenly Master, have plotted so ticulously and revealed yourself for?”
The response of the Ancestor Heavenly Master was quite simple, and with another chuckle, he said, “My descendants always say that your wizard civilization values direct communication, preferring straightforwardness over beating around the bush. It seems to be true, I see it now, quite direct indeed.”
“Heh…”
Lotson let out a cold laugh, showing no intent to continue the conversation.
His attitude was clear.
If you don’t answer my question, and keep beating around the bush, it’s useless.
Since you’ve shown yourself, you must have a plan; let’s see how long you can keep evading.
The Ancestor Heavenly Master, oblivious to Lotson’s intention and seeing that Lotson wasn’t pursuing the matter further, turned away from him, looking instead at Link who made no effort to conceal his wariness, and greeted with a smile, “Long ti no see.”
This greeting imdiately gave rise to countless questions in Link’s mind.
Have we t?
I don’t think so.
If not, then how can it be ‘long ti no see’?
Dean Frist was also puzzled and looked forward to what explanation the Ancestor Heavenly Master would give.
Lotson, not annoyed by being ignored by the Ancestor Heavenly Master, simply observed his every word and action.
Suppressing the questions that kept welling up in his heart, Link, under the Ancestor Heavenly Master’s gaze, calmly retorted, “Ancestor Heavenly Master, when have we t?”
The Ancestor Heavenly Master let out a hearty laugh, “At that ti, your True Spirit was oblivious, you do not rember, but I rember very clearly. Although it was more than seventeen hundred years ago, it remains vivid in my mind.”
“Please, Ancestor Heavenly Master, enlighten .”
Link pondered for a mont and, following the etiquette of the Immortal God civilization, bowed respectfully.
Dean Frist and Lotson both listened intently, keen to hear the “past events” from the mouth of the Ancestor Heavenly Master.
The Ancestor Heavenly Master lifted his right hand, with the index and middle fingers together, he touched the forehead of the body, forcing out the somber True Spirit, and spoke gravely:
“That year, I road the starry sky, exploring the limits of the cosmos, tracing back along the Long River of Ti.
Throughout the journey, I faced various difficulties, each overco in turn, until I finally arrived at the source of the Long River of Ti.
The tilines of various universes may be long or short, fast or slow, each with its differences.
But only at the source, it seems, are they connected.
At the source, the barriers between universes are weakened to the extre.
While they still prevent direct communication between different universes, it is possible to convey ssages through certain ans.
Because of this property, I encountered the True Spirit Saint of your Supre Council at the headwaters of our respective universes’ tilines.
Afterward, across the barrier of our two universes, we had a very hasty exchange and established a principle of mutual assistance between the Immortal God civilization and the wizard civilization.
The True Spirit Saint left first, and I continued to stay, observing the source of the Long River of Ti.
Just then, a great battle erupted at the source of the other universe’s Long River of Ti.”
The intensity of the battle was so great that it even disturbed the source of the ti stream in that universe, affecting even my side.
Although the impact was negligible, I could not ignore it and thus intervened to smooth the origin of the ti stream.
Had I not acted, it would have been fine, but with that intervention, trouble arose.
The barrier at the origin of ti in that universe sohow developed a small hole.
Two beams of light burst forth from that small hole.
At that ti, I was busy stabilizing the ti stream and couldn’t act in ti to stop them, I could only watch helplessly as the two beams of light dispersed.
Afterwards, one beam of light disappeared without a trace, while the other, quite miraculously, passed through the connection between your and my universes, entering your Wizard civilization’s starry sky.
Later on, when I found a mont, I traced back what I had observed, and that’s when I discovered that within those two beams of light lay two True Spirits.”
At this point, the Ancestor Heavenly Master paused, then looking at Link, continued, “You are the True Spirit that entered the Wizard civilization’s starry sky, losing so insignificant residues in the process, which I gathered and crafted into what you refer to as the homologous body.”
Having listened to the Ancestor Heavenly Master’s explanation of the origins, Link sank into deep thought.
Dean Frist’s eyebrows were tightly furrowed, deep in thought as to what he might be pondering.
Lotson curiously asked, “Did the other beam of light truly vanish without a trace? I’m not so sure, Ancestor Heavenly Master. The extent of the Saints’ capabilities is unknown to others, but I am well aware. I don’t believe that the Ancestor Heavenly Master was so preoccupied at the ti that he couldn’t act, let alone track it.”
“Indeed, it vanished without a trace.”
Facing the skepticism, the Ancestor Heavenly Master chuckled lightly before replying earnestly, “That is the truth. If you do not believe it, I will not force you to.”
“Heh…”
Lotson let out a cold laugh, his disbelief clear.
Disbelief is disbelief.
At that mont, Link erged from his thoughts and asked earnestly yet directly, “Ancestor Heavenly Master, I wonder what you hope to gain from all this effort you’ve put into ?”
“Gain what?”
The Ancestor Heavenly Master repeated a few words from Link’s inquiry, then said, “Actually, there’s not much, first, I want to know what exactly happened at the source of the ti stream in that universe at the ti, and second, I aim to find the whereabouts of the other beam of light through you.”
“Through ?”
Link was puzzled, “Why would you want to find out the whereabouts of the other beam of light? Why could it be found through ?”
“The reasons relate to the secrets of the Celestial Court, which I am not at liberty to disclose.”
This ti, the Ancestor Heavenly Master did not answer every question but rather, with an apologetic tone, stated, “Little Buddy, Link, I have shown myself this ti without any ulterior motive, it was just a sudden whim to greet you. Once my impulse subsides, I shall return. I am leaving now, until we et again.”
As his voice faded, the consciousness of the Ancestor Heavenly Master disappeared from the body of the presud homologous body.
Before Lotson could react, the presud homologous body began to fade away from the feet up, as if it was being erased by a rubber from a drawing on paper.
In a mont, all traces of the presud homologous body had vanished.
“Impressive technique.”
Lotson exclaid sincerely.
Status is status, realm is realm, power is power.
These three must not be conflated.
Lotson, as the reincarnation of the Saint of Nostrodamus, could forcibly return to the Saint Position through so arrangents made before his past life’s end.
However, the restoration process for his Wizard realm and strength would be necessary.
To put it unpleasantly, Lotson’s current state was having high standards but low ability.
He had just managed to discern what the Ancestor Heavenly Master wanted to do, but was unable to react in ti and act to prevent it.
This was the Ancestor Heavenly Master’s response.
In answer to Lotson’s previous arrogant claim, “While I am here, he won’t be able to sense what’s happening.”
“Indeed, an impressive technique.”
At this ti, Dean Frist also expressed his sentint.
Only, his perspective was quite different from Lotson’s.
The Ancestor Heavenly Master left as quietly as he had appeared, waving his sleeve without a cloud in tow.
Yet he left behind many mysteries.
Those who speak in riddles should all die!
