Chapter 839: Chapter 17: Origins Chapter 839: Chapter 17: Origins “Soone from the Supre Council has co to fetch you.”

Dean Frist said indifferently, focusing his attention on tending to his tea.

Truth be told, Dean Frist felt quite a lack of accomplishnt; he had thought it would take so effort to persuade Link to agree.

But as it turned out, before he could even exert any pressure, Link had already agreed.

At the very least, he would have liked to feel a bit more involved in the matter of the parallel universe’s deity civiliation’s return delegation.

Hmm…

After his promotion to a Level Seven Great Sage, Dean Frist’s personality had beco much more unconstrained, with plenty of mutterings in his heart.

Perhaps it was a genetic trait of the Diomand Family to beco younger with age.

“Then I’ll be waiting.”

Although Link wanted to resolve his karma as soon as possible, he was in no rush.

Being overly eager was not the way to do business; there was no need to be so impatient.

Of course, he wouldn’t put on any airs either.

When the person sent by the Supre Council arrived, he would just follow along.

With so ti still at hand, Link seized the opportunity to ask Dean Frist a few questions.

Mainly about so aspects of his own creation, the Construction Wizard Sect, where he had always struggled to find definitive answers due to the breadth and depth of his knowledge.

Dean Frist, along with the two Level Eight Great Sages behind him, placed a high value on Link’s Construction Wizard Sect.

Although as a Fourth Level Sage, he couldn’t offer much help to Ravensmouth College or the Diomand Family in the grand sche of things.

But the fact that Link Grande received intense attention from the parallel universe’s deity civilization and had a deep bond with the reincarnated Saint of Nostrodamus was enough to prove that no amount of attention was too much for Link.

After hearing Link’s questions, Dean Frist took a long mont to ponder before answering, ensuring the advice he provided would be of help.

“Thank you, Dean.”

A Level Seven Great Sage was indeed a Level Seven Great Sage.

Even though Dean Frist was a pure traditional Elental Wizard, who had not studied other sects.

The research and insights he had on many issues were of great value and worthy of emulation.

This lesson wasn’t sothing just anyone could listen in on whenever they wanted.

Link’s thanks were heartfelt and sincere.

After the Q&A session, the two of them chatted casually for a while before Link finally took his leave.

On his way back, Link was confident that the college had passed its most difficult phase and would no longer be in as awkward a position as it had been in the previous two months.

After all, the Tower of the Great Sage Mitchell had already “moved” in its entirety, embarking on an expedition to the parallel universe.

Inside the Ravensmouth District, all the various powers one after another were too busy paying tribute to the new boss to dare cause any trouble.

Beyond the Ravensmouth District, across the West Coast and even throughout the Wizard World, those wizards and powers who had once troubled Ravensmouth College, after having vented their frustrations, also stopped targeting the college.

Magic Stone is innocent.

Continuous opposition would only result in mutual detrint without any benefit.

The Supre Council would not indefinitely sit back and watch such internal strife continue.

“What did the Dean want to talk to you about?”

Upon returning ho, Jasmine, holding her daughter lia, greeted him with concern.

“It’s about the parallel universe.”

Link extended his arms to take his daughter, cradling her in his arms, and replied truthfully, “The deity civilization has sent a return delegation, Mr. Xu Jing is the ambassador, and they wish to see .”

“Mr. Xu Jing?”

Having beco Link’s wife, Jasmine had learned many things from him.

Including his experiences in the Human Immortal Martial World.

She was not unfamiliar with the personage of “Mr. Xu Jing.”

“When will you go to see him?”

“The Supre Council has sent soone to escort , I’ll follow the Council’s arrangents.”

“I see.”

Jasmine’s brow tensed slightly, as the Prophecy characteristic of the God Devouring Worm ca into play.

She foresaw that this trip Link was embarking on would again take at least ten days to half a month before he could return ho.

Looking at her daughter sleeping peacefully, Jasmine bit her lip, her gaze becoming distant.

Ordinary human won are ready for intercourse two months after giving birth.

As a Third Level Wizard, Jasmine’s body had fully recovered just two days after giving birth.

Yet, Link, citing health concerns, had been restraining himself.

During the past two months, Jasmine’s focus had been more on her daughter, so she did not make any demands.

Now, with the heartless Link about to abandon mother and daughter for a lively ti in the colorful world outside, would she let him go without first draining him dry?

Jasmine would always rember that Elise Clark was at the Supre Council – and she was an ambassador of the five-person mission to the parallel universe.

The hospitality for the return delegation of the deity civilization would undoubtedly involve Elise Clark.

On this trip to et Mr. Xu Jing, it would be impossible for Link to avoid contact with Elise Clark.

So, even though Jasmine and Elise had a close relationship with frequent contact, she was not about to let her guard down against that Green Pond tactic.

With that thought, Jasmine called for the intelligent steward, instructing it to look after lia.

Then she took Link’s hand and led him upstairs.

The bathroom, the large bed, the windowsill, in front of the dressing mirror.

Nearly frenzied.

In pain and pleasure.

The next day.

Link walked out of the house feeling refreshed, leaving Jasmine at ho, exhausted and yet to recover, to take care of their daughter.

The team sent by the Supre Council to pick him up had already arrived at Dean Frist’s place, so Link had to attend to official matters.

Considering the attention Link had attracted recently, Dean Frist, concerned for Link’s safety, assigned him two “bodyguards”:

One was an acquaintance and the other was also an acquaintance.

One was Fletcher Domingo, a Level Five Sage, who had a brief working history with Link; the other was Lady Lisandra.

Hmm…

For that, Link could only thank Dean Frist for his kindness but did not place his own safety in Lady Lisandra’s hands.
