Chapter 837: Chapter 16 Causality Chapter 837: Chapter 16 Causality There are things in this world that just can’t always go as one wishes.

Conservation of energy, conservation of character, everything conserves.

Balance exists among all things.

With Ravensmouth College having made such a spectacle and reaped such benefits, how could those Wizards and Wizard Forces that were played for fools just let it go?

The spoils were beyond their grasp.

But they could certainly seek revenge and vent their anger.

And so, the situation Ravensmouth College faced suddenly took a turn for the worse.

The Mitchell District, now renad as Ravensmouth District, and the Tower of Great Sage Mitchell were ordered by the Supre Council to relocate to the Parallel Universe within a given ti fra.

However, the massive Inner Tower of Great Sage Mitchell had a deeply entrenched influence that couldn’t possibly be dismantled in a few days.

Hearts are fickle, and not everyone is willing to follow the dood Great Sage Mitchell to start anew in a Parallel Universe.

Moreover, there was the example of Cowell Ludville as a precedent.

Before his allegiance to Ravensmouth College, Cowell had spent so much ti at the level six sage tier, but shortly after his discreet defection, he ascended to a Level Seven Great Sage.

It was obvious to the discerning eye that while Walters had long been striving for Level Seven Great Sage status using his own resources, the resources needed for Rosenthal and Cowell’s promotions ca from the bounty that Ravensmouth College had received from the Supre Council, allocated for promoting Seventh-level witches to Level Eight Wizards.

Resources ant for a promotion from level seven to level eight could, if divided, support four or five individuals’ ascension from level six sage to Level Seven Great Sage.

So Wizards within the Inner Tower of Great Sage Mitchell were restless, seeking to defect to Ravensmouth College.

But Ravensmouth College was currently focused on swiftly taking over Ravensmouth District and, without necessity, didn’t want to provoke the Great Sage Tower, so they largely ignored such advances.

Even so, the takeover process was anything but smooth.

The Tower of Great Sage Mitchell brazenly took the stance it could leave, but before doing so, it must pillage everything within reach.

This stance and behavior were not sothing Ravensmouth College or the Supre Council was afraid to acknowledge.

If you find displeasing, it rely amounts to the prospect of another battle.

What is there for the barefoot to fear from those wearing shoes?

As the new boss of Ravensmouth District, Ravensmouth College had to step in to protect the interests of the Wizard Organization Forces underneath from the exploitation of the forr boss.

As a result, conflicts of varying scales broke out one after another.

The process of Ravensmouth College’s takeover of Ravensmouth District advanced, little by little, through the difficulties.

It never rains but it pours.

Just at this mont, Ravensmouth College was hit by the first wave of retaliation from the played Wizards.

Under the signs from three Ninth Level Intelligence chanism Wizards, the supplies for Ravensmouth College’s Interstellar Fleet were restricted.

Or more precisely, cut off.

Of course, Ravensmouth College had its own Intelligent chanism production bases, trained nurous Alchemists and Alchemy Masters, and also had reserves.

For a short while, the fleet’s supplies could continue.

But over ti, it beca increasingly uncertain.

After all, the number of Ravensmouth College’s Sage-Level Legion and Great Sage-Level Legion was no small figure.

Dean Frist wasn’t most worried about the Interstellar Fleet’s supplies.

As a last resort, he could halt the expansion of power, engage in a period of internal circulation, and promote economic exchange between Ravensmouth College and the various worlds within Ravensmouth District.

What Dean Frist feared most was Ravensmouth College being marginalized in the forthcoming exploration of the Parallel Universe and mutual aid with the Divine Civilization World.

There’s no such thing as Murphy’s Law in the Wizard World.

But still, the more one fears sothing, the more likely it is to happen; misfortunes never co singly.

Ravensmouth College’s trade, cooperation, and exchanges beyond Ravensmouth District were targeted one after another.

A loose alliance against Ravensmouth College, born out of shared animosity, spontaneously ford and launched its initiatives.

The close friends of Great Sage Mitchell, allies and intimate partners of the Inner Tower of Great Sage Mitchell seized the opportunity to escalate their retaliation against Ravensmouth College.

Ravensmouth College not only took the position of the Inner Tower of Great Sage Mitchell but also forced the Inner Tower to hastily dispatch to the Parallel Universe; in doing so, they severely hard the interests of those Wizard Organization Forces.

Suddenly, Ravensmouth College was mired in deep muck.

Dean Frist was utterly swamped with problems.

If he couldn’t extricate the College from this quagmire before the start of the official Supre Council-organized action for exploring the Parallel World and the mutual aid with the civilizations there,

then Ravensmouth College would have to beco a stay-behind organization to cope with the Divine Civilization World.

Not only would they miss out on the spoils but also would have to fight a strenuous battle.

In such an atmosphere, Link truly rested for a considerable period.

For two whole months, Link remained in the Holand of the Wizard World, accompanying Jasmine and their daughter lia.

The family of three lived in harmonious joy, their life blissful and fulfilled.

Link took the opportunity to imrse himself deeply, consolidating his knowledge, identifying gaps, and contemplating the future developnt of the Construction Wizard Sect.

As a sect, of course, it couldn’t consist of only Link alone.

The 1.0 and 1.5 versions of Construction were easy to promote, with many Wizards both within Ravensmouth College and in Shadow City eager to integrate Construction.

After all, it was an extra boost, not much different from Intelligent chanisms, Magic Tools, or Potions.

But with the 2.0 version, transitioning into a Construction Wizard, 99 out of 100 people would have their reservations.

Even within the “Do Anything Freely,” even the Brotherhood Group, Social Phobia Group, and the second generation core mbers felt this way.
