Chapter 701: Chapter 202: The Riddle Man, Big Brawl_2

However, he couldn’t beco complacent.

Link still needed to follow his plan and continue moving forward.

Before pouring his energy into data and docunts, Link sent a special email to Dean Frist, updating him on the progress of the fourth-ring set.

Also, he sent over a detailed design of the “Wish” set in an encrypted file.

After sending the email, Link pulled up data and docunts he had been collecting on collaborative spells and combination spells, and began reading carefully.

According to the feedback from the Palo Sage army, the resonance amplification of the “Barbaric” series Construction was effective, but still had many issues. It was far less flexible and controllable than a wizard’s collaborative/combination spell.

...

If Link’s ambitions for the series Construction resonance amplification were only about training a powerful Servant Battalion, then this level was enough.

However, Link’s ultimate goal in the “Construction” system was always to establish a new wizard sect.

Therefore, he must strive for perfection in all aspects to achieve the best.

Since the resonance amplification was much inferior to the combination spell, he simply needed to make improvents by referencing the combination spell.

It would be best if he could enhance the original and exceed it.

If he temporarily couldn’t, he could still make up for the shortcomings, so that the resonance amplification of the series Construction would not have obvious defects.

Moreover, a deep study of collaborative/combination spells would also help Link build his own main forces.

A main force that could not cast combination spells, could that still be called a main force?

While Link was engrossed in reading, his personal intelligence device vibrated.

Link lit up the screen and found a summons from Dean Frist.

The location was the college’s public inter-dinsional teleportation portal.

Not daring to delay, he marked the unread docunts, said goodbye to Jasmine, and drove straight to the place where he was summoned.

“You’re quick.”

Dean Frist, standing in front of the teleportation portal, saw Link rushing over and teased him.

“The dean summoned , I didn’t dare to delay.”

Link acted as if he hadn’t heard the tease and replied seriously.

“Ha ha…”

Dean Frist laughed, pointing at Link, “You, young man, have thick skin.”

“Learning from the dean.”

Link plucked up the courage and teased him back.

Dean Frist was not offended, on the contrary, he seed quite pleased.

Being in high places can be solitary.

Other than a few peers, he often had no one to joke with.

That Link Grande could act like this was very much to his liking.

“Co, I’ll take you to a place to watch a good show.”

Dean Frist stopped joking and brought up serious matters, taking the lead into the teleportation portal.

Link hurriedly followed.

After the familiar spaceti extraction sensation ended, Link found himself in an unfamiliar space region.

With a thought, his Destiny Witchcraft ignited, and he had the star version of the battle armor, which combined defense and life support functions, covered his body for protection.

“Do not speak, just watch quietly.”

The voice of Dean Frist rang in Link’s ears, admonishing him.

Link silently nodded, indicating that he understood.

Dean Frist made a light swipe with his right hand.

A non-reflective screen appeared in front of them.

On the screen was a live chaotic battle.

A dozen sage-level wizards moved back and forth in a Void Region specially created as a battlefield at a speed that Link’s eyes couldn’t catch.

They brought forth exceedingly powerful attack spells.

If there was no Void Region to contain the battle, all celestial bodies within the war star region would suffer.

They might not all be shattered, but the losses would be severe.

Noticing Link’s dilemma, Dean Frist made another light swipe with his right hand.

The image on the screen then went into slow-motion play mode.

Only then could Link see clearly.

Of the sage-level wizards in the chaotic battle, Link didn’t recognize a single one.

However, from the style of their clothing, so information can be deduced.

Three sages of the Tower of the Great Sage Mitchell collaborated, struggling against eight sages belonging to the Fla and tal Trading Company and the White Tower Alliance.

Even though they were at a disadvantage, the three sages from the Great Sage’s Tower remained incredibly calm and composed.

In contrast, the eight sages from the Fla and tal Trading Company and the White Tower Alliance, who were in the lead, seed quite desperate.

For so unknown reason, the eight sages were eager to end the battle and defeat the three sages from the Great Sage’s Tower.

After understanding the battle situation, Link’s mind began to churn, filled with one hypothesis after another.

Dean Frist wouldn’t bring him to watch this unrelated lee for no reason.

Recently, the only thing Link was involved in, which related to the Great Sage’s Tower, the Fla and tal Trading Company, and the White Tower Alliance, was the seizure of the saint’s inheritance.

So, was this sage lee a follow-up to the seizure of the saint’s inheritance?

If the conjecture was correct, then, what about Shadow City?

Link very clearly rembered that Shadow City had submitted to the Great Sage’s Tower at the last mont.

Not only did they offer a cargo hold of supplies, but they also handed over their own wizards.

Having gone this far, Link didn’t believe that Shadow City could remain uninvolved and not participate in this sage lee.

Just as he was thinking, three more sages appeared on the Light Screen and joined the lee.

These three sages ca from Shadow City and stood on the side of the Great Sage’s Tower.

With the intervention of fresh troops, the battlefield situation gradually balanced out.

The eight sages from the Fla and tal Trading Company and the White Tower Alliance beca even more impatient seeing this.

With Link’s current judgnt, he could tell that as long as the six sages from the Great Sage’s Tower and Shadow City held on for a while longer, they could potentially turn the tables.

He wondered what the sages from the Fla and tal Trading Company and White Tower Alliance were so anxious about.

Link turned his focus back to the battle, his attention completely focused.

This was a rare opportunity, and he never knew when he might witness a lee between sages again.

Link had always been studying the Rule Power, especially the rule of the gravity field, and trying to create a fourth-ring witchcraft of his own.

Being able to observe this battle was of great help in this regard.

A battle between sage-level wizards couldn’t end in a short ti unless the difference in power was significant.

In the blink of an eye, over an hour had passed.

Both sides were still at a stalemate, neither able to conquer the other.

However, as ti passed, the six sages from the Great Sage’s Tower and Shadow City were increasingly composed, while the eight sages from the Fla and tal Trade Society and the White Tower Alliance grew more agitated.

This puzzled Link, who hoped to find answers later.

After a while, the eight sages from the Fla and tal Trading Company and the White Tower Alliance suddenly stopped their attack, withdrawing a significant distance beyond the attack range of the six sages from the Great Sage’s Tower and Shadow City.

Seeing this, Dean Frist promptly touched the Light Screen.

In the space where sound shouldn’t have been transmitted, a live broadcast suddenly sounded.

A sage from the White Tower Alliance loudly declared, “We stop the fight. Na your price. What do you need for you to release the hostage?”

Ragnar Walters, the leader among the three sages from the Great Sage’s Tower, scoffed at this, “You want to fight, then fight. You don’t want to fight, then don’t. Who do you think you are to command ?”

As soon as he finished speaking, Ragnar Walters advanced aggressively on his own.

Having been on the defensive for so long, Ragnar was getting impatient.

The other two sages from the Great Sage’s Tower, familiar with Ragnar’s temperant, promptly followed.

The three sages from Shadow City, unfamiliar with Ragnar’s style, were a beat late.

However, this inadvertently led to a staggered attack rhythm.

The sages from both sides were once again entangled in battle.

At that mont, Dean Frist waved his right hand, turned off the Light Screen, and turned to ask, “Do you understand now?”

“I don’t understand.”

Link answered truthfully.

Dean Frist chuckled, “It’s okay if you don’t understand, just rember it, and think about it slowly later.”

Having said that, Dean Frist summoned a teleportation portal, leading Link back to the academy’s headquarters.

“Go back and think about it carefully.”

Only after reminding Link again did Dean Frist leave.

Standing on the platform of the inter-dinsional teleportation portal, Link pondered for a long ti but still didn’t understand.

He wondered why Dean Frist had suddenly brought him to watch such a sage lee.

He really wanted to beat the riddler to death!
