Chapter 559: Chapter 154: Dates? _3

Uh…

An undecided Link, worrying over what to choose, knew nothing about the potential outcos.

After considering for quite a while, his eyes were beginning to tire, yet he still couldn’t make up his mind.

He truly wanted them all, each one imnsely useful!

“Dean, you’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you?”

Link snapped out of it, uttering his complaint with a grimace on his face, “Did I just try to be a bit cunning?”

Sotis, acting the fool can help to close the distance with the big boss.

This strategy must be used wisely, at the right ti, and under the right conditions; not simply applied indiscriminately.

The art of using this technique, resides in the person’s intentions.

“Exactly.”

Dean Frist smiled, “That’s why I am also playing so tricks now.”

“You’re doing this on purpose!”

Hearing this, Link protested again.

Despite complaining, his hands were busy claiming the “Lark” interstellar battleship, the depleted world core, and the Insect Race Nest Seed.

Then he took a longing look at the “Phantom Coupe” and the large-caliber star-annihilating cannon.

After gazing for a while, he gave Dean Frist a pitiful look.

As if to say, give one more, just one more.

Regrettably, Dean Frist was quite principled and put the two remaining items back into the drawer.

Seeing this, Link imdiately stopped acting the fool and said seriously, “Dean, when should Jasmine Kidman and I report to the main branch of the academy?”

“Call your little girlfriend over, and we can leave right away.”

Dean Frist seed to be in a good mood today and was actually teasing Link.

Looked like the news about Link Grande having a little girlfriend nad Jasmine Kidman had already gotten around.

One wonders who the gossiper was.

Hearing about Link’s suspicion would probably make Jasmine, who was hurrying over to the dean’s office after receiving the ssage from the office’s computer, chuckle along the way.

Soon enough, Jasmine Kidman knocked on the Dean’s office door.

“Let’s go.”

Dean Frist got up and without any apparent action, there was a flash of light, and the three disappeared from his office.

When Link and Jasmine got accustod to the sudden spatial shift, they found themselves standing in front of an inter-dinsional teleportation portal.

This portal stood within a dod hall, the size of a regular door.

Dean Frist was the first to walk through the portal, with Link and Jasmine quickly following.

The familiar spaceti extraction sensation occurred.

This teleportation process seed to be unusually long, as if there were several transfers.

It felt about four to five tis as long as previous teleportations.

Being in the middle of teleportation, the flow of ti was hard to discern.

When they finally managed to stabilize their minds and bodies, Link and Jasmine found themselves in a garden full of blooming flowers.

Ahead of them was a clear, pure lake.

A pavilion was suspended above the center of the lake.

In the pavilion, there sat a man and a woman, both young and good-looking.

But after just one look, Link and Jasmine didn’t dare look again.

Their intuition and premonition skills were rather formidable, none better than the other.

Both sensed that another glance might bring about calamity.

Even now, the cold sweat poured down, feeling as if they had two large knives against their necks, ready to execute them at any mont.

“Enough, don’t scare the children.”

Great Sage Seuss glared at Great Sage Revo, who had deliberately exerted a bit of pressure, “You’re already old, yet you’re still picking on these teenagers. Your great-granddaughter suffered a little, but only because of her inadequate ability. Is that even a big deal?”

“Hmph.”

Great Sage Revo retorted with raised eyebrows, “So what if I can’t bear to see my great-granddaughter taken advantage of? Can’t handle that, can you?”

Great Sage Seuss had no intention of appeasing Great Sage Revo, who was acting petulant for no apparent reason. He wet his finger with clean tea water and flicked it towards a sweating Link and Jasmine.

The tea water sprinkled onto Link and Jasmine, revitalizing their spirits instantly.

It helped them overco their fear and return to their normal state.

“Frist, take them to get settled.”

Great Sage Seuss ordered, “Now that they’re here for advanced studies, they should focus on it. The storms outside can’t reach in here.”

He paused and added, “Having high inspiration isn’t always a good thing. During the study period, learn how to control it, so you won’t be easily manipulated like today.”

“Aren’t you going to thank Great Sage Seuss?”

Dean Frist reminded them from the side.

“Thank you, Great Sage Seuss.”

Coming to their senses, Link and Jasmine gratefully spoke in unison.

Then, Dean Frist took Link and Jasmine to follow through the proper advanced study procedures.

In less than ten minutes, all the procedures were completed.

“Study well and in two years, I’ll co and get you.”

Dean Frist left that advice and hurriedly departed.

With their newly issued personal computers from the main branch of the Academy, Link and Jasmine followed the map to find the villa gifted by Dean Frist.

After using the badge to open the seal and entering the villa, they sat down and fell silent.

The two of them stared at each other without a word.

The feeling of having their lives under soone else’s control…

It was truly an unbearable feeling!
