“I have a blanket here, the one I bought. The heating here is quite good, it should be enough. But it might still not be enough…” Angelina considered.
“How about… We make do and share a blanket.” Wang Ye suggested with a smile.
It was a nice thought, but unfortunately, Angelina didn’t agree…
After all, their relationship hadn’t progressed to that point yet.
“We are going to the supermarket anyway to buy so stuff, we can just get it there.” Angelina walked over to Wang Ye and replied.
Wang Ye tapped his forehead as if just rembering it, “Right! Let’s hurry up then, it’s getting dark.”
The supermarket they were planning to go to was just north of the dormitory. It was quite close from the dormitory, but it’s a bit of a distance from here.
Yet taking a taxi there would be even more of a hassle!
They had to walk a reasonable distance along the tree-lined road to reach the main road and then wait for a taxi.
The main problem being that the road outside was not a main road and taxis weren’t abundant. So, there’s no guarantee of getting a cab…
They decided it was better to just walk there and take a taxi back after shopping, the area around the supermarket was busier and taxis would be easier to co by.
Wang Ye started to miss his Lexus. Even though people online jokingly called it an “old man’s joy ride,” it was quite perfect for getting around in the city.
If he had a car now, he wouldn’t have gone through all this trouble…
However, the cars sold here in Russia were quite affordable. Once he had earned so money, he could buy a car which would make life easier.

Both of them walked to the supermarket without feeling tired.
After all, being in their twenties, they were quite energetic. Besides, they had moved into a new house today which had brought a touch of excitent to their lives…
At this point, both were comfortably chatting. Angelina was curious about the company and asked Wang Ye, “Is it easy to work as a study abroad interdiary? I heard that most parts of China are quite poor, are there really that many families sending their children abroad for studies? I suppose, like you who could afford to study abroad must co from a wealthy family, right?”
Angelina knew that all students studying abroad, like Wang Ye, paid for their own expenses.
Although Friendship University wasn’t expensive, when considering tuition fees, living expenses, plane tickets and miscellaneous items, a student would need to spend three to four thousand US dollars a year.
In 2001, in her eyes and those of many other foreigners, China was still a poor and underdeveloped country…
Wang Ye smiled and patiently explained.
“It might be different from what you have in mind. China has been open to the world for over a decade now and has developed rapidly. As for families like mine, we are just slightly above average, even in small cities, far from wealthy. The truly wealthy families send their children to study in places like the UK, US, Canada, Australia and their annual expenses are even much higher…”
After hearing Wang Ye’s explanation, Angelina was astonished.
However, she felt assured about the future prospects of the company.
As long as the many families in China were wealthy and willing to send their children overseas, the company’s business should have a smooth run.
After all, she is completely reliant on the company for her future…

Arriving at the supermarket, they headed straight for the ho goods section.
Other things could wait, but bedding needed to be bought first!
Thankfully, even though Moscow’s winters were severely cold, the heating supplies were excellent. A thin blanket was all they needed for the night.
They each picked out a set of blankets, duvet covers and things of the sort and placed them in the shopping cart.
Once done with that, they decided to get so groceries as there were no restaurants or diners in the vicinity of their apartnt and they had to cook their own als.
“Misha, do you prefer fish or beef? We can buy so and I can cook for you when we get back. I’m pretty good at making grilled steak and fried fish fillets. You might like it.” Angelina already slipped into the “housewife” role, asking Wang Ye’s preferences as she picked out items.
Anyone who didn’t know them would think they were newlyweds…
Speaking of which, they were quite a match. Wang Ye was over one eighty centiters tall and Angelina wasn’t short either, standing at an impressive one seventy-five, with a slim figure, she didn’t appear shorter than Wang Ye.
They could easily be described as a golden couple…
While they were discussing and shopping, Wang Ye heard soone calling his na.
He turned his head to see Nalan Yaqi, Wang Dan, Li Xiaoyun and a few other girls not far away.
They too had shopping carts and seed to be there for shopping.
It was quite normal, everyone frequently visited this supermarket.
However, now, bumping into them felt sowhat strange…
Wang Ye said to Angelina, “I see so classmates, I’ll go and have a short chat. You can continue shopping. Feel free to pick anything, I’ll love anything you cook!”
He walked over to where Nalan Yaqi and the others were standing and smiled at them asking, “You guys are also shopping?”
No one answered his question, all the girls were staring intently at Angelina…
“Hey… what are you looking at?” Wang Ye asked, laughing.
“That woman… she’s the ‘beauty teacher’ from our preparatory course, right!” Nalan Yaqi seed to have recognized her.
After all, Angelina was quite popular among the Chinese students, known to everyone as a stunner!
“Yeah, what about it?” Wang Ye asked nonchalantly.
“You guys… how did you end up together? You’re planning to shop together, cook together?” Li Xiaoyun asked curiously.
“Wait, not just that. There are a lot of blankets, bedding and even pots and pans in their shopping cart! What’s going on?”
Nalan Yaqi had sharp eyes and quickly noticed that many items in the shopping cart weren’t things that one would buy on a daily basis.

After a mont of hesitation, Wang Ye revealed the truth.
“I’ve moved out and am renting a place with Angelina. We just moved there today, so we’re buying so necessities.”
At once, all the girls opened their mouths in shock, staring at Wang Ye with disbelief.
Co-renting?
That’s like living together!
The issue being, how was Wang Ye so quick!
They had just gotten to Moscow together and while Wang Dan and Li Xiaoyun were still struggling with their daily Russian, Wang Ye already scored the ‘beauty teacher’!
That was just too unbelievable!
“You… you guys are living together!” Nalan Yaqi pointed at Wang Ye, her face expressing complicated emotions.
“No misunderstanding here, we are co-renting, not living together! Also, Angelina resigned from her teaching position and will be working at our company from henceforth.” Wang Ye clarified.
By “our company” clearly referring to Qingyun Study Abroad Service Company, as both Nalan Yaqi and Wang Dan were shareholders of the company, sharing this with them wasn’t a problem.
Nalan Yaqi frowned, expressing her disapproval, “She joined the company without consulting Wang Dan or myself. Am I allowed to object?
“Objections denied!” Wang Ye said smiling.
