In fact, both Edith and Callum were incredibly jealous of each other. Edith was especially jealous of Callum holding Arabella’s hand like a real fiancé, while Callum was also starting to get annoyed at his fiancée openly embracing his enemy’s hand. However, right now, all they could do was act cool to each other to avoid suspicion.
"Wow, I didn’t expect my brother to look so handso today! Today’s engagent party is for Edith and ."
Callum laughed awkwardly as he looked at Arabella. "Is this engagent party just for you guys? Even though you guys announced it on social dia, I actually wanted to show off my relationship with my fiancée."
Arabella smiled brightly, kissing Callum enthusiastically on the cheek. "You’re so romantic, Callum. Hearing you confidently want to show off our relationship makes love you even more."
"Of course. You and I look so sweet on social dia, so I’ll definitely keep it up so everyone can support our relationship."
"Since news about us has been trending on social dia several tis, it seems like you’re getting more confident."
"I don’t want everyone to be disappointed in us."
Edith was so fed up with Callum’s overly sweet words for other won, especially the woman she hated so much. Even though it was just an act, it was too much for Edith. After everything was over, she wanted to punish Callum to the fullest for making him jealous. For now, she just wanted to get revenge on Callum for making him jealous too. What made her even more angry was that Callum seed happy to let Arabella kiss his cheek.
"Cliff, I want today’s engagent party to be an unforgettable party in my life," Edith said while winking at her lover.
Cliff laughed heartily as he kissed Edith on the cheek, making it Callum’s turn to be consud by jealousy. "We can’t lose to my brother. We’re the stars of this party. We can’t let another couple take our place."
Arabella’s gaze was fixed on Edith’s overly radiant appearance, making her incredibly jealous. She was actually jealous because Edith was being fought over by two handso n at once, while she could only stand there like a fool.
"Edith, you look so beautiful in this dress. Did Cliff pick it out for you?"
Edith smiled shyly as she glanced at Callum, who looked a little angry. "Actually, I was the one who—"
"Of course it was my choice," Cliff quickly cut Edith off, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "She looks perfect today because I suggested this dress."
"I see. You’re no less romantic than Callum, Cliff."
"You look beautiful today too, Arabella," Edith complinted with a forced smile. She was actually bothered by Arabella’s appearance in the sexy dress that exposed her cleavage and thighs.
"Thank you, Edith. It was actually Callum who suggested I wear this dress. He really likes seeing look like this."
Callum hoped that Edith wouldn’t hate him even more because everything Arabella said was untrue. He felt like scolding Arabella right now for lying to Edith so that she would make her jealous. Just to protect his reputation, he still forced himself to put on an act.
"I hope you can maintain your relationship," Edith said in a slightly curt tone.
"Of course. Callum and I are getting married soon, just like you guys. Even though we didn’t have an engagent party like you guys, Callum and I are more romantic than you guys, actually."
Cliff brought his lips close to his fiancée’s earlobe. "Speaking of which, how about we greet the other guests one by one?"
Edith nodded, resuming her fiancé’s embrace. "Of course. I’d like to et them too."
As the main stars greeted each guest one by one, Callum couldn’t contain his anger any longer. He imdiately looked away and slowly released Arabella’s hand.
"Are you angry, Callum?" Arabella asked sarcastically.
"You don’t have to make fun of !" Callum said coldly.
"You can see it for yourself. Edith doesn’t care about you anymore. You’d better forget about her than hurt yourself even more."
"You don’t need to interfere with my problems!"
"I have the right to interfere because you are my fiancé!"
Callum rolled his eyes, flicking his shirt collar. "Okay, I’ll take your advice! But I don’t want you to make fun of Edith either! Don’t ruin this engagent party just for your own selfish reasons!"
"Don’t worry. I won’t ruin the plans they’ve worked so hard to make." Arabella pressed her lips to her fiancé’s soft cheek. "Besides, everyone’s been more focused on our relationship because of the recent viral news."
"Arabella, I won’t treat you harshly again as long as you do what I want! I don’t want you to be like Edith who disappointed !"
"I’m still angry with Cliff because he was just playing with before. I never thought he’d want to go back to Edith after the way he’d abused before."
Edith and Cliff returned to the engagent party again. Afterward, they greeted each guest one by one like a real married couple. Everyone attending the engagent party was incredibly jealous. In reality, Edith was forced to act a little over the top to get revenge on Callum for angering her.
"Cliff, so you still love Edith! I thought your relationship was truly over!" exclaid a man who looked younger than Cliff.
"Now I don’t want to lose Edith a second ti. Previously, we couldn’t continue our relationship due to a misunderstanding. But now that everything is over, I confidently want to marry her."
"If I see Edith’s sincere gaze on you, I’m sure your marriage will go smoothly."
Edith smiled shyly as she gazed at Cliff with sparkling eyes. "I was so childish back then. Now I’ve realized my true feelings. I’ve only ever loved Cliff."
"Really? Are you sure about your feelings now? Weren’t there rumors that you were having an affair with Callum?" The sexy woman smiled slyly at Edith.
