After a romantic dinner with Cliff, Edith was finally able to contact her fiancé via video call. Edith recounted her experience throughout the challenging day, especially during dinner when they discussed plans to stay at a hotel after the engagent party. She saw Callum’s anxious expression on the video call upon hearing this bad news. She was right; Callum was furious to hear it, worried that sothing unexpected would happen.
"Callum, are you okay?"
"I was actually really angry to hear that he wanted to sleep with you after the engagent party was over. I didn’t want a jerk like him to defile your body after he’d defiled so many won over the years."
"So, what should we do now? I can’t think straight after hearing that disgusting plan."
For a mont Callum snapped his fingers."Edith, I actually like his crazy idea now."
"What do you an? Weren’t you a bit nervous earlier?"
"If he’s already booked a hotel room for both of you, we might as well make the most of it. Have you forgotten my plan to set a trap for him and Arabella?"
Edith’s eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. "Don’t tell you’re trying to trap them into sleeping together!"
"It turns out your mindset is now the sa as mine."
"At first I thought you were going to set them up just to get them drunk together at the party and they would do sothing unexpected."
"That’s what I originally planned. But since Cliff’s up to sothing stupid, I’m sure I’ll go along with it."
Edith burst out laughing as she rolled around on the bed in delight. Callum laughed happily as he stared at his fiancée, who was so happy to do sothing evil for the first ti.
"You’re so cute when you laugh."
Edith imdiately sat upright, hugging a pillow. "I like seeing you laugh, too."
"Because we already know his evil plan the day after tomorrow. Now you don’t have to worry anymore. I’ll help you solve your problem."
"But, what if you get dragged into my trouble?"
"I’m totally fine."
"Okay, if you’re okay with it, I won’t stop you from helping ."
"In fact, I want to help you so that all this can be resolved quickly. I don’t like sleeping alone like I do now." His right hand seed to want to reach for the head of his beloved fiancé on the phone screen.
"I also miss sleeping and cuddling with you."

The day before the engagent party...
Edith still maintains her very wise deanor towards Cliff ahead of her engagent party. Although she increasingly feels that Cliff is annoying her, for the sake of her evil mission, she sacrifices her free ti just to et him. Cliff’s purpose in suddenly visiting her boutique is solely to discuss the matter of the invited guests who will be attending tomorrow’s party.
"Edith, would it be okay with you inviting a few people from your side to attend the engagent party tomorrow?"
Edith shook her head casually, embracing her lover’s hand tightly. "I don’t mind, really. Besides, I’ve never had any friends. All the guests I’ve invited are a few VIP clients who are already close to ."
A heavy sigh escaped his lips. "You’re so kind and beautiful, but I can’t believe you’ve been friendless all this ti."
"I think it’s better to have a few friends than a lot."
"Why? If you have lots of friends, won’t you be lonely?"
"I think it’s pointless if I have a lot of friends but they all betray . It’s better if I don’t have any friends in the first place. You can see for yourself, even though I don’t have any friends, I’m still happy."
Cliff stroked his lover’s head with a deep gaze. "I’ll always be your friend. I an, your life partner."
Edith smiled gracefully, taking her lover’s hands in hers. "Then, can you grant one request?"
"What request?"
"Because you will be my life partner, I want you not to betray one day."
Hearing his lover’s request made him laugh awkwardly. "Of course I won’t betray you. I’ll definitely grant this request. Is there anything more difficult?"
"That’s enough. I think that one request is very difficult."
"Is it because you were betrayed by Callum before?"
Edith likely wants to openly admit that Cliff betrayed her five years ago. However, she’s still feigning amnesia to facilitate her secret mission.
"Yes, I’m very disappointed in him because he promised he wouldn’t leave . But in reality, he’s been secretly cheating on . Especially since the recent news about his tryst at the lingerie boutique really angered ."
"Edith, at the engagent party tomorrow, I want you to forget about him. Even though he’s attending the party with Arabella tomorrow, they’re just doing it as a formality."
Edith continued to pout her lips as she stared at her nails. "That’s why I’m still traumatized. If you ever do the sa thing as Callum, I won’t forgive you, and I’ve decided I won’t marry anyone."
Cliff imdiately raised his right hand confidently. "Edith, I promise I won’t betray you. In fact, I’ve already booked a hotel room for us tomorrow. I want to prove that tomorrow I’m only focused on you."
Finally, Edith forced another laugh as she stroked Cliff’s head. "We’re having an engagent party tomorrow, and you’re already treating us like we’re already married."
"Of course, so Callum won’t steal you again. I want him to reflect on his mistakes forever."
Edith only dared to utter the evil words in her heart. Instead, she wanted Cliff to prepare himself now, because tomorrow she and Callum planned to trap Cliff and Arabella.
"Cliff, hearing you say that makes even more impatient for tomorrow’s party. I want to et all your friends, too."
"But, are you sure you can be friends with them? They all usually live abroad. Just to attend our engagent party, they all ca back to this city."
"That’s why I don’t want any problems with tomorrow’s engagent party. You’ve invited so many people, and I want it to be a beautiful mory for us."
