The next day, Edith drove Eliana to school. This ti, she t Callum, who was also driving his son to school. When she saw Callum in his suit, her heart imdiately fluttered. Even though they had only t the night before, she felt as if she had already fallen in love. She tried to maintain her professional deanor because she still held onto her principle of not falling in love easily with anyone, including Cliff.
"I didn’t expect you to drop your son off earlier than yesterday, Callum," Edith greeted with a friendly smile.
Callum also returned the gesture with a happy smile. He almost reached out to grab his girlfriend’s hand. If he hadn’t been thinking clearly, he would have grabbed it openly without a second thought.
"Because I just happened to deliver it early."
"By the way, starting today, I’ll be working at your house. You also happened to be at school early, so I wanted to chat with you."
"What do you want to talk about?"
Edith looked down shyly, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I wonder what Erdin likes. I’ve been taking Eliana out for ice cream. Would he mind eating ice cream with ?"
"He actually really likes ice cream. You should invite him to eat ice cream with you and your daughter."
"Then, what else does he like?"
"You can also take him to the playground. If he’s tired, you can just take him to my house. You can use any of the facilities in my house. Just think of my house as your ho."
"But why do you trust so easily? You’re a CEO, you should be wary of too."
Callum moved his lips closer to the red ones that had tempted him in the morning. "Because I can read your mind. You’re truly dependable."
Edith blinked nervously as she clutched her skirt. "Okay, I’ll pick Erdin up this afternoon."
"If my son is naughty, you must report him to ."
"Don’t worry, I can handle it. Besides, you hired as your secret nanny. I won’t let you down."

Callum still hadn’t had enough of his morning conversation with Edith. So, upon arriving at the office, he continued to pace back and forth, babbling. His assistant, who heard him, simply resigned himself to it, not daring to protest. Since Callum and Edith separated five years ago, Callum had rarely smiled and had always been known as a cold CEO. However, this was the first ti he had seen him smile since last night. He actually knew the reason, as he was finally able to et Edith after five years.
"I wish I could have bought more ti," Callum grumbled, ruffling his hair.
"Callum, I know you’re really happy to see your ex-girlfriend. But can you calm down for a mont?"
"Patrick, how can I calm down now? eting Edith after five years apart is a miracle for . I’ve finally found her."
"But why are you only now wanting to approach her? She never changed her boutique’s address. You could have co to her whenever you wanted."
"I could have t her. But the accident we had five years ago was no ordinary accident. Soone still wants to kill us. That’s why I didn’t want to et her until the ti was right. I didn’t expect Edith to choose the right school for our daughter."
"Actually, yesterday, when I was pretending to be a foreigner, I felt really weird. Especially when Edith looked at like a stranger, I felt like she wasn’t really Edith."
"Even if Edith doesn’t rember all of our monts, I won’t mind. I want to start over with her. If I truly love her, then Edith will be comfortable with , and she will definitely love ."
"Actually, I really support your relationship with Edith getting better. So, what about Arabella?"
Hearing the na of the woman he hated, his smile imdiately faded. He folded his arms and glared at his assistant with a grimace.
"The reason I made Edith my secret nanny was because I wanted to protect her from that woman. She’d been pressuring to marry her. I knew she was just trying to take advantage of ." A ragged breath escaped his lips. "Moreover, that woman was the first person to greet when I woke up. She claid to be my lover. I almost believed her."
Patrick patted his boss on the shoulder. "It’s a good thing you rember your past monts with Edith. If you had amnesia, I’m sure you would have married Arabella long ago."
"But when she admitted she was my girlfriend, I actually felt sothing was off. For so reason, I felt like Arabella wasn’t my girlfriend. I’ve known that from the start."
"Then, what if you tried it directly on Edith? Would Edith be sensitive?"
Callum shook his head slowly. "No. I’m sure Edith would think I’m crazy because I know her so well. She’s always been stubborn and thought I was weird when we first started dating."
"So, you’re still going to investigate Arabella secretly?"
"Because Arabella is the woman I wanted to marry five years ago. To this day, she’s been chasing and refusing to let go. If there was a way to get rid of her, I would have done it a long ti ago."
"Then, what about Cliff?"
"Actually, I still suspect him too. Especially since Edith admitted that she actually has a boyfriend."
"What?! Don’t tell Edith is dating Cliff again!"
Callum looked at his assistant with a mischievous smile. "This is your current assignnt. I want you to monitor Edith discreetly. If she really is dating Cliff, you must report it to ."
"But, it’s impossible for Edith to want to date that jerk."
"If Edith hadn’t already discovered Cliff’s true nature, she would have beco his girlfriend. Especially since Cliff has been the one talking to her so often."
Suddenly, a professional-looking woman entered the room. Callum and Patrick stopped their conversation and greeted the uninvited guest with forced smiles.
