Edith had suspected her love life wouldn’t run smoothly because it wasn’t easy for her to enjoy it without obstacles. Since most of her mories had returned, she looked at Cliff differently. While she usually greeted him warmly, she now treated him like a stranger. She rembered Cliff’s open affair with Arabella at the hotel while she was also sleeping with Callum. Furthermore, Cliff hadn’t admitted his mistake, making it impossible for her to forgive him to this day.

Her right hand clenched tightly. If she hadn’t had five years of amnesia, she would have blocked Cliff and forbidden him from taking care of Eliana. However, for now, she decided to pretend she still didn’t rember anything to protect Callum.

"What do I see you as?" Edith replied with a friendly smile.

"Normally, you’d smile imdiately whenever I ca to you. But now you treat like a stranger. Is it because Callum forced you to be his wife?"

Edith took Cliff’s hand, sat down on the sofa, and then lowered her head. "What a coincidence, I was actually going to talk to you about this."

"What do you want to talk about? You’re not usually this serious."

"Actually, the DNA test results are out and the results show that you are the biological father of my twins."

Cliff snapped his fingers enthusiastically. "As I thought, it’s proven that I’m the right person to be Eliana’s father."

"But, actually, I still want to ask you a question." A heavy sigh escaped his lips. "Why have you cared more about Eliana than Erdin all this ti? If Erdin were your son, you shouldn’t have let Callum take him away from you."

"Because Callum definitely wouldn’t give Erdin to . He’s so cruel and selfish. Actually I was really scared to face it. Even though Erdin is my son, he always claims he’s his. It’s like he’s blind."

Edith was more likely to be mocking Cliff for his blindness in wanting to take Erdin from Callum. She was actually growing increasingly fed up with Cliff’s words and wanted to get rid of him as soon as possible, because she was tired of dealing with a man who had betrayed her and acted hypocritically in front of her.

Cliff gripped his lover’s hands tightly. "Edith, I want to marry you. This ti, I definitely won’t let Callum take you away from again. I promise I’ll make your life happier, and you’ll never have to worry again. I have everything."

"Cliff, can I ask you for a long-term favor?"

"What kind of help?"

"Can you give so ti to think? Actually, I still don’t want to marry anyone."

Cliff’s face turned furious when he heard his ex-fiancé’s answer, which was exactly what he had expected. He knew she was now in love with Callum, but he still hadn’t wanted to admit it. He was determined to get revenge on Callum for stealing his girlfriend again.

"Why did you reject , Edith? Did Callum threaten you not to marry another man?"

"Why do you hate Callum so much? Is Callum really that bad of a man in your eyes?"

"Yes, even though he’s my stepbrother, he still wants to take my place. He’s a shaless child. And now she wants to take everything I have, including you."

Edith was actually very angry when she heard Cliff’s words because they were indirectly deaning her, but she still maintained her professional attitude.

"Even if you think he’s a bad person, I can’t marry you or him for the ti being. I don’t want to think about married life yet because I’m still traumatized by the accident I had five years ago."

"Then can’t you take Erdin away from him?"

"For now, I can’t just take Erdin. Erdin isn’t an object. But I won’t let Callum have Erdin for the rest of his life. Give a little more ti to disappoint Callum. Because I have plans for him."

Cliff laughed with satisfaction at his ex-fiancée’s cunning. His right hand slowly stroked her tiny head. "Okay, I’m curious as to what you’re planning. Could it be that you attended the ball with him because it was part of your plan?"

"Yes, even though I appeared to be complying, I actually felt uncomfortable. Seeing that the DNA test results proved you were the biological father of my twins, I certainly wouldn’t be blinded by Callum’s love anymore."

"Okay, then I’ll wait for you. I won’t propose too hastily."

"Sorry, I must have given you a disappointing answer."

"It’s okay. If I were you, it would be incredibly stressful. Instead, I should apologize for confusing you."

Edith was growing increasingly fed up with long conversations with Cliff. So, she decided to vent her nervousness by visiting her boyfriend at the hotel. Since they officially beca engaged, Edith had been excited about visiting the hotel, and this ti, she’d also brought her twins to visit their father. Edith hadn’t wanted to show off her little family in public, but now she could use the excuse that she worked as Erdin’s nanny.

When Edith entered the executive office with her twin children, she was warmly greeted by her lover. Quickly it closed the door of this workspace before everyone knew their true relationship.

"Edith, I didn’t expect you to bring the kids to too."

"Because they miss you so much too. Especially since it looks like you’ll be working overti today because your schedule is packed this evening."

Callum shook his head quickly. "No. In fact, I’ll try to get ho on ti today so I can play with you guys."

Eliana folded her arms. "Dad! I have howork today that involves you and Mom."

"Really? What howork is that?"

"Erdin and I have to draw our parents. There’s a family day event coming up at school."

Callum crouched down in front of his twins. "When is the family day event?"

"Next week," the twins answered in unison.

"Okay, I will definitely make ti to attend the family day event."

"Great! I love you so much, Dad!" Eliana cheered, hugging her father tightly.
