In the five years since he was separated from his girlfriend, this was the first ti Callum felt his heart pounding at the sound of her love. His cheeks instantly flushed, longing to hear those words again, as his girlfriend had always acted so arrogantly in front of him. What had caused his girlfriend’s behavior to beco so sweet in an instant? Had Edith always wanted to act like this around him, but her arrogance had always dominated her?

He’d always been jealous of Cliff, who was always treated so sweetly by Edith. However, it was truly unexpected that Edith actually defended him more than Cliff. If Edith acted like this in front of him, then there was nothing to worry about from now on.

"Did you really tell the truth earlier?"

"Of course. I’ve wanted to talk to you about this for a long ti. But seeing you continue to be bullied by Cliff, I’m not going to just keep quiet."

"But why did you act like you were so obedient to him earlier? Especially since you openly wanted to take a DNA test so you could get back with him."

"Because I don’t want you to get hurt."

Callum’s eyes widened and his mouth dropped open. "What am I hurt by?"

"Every ti you argue with Callum because of , you look sad and angry. I don’t like seeing you two fight because of . That’s why I want to do a DNA test, as he wants."

"But the DNA test results show that he is the biological father of the twins. Why do you still not want to go back to him?"

The corners of her lips lifted confidently. "I know the DNA test results were manipulated because it’s impossible for him to be Erdin and Eliana’s biological father. If he were, why would he let you take Erdin away from him? Plus, he’s never played with Erdin."

Callum kissed his lover’s cheek enthusiastically. "I knew you were so smart and cunning, even with amnesia. I was worried you’d fall into his trap so easily."

"Because I can tell the difference between you and him. You two are so easy to tell apart."

"What kind of example?"

"Even though you guys are very possessive, I like you more because you love sincerely."

"Then, what about him? Hasn’t he been helping you all these years?"

"I feel comfortable because he’s always been there for since I was hospitalized. But, for so reason, I can’t accept him as my boyfriend. I feel more comfortable with you because you’re always honest and true to yourself."

Callum couldn’t hold back the tears that continued to flow down his cheeks. Even though his girlfriend didn’t rember all the monts they’d shared in the past, this alone made him happy. This way, he wouldn’t have to worry about her running away just because soone instigated her.

"It wasn’t in vain that I gave you a gift at the dance party earlier."

"What gift did you actually give ? I’m still curious to this day."

"A true confession of love. I already consider you my fiancée."

Edith laughed happily at the phrase again, rolling over. However, on the other hand, she was still anxious, feeling that their relationship would definitely not work out. The accident they had experienced remained a mystery to this day.

Callum also rolled over with his lover, finally capturing her in his embrace. They exchanged their most beautiful smiles at close range, making their hearts race even faster.

"Callum, can I ask you a favor?"

"Of course. I will definitely help you."

"If anything happens to , you have to protect Erdin and Eliana."

"Why did you speak that so suddenly? Is there sothing still bothering you?"

"For now, I still have to pretend to be your secret nanny. I can’t act like your lover outside the house. If anyone forces to marry another man, I’ll hand Eliana over to you."

Callum hugged his lover even tighter, kissing her temple. "I definitely won’t let you marry another man, because I’ll go crazy if I don’t marry you."

"I don’t really want to marry another man either. I’m just preparing a backup plan in case of an ergency."

"But, I actually wanted to ask you a question. Is it true that you still don’t rember anything? For so reason, I still feel like there’s sothing strange about your behavior lately."

"Actually, my mory has started to co back recently."

"Really? Why didn’t you tell ?"

"Because I still can’t rember everything." Her lips curled into a pout. "But that doesn’t an I’m acting like this just because I rember. I’ve really liked you since before I regained my mory."

"But I’m curious. You’ve always been so strong around . Is it true that nothing’s wrong with you?"

Edith folded her arms. "I’d rather ask you now. Is sothing wrong with you? Why have you been keeping it bottled up inside all this ti?"

"Because I actually don’t want to make you worry."

"I thought you would keep quiet all this ti just because of that trivial matter!"

"I’ll tell you when I’m ready."

"Okay, then I’m going to sleep now. I want to have fun with you again tomorrow."

Callum smiled a mischievous smile, kissing his lover’s eyelid. "It’s unusual to hear you so enthusiastic about having fun with ."

"Because I feel happier if I always go on dates with you every holiday even if it’s just at ho."

"Then, would you like to swim with again tomorrow?"

Edith imdiately pinched her lover’s arm with so force. "I knew you wanted to devour again like yesterday! I didn’t expect you to be such a pervert!"

"This ti I want to swim with the kids."

"Don’t use a child’s na as an excuse just to devour !"

Callum pursed his lips. "And you’re the sa. You really enjoy being attacked by !"

Eventually, they fell asleep after a long conversation. Edith’s mories returned as she entered a sweet dream world. Tears welled up in her eyes as she saw herself happily on her past date with Callum.
