Callum was right. She was more likely the one being selfish, unaware of the real problem. Even her twins were smarter than her. Looking at their personalities, she noticed they were gradually becoming very similar to Callum’s, stubborn and possessive. From now on, she wasn’t allowed to return ho. She still had a lot of things to bring. Callum reasoned that for now, he had sent soone to fetch all the important things to bring ho.

Although she was still nervous about living in this luxurious ho, her twins seed happy to finally have a full set of parents. Edith was relieved to see her daughters happily playing with their father before sleep.

"My daughter, do you want to sleep? You look tired today," Callum asked, stroking his daughter’s head.

Eliana nodded. "But I want Daddy to read a fairy tale. I’m still not sleepy."

Callum held his little princess. "Okay, I’ll definitely read you a fairy tale."

Edith also accompanied her daughter before sleep. She sat on the edge of the bed with her boyfriend. Watching the sweet interaction between father and daughter made her even more reluctant to separate them. Was her decision to leave Callum the right one? If she had, would Eliana have cried all night?

In the middle of reading the fairy tale, Eliana looked up at her father with sparkling eyes. Her tiny hand reached out for her father’s. "Daddy, can I stay in this house forever?"

Callum glanced at his gloomy lover, then back at his little daughter. "Of course, you’re welco to stay here whenever you want. Of course I would love for you and your mother to live here because my house will be even more crowded."

"Really? Daddy promises?" Eliana held out his pinky finger.

"I promise." Callum intertwined his pinky with his daughter’s.

anwhile, Edith remained silent, unable to stand the current atmosphere being too sweet. If her daughter went that far, it would be even harder for her to separate from Callum. Whether tomorrow, the day after, or in the next few months, Callum would surely beco even more possessive of her. Despite her current role as a secret nanny, she didn’t want to get too involved in Callum’s life until she had all the answers to this strange riddle.

With her twins asleep, Edith decided to retire early to Callum’s room. She didn’t want to talk too much, as she had already talked about so much all day. Besides, because of her, Callum had to take the day off work. She felt bad for her selfishness, and Callum must be in trouble too.

Edith still didn’t dare look Callum in the eye, even though they had kissed quite intensely earlier. In fact, her heart was still pounding because she admitted she was happy to see Callum genuinely loving his twins.

"Why won’t you look at ?" His strong arms embraced his lover’s slender body.

"Do I have to answer your question?"

"If you don’t want to answer, I assu you really love ."

Edith was forced to turn around to look at her lover, who still looked so fresh, making her cheeks flush. This was why she refused to turn around, as she couldn’t bear to stare at his handso face, making it even harder for her to fall asleep.

"Why are you so annoying?" Edith complained, pursing her lips.

"Am I really that annoying in your eyes?"

"Because you have trapped in your trap now! You won’t let go ho."

Callum furrowed his brows. "Do I look like a bad person to you? Ever since you saw those shitty DNA test results, you’ve been acting all weird. You loved before."

"Who said I already love you?" Edith retorted nervously.

"If you don’t love , why are you willing to spend two days of your holiday at my house? And why do you still ask how I am every day?"

"Because you’ve been so good to all this ti, I should do the sa to you."

Callum smiled mischievously, moving his lips closer to the red lips in front of him. "Then let ask you a question. If your friend did the sa thing to you, would you treat them kindly?"

"I actually-"

"I knew it. You were only interested in ." Callum winked briefly. "I fall even more in love with you when you’re this adorable."

Edith stared at the ceiling, clutching the blanket nervously. "I think what you just said was just a joke. I still want to live with you, not because I already consider you my lover, but because the children are comfortable seeing us living together. I still want to be their secret nanny."

"Even though you deserve to be my lover more than my secret nanny."

This ti, Edith didn’t hesitate to flick her lover’s forehead to diffuse the tense atmosphere in the room. "If you tease again, I won’t hesitate to leave this house! I’ll take Erdin from you, too."

"I’m not afraid because you are Erdin’s biological mother."

The next day, Edith went to her boutique for work, looking gloomy, having had trouble sleeping all night. She was still unaccustod to sleeping with a handso man, even though she actually felt very comfortable talking to Callum before bed. Even though their conversation was full of argunts, she really liked talking to soone before sleep, as it kept her from being lonely.

Edith desperately hoped there would be no problems today. She returned to completing the assignnt she had delayed due to her day off yesterday. While she was revising a dress design sketch, soone suddenly entered the room.

Her eyes widened as she stared at Cliff, who was approaching her. For so reason, staring at his presence now made her feel uneasy. Was this a sign that she shouldn’t trust him too much?

"Cliff, why did you co to all of a sudden?"

Cliff smiled sarcastically, walked quickly towards his ex-fiancée then moved his lips closer to her tempting red lips.

"Edith, does Eliana want a father?"

"What?"

"If she wants to, I want to be her father."
