Although they missed the sunset, they still enjoyed the star-filled night sky while enjoying a romantic dinner outdoors at the resort. It had been a long ti since she and her husband had enjoyed this beautiful night sky, having been so busy preparing for the fashion show event and wedding. Now, no one would disturb them, allowing them to enjoy the beautiful view until they fell asleep.
"I wonder. Is Edith still shining up there?" Edith asked, resting her chin on her hand.
Callum took his wife’s hand and kissed the back of it for a few seconds. "Of course. My Edith will always shine up there. She will never fade, no matter how many people try to bully her."
Hearing her husband’s sweet talk made her laugh happily as she set her spoon and fork on her plate as she finished her last bite. "My Callum must always be shining brightly, too. He’s always with when I sleep. He’ll never dim, even if soone tries to steal from you again."
"Can you stop talking about that? Aren’t you tired of being constantly fought over?"
"I actually enjoy watching you beco more and more charming as you fight to win back. But, on the other hand, I don’t want that to happen again. I’d rather live quietly with the little family we’ve created over the past five years."
Callum grabbed his cara again and snapped a photo of his wife’s beauty, suddenly gazing at the stars with a sweet smile. "You’re so sweet. I want to use that as my profile picture later."
Edith imdiately grabbed her husband’s cara and stared at the resulting photo with a beaming smile. "You’re really good at taking my photos. You should send it to , too."
"Can I take your picture again?"
"No way! I’ll hold your cara for now." Edith also wanted to take a sneaky photo of her husband. When he was also gazing at the stars, she snapped the photo while holding back laughter.
"Callum, you look very handso too. You can see the results of this photo." Edith imdiately returned the cara to her husband.
Callum stared at his own photo, beaming as he kissed his wife briefly on the lips. "Now I want to take a picture with you."
Edith is more likely still curious about her husband’s current hobby of taking photos with her. While Callum is known for showing off their ti together, he rarely posts photos of them on his social dia accounts. Has he been keeping another secret?
"Why do you always like taking pictures with ?"
"Because I want to keep every mory we went through together."
"Are you still traumatized because I forgot about you?"
Her eyebrows lowered instantly. A weak sigh escaped her lips. "Actually, that’s one of the reasons. You didn’t rember at all before, and all our photos disappeared from your phone. That’s why now I want to save more beautiful mories so you’ll always rember ."
Edith shook her head quickly, got up from the chair, and held out her right hand. "I want to sit on the sofa with you so we can look at the stars more freely."
They shifted for a mont to cuddle. Edith rested her head on her husband’s broad shoulder, gazing up at the stars still shining in the sky. Hearing his answer made her feel guilty for being so selfish in the past. Was her husband still upset with her?
"Callum, I will definitely never forget you again. If I get amnesia again, you can lock up and make rember you again."
Callum burst out laughing, gently stroking his wife’s head. "You’re the one who looks more possessive than now."
"Of course. I won’t leave you alone again. I can’t bear the thought of you chasing all this ti, while I’m clueless and constantly avoiding you."
"You don’t have to feel guilty all the ti. The important thing is that you and I are married now. Plus, you and I can have a sweet vacation after five years of waiting."
"By the way, do you miss our twins? We’ve only been apart for a day, but I miss them so much right now."
"Of course I miss them so much right now. I even want to video call them."
"I hope they’re still awake. I miss playing with them." Edith imdiately took out her phone and called Renata, pointing the cara at them.
In less than five seconds, the video call connected. Her eyes lit up as she stared at her twins, clearly visible on the screen.
"Mom, dad!" The twins are called at the sa ti.
Callum waved his right hand enthusiastically. "Kids, do you miss mom and dad?"
"Of course I miss mommy and daddy very much,"Erdin replied with an innocent facial expression.
"Mom and Dad, you don’t need to worry about us. You should just go on vacation."Eliana’s uncharacteristically stubborn suggestion made Edith and Callum furrow their eyebrows.
"It’s so strange to hear you not whining, my daughter. Don’t you miss us?" Edith asked, looking longingly into her daughter’s face.
"I really miss Mom and Dad. But people say that newlyweds should go on vacation together. Erdin and I don’t want to bother Mom and Dad anymore."
"So you two can think like adults now." He laughed awkwardly, putting his arm around his wife’s shoulders. "When you’re older, you’ll understand the true aning."
"By the way, where is Aunt Renata?" asked Edith with an innocent look.
"Aunt Renata is playing gas with Uncle Patrick. They said Eliana and I can use this phone to call Mom and Dad."
"It turns out Patrick didn’t want to waste this golden opportunity either." Callum briefly pointed the cara at the star-filled night sky. "Can you see the stars behind us?"
"Wow, there are so many stars!"Eliana and Erdin replied, their eyes sparkling.
"I’m sorry we can’t take you to see the stars together now."
"It’s okay, Dad. We’re satisfied with what we see now."
"You’re such good kids. You care so much about us." He snapped his fingers and looked at his wife. "Don’t be sad, I’m planning to take you on vacation too. It’s even more beautiful than the Maldives."
