Edith imdiately grabbed her fiancé’s hand tightly and ran, avoiding the two n who were still chasing her. She was curious about who was targeting her all of a sudden. Was this all Yvette’s doing? The most important thing now was to escape this situation with Callum. Fortunately, Callum saved her just in ti, even though the original plan was for them to go to separate shopping malls.

Edith and Callum imdiately got into a sedan parked on the side of the road. Callum drove at full speed before the two thugs caught up to them. Edith stared fearfully in the rearview mirror, gripping the door handle.

"Edith, are you hurt?"

"I’m fine. If you hadn’t saved earlier, I would have been in trouble."

"Luckily, today’s eting ended early, so I was able to pick you up." Callum glanced at his fiancée, gripping the steering wheel tightly. "By the way, I sent you a ssage earlier. Didn’t you read it?"

Edith imdiately opened her phone and read a text ssage from Callum, informing her that the eting was over early and that he would pick her up. She glanced at her fiancé as she tucked her phone into her sling bag.

"Sorry, I should have read that ssage from you."

"I know you were busy putting on your make-up and didn’t have ti to read my ssage."

"Callum, could you stop sweet-talking ? Aren’t you afraid we’re being chased?"

"Looks like we’ll have to postpone our date for now. The situation isn’t conducive."

"So, where are we going now?"

"You’ll be working at the hotel for the ti being. I’ll have the hotel manager prepare a VIP room for you."

Edith wasn’t the only one staying in the hotel room. Their twins were also invited to stay there temporarily until Callum caught the perpetrator who had been chasing them. Erdin and Eliana were confused by the situation, as it was unusual for them to be invited to stay in a hotel room. anwhile, Renata and Patrick were also restless, pacing around the VIP room.

"I checked Edith’s car’s dashcam, but it wasn’t clear who the two strange n were," Renata said.

"Was it Yvette who ordered her n to chase Edith?" Patrick looked at Edith with a worried look.

"What is certain is that for the ti being, Edith and the twins will stay here until we have caught the perpetrator."

Edith rested her chin on her hands. "But how do we prove that Yvette is the culprit?"

"I have to see her again." A harsh breath escaped his lips. "We were supposed to be on a date today."

"Don’t think about the date yet! Right now, I want us to focus on Yvette, who’s targeting !" Edith looked at her twins, who were doing their howork. "I’m afraid the kids will be affected."

Callum also looked at his twins with a sad look. "If I can ta Yvette’s heart, she won’t target you again."

"So, when are you going to et her?"

"Tonight. I’m going to invite her to dinner with ."

Edith looked depressed because she couldn’t have a romantic dinner with her fiancé. She had been excited about going on a date with him, as they had promised to spend so free ti together today. Due to this strange situation, she was forced to postpone the date again.

anwhile, Callum couldn’t bear to let his fiancée enjoy dinner with only the children. He knelt before his beloved fiancée, clasping her hands tightly.

"Actually, I still wanted to have a romantic dinner with you today. I’m disappointed that today’s incident ruined my plans."

Edith shook her head slowly. "After you have dinner with Yvette, will you promise one thing? I want to see you before I go to bed."

"Of course. I don’t want to be with that woman for long either."

Edith hugged her fiancé’s muscular body tightly, resting her head on his broad shoulder. "You have to be careful, Callum."

"You too. I’ll call the security guard patrolling outside this room."

"Can I hug you for a mont? I still want to be with you."

Callum nodded. He really wanted to hold his fiancée’s tiny body a little longer to relieve his fear. He was still traumatized by seeing her being chased by two strange n in broad daylight. If he was late in saving her, he would lose her for a second ti.

"Callum, a lot of people really liked last night’s photos."

"My purpose in asking you out today is because I want to take more pictures of you."

"People are so jealous because I told them you were my personal photographer." Edith lifted her head slowly. "I’d like to take your picture once in a while, too."

"If you were the one to take my picture, the result would definitely be very good."

"You sound very confident."

"I’ve always been satisfied with your photos."

Being chased by two strange n made Edith cling even more to Callum. She felt like she didn’t want to let go of his embrace, which had made her feel so comfortable. Furthermore, rembering the sweet mont last night made her long to revisit that ti.

"If there were stars again today like yesterday, could I see them with you?"

"Of course you can. Don’t worry, this hotel has a VIP rooftop specifically for stargazing."

In the end, Callum asked Yvette to have dinner with him at his hotel. He actually chose the hotel as the location so he could quickly return to his fiancée. Furthermore, inviting her to dinner at the hotel was a strategic excuse to avoid Yvette becoming too suspicious.

Callum ordered the most expensive al in the hotel restaurant. He was supposed to order it for Edith, but now it was being enjoyed by a wicked woman. All he could do now was fake a smile to get more insight into Yvette’s true thoughts.

"Callum, thank you for inviting to dinner with you today."

"Actually, I wanted to discuss business with you. I heard your overseas clients are looking for an elite hotel. I wanted to recomnd my hotel to you."

Yvette smiled gracefully, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "It’s an honor to have you here, Callum. I’m sure my clients will love this luxurious hotel."

"By the way, aren’t you curious about how your stepsister is doing?"
