Since it was already evening, Arabella invited Jas to dinner with her at her residence to share this important information. Although her relationship with Cliff had improved, she still didn’t want to forget her ex-boyfriend, who truly loved her. Arabella nodded as she picked up the wine bottle. "I just rembered, you drive too."
"That’s not really the reason. But, I don’t want you to drink non-alcoholic drinks alone."
"You don’t need to force yourself."
"It’s not fair to you if you’re the only one who can’t enjoy it."
As usual, those simple words made her heart race again. She felt even more guilty about sharing the good news because she didn’t want to hurt Jas’ feelings again. However, for the sake of the mission’s success, she was forced to hurt his feelings.
"I managed to make Cliff trust ."
"I knew you could do it," Jas smiled casually at his ex-girlfriend. "You’re really good at acting. You’d be perfect for a secret agent like ."
"But, would you be mad if I went back to him?"
"No. Why would I be angry? Besides, you wanted to go back to him for the sake of your mission."
"Actually, it was thanks to you that helped ."
Jas widened his eyes and pointed at himself with his index finger. "?"
"If you hadn’t helped and taught to act, I wouldn’t have succeeded in winning her heart."
"It really depends on you, Arabella. Whether you want to side with or go back to Cliff." Jas took an awkward sip of his water.
"I will side with you, Jas."
"Because I’m your friend?"

"I told him the truth earlier. You and I have been communicating with each other all this ti."

"Cliff, have you arrived at the restaurant yet?"
"Sorry, I can’t have a romantic dinner with you today."

"I have a eting with a VIP client that lasts until late at night. I’m sorry I can’t join you for dinner tonight."
