After arriving in Russia this ti, Chen Yiyang felt that everything he encountered was a mix of good and bad.

For example, visiting the automobile factory.

Chen Yiyang originally thought that Tula City only had the Changcheng automobile factory.

So when he talked with Gena, he didn’t ntion too many details.

The result was, the good news was, Gena indeed found local officials in Tula City to take them to tour the automobile factory.

The bad news was that the factory they visited was not Changcheng’s, but rcedes-Benz’s.

"Before the war started, this factory was operated and managed by rcedes-Benz. Every year, they produced a large number of cars for sale in various cities across Russia.

But after the war started, because rcedes exited the Russian market, taking their technicians and managent staff with them, this factory beca idle. Our workers can’t operate this factory independently."

The Tula official responsible for receiving Chen Yiyang and Gena was a middle-aged man around forty, who looked very honest.

He was very attentive to Chen Yiyang and Gena’s visit, having heard that Chen Yiyang was a Huaxia person, and brought along a beautiful, tall Russian girl in her twenties as a translator.

However, it was clear that this girl wasn’t there for Chen Yiyang to admire without cost.

The official’s words had only one implication, which was that although this factory left by rcedes now legally belonged to Tula City, Tula City did not have the capacity to operate it independently; it needed foreign investnt help.

And Chen Yiyang was their perceived foreign investor.

After all, a Huaxia person found connections in Moscow to co to Tula and specifically requested to be involved with the automobile factory—not likely for tourism.

Chen Yiyang understood what the Tula official ant, so he could only ask, "I recall the Huaxia Changcheng Company also invested in a factory in Tula. Why not ask them to take over this factory?"

"They’re unwilling." The Tula official answered honestly, "Firstly, they said they’re unfamiliar with the rcedes factory and can’t manage it. Secondly, their factory in Tula already produces enough cars to sell every year and doesn’t need to establish a new one."

"Brother." At this mont, Gena suddenly pulled Chen Yiyang aside and said in English, "What do you think about buying this factory, then finding a way to disrupt the Changcheng factory to stop their production, so we can sell this factory to them at a high price?"

"No need for that." Chen Yiyang imdiately interrupted Gena’s thought.

Though he had grievances with Changcheng.

Using such tactics against Changcheng abroad would likely lead to retaliation in the future.

Besides, employing such unconventional thods tends to be despised.

"Alright then." Gena seed a bit disappointed.

After visiting the rcedes factory, Chen Yiyang asked the Tula official if he could take them to tour the Changcheng factory.

"I’ll try to contact them." The official stepped aside to make a few calls and quickly returned apologetically.

"They say the factory is undergoing a major inspection recently, so it’s inconvenient for outsiders to visit."

"Just tell them we’re important people from Moscow," Gena was unhappy after hearing the Tula official’s words.

Seeing the official’s troubled expression, Chen Yiyang stopped Gena and advised him not to press further.

In a small city like Tula, capitalists are likely more powerful than the city governnt, as it involves thousands of job positions.

Before returning to the hotel that evening, Chen Yiyang asked the official for a lot of information about the rcedes factory.

After reviewing the materials, Chen Yiyang found that the situation of the factory was pretty much as the official stated.

Before the war began, the factory produced nurous mid to high-end cars annually for sale in the Russian market.

But the factory relied heavily on technological support from Germany.

After the Germans left, although the Russians no longer had to worry about patent rights, the Germans took all the confidential technology with them.

Without technical support, the factory couldn’t independently produce qualified cars.

Moreover, the technology required knowledgeable technicians to operate.

The next morning, Chen Yiyang woke up and glanced at his phone.

Today’s intelligence, idle automobile factory: Russian Tula City has an automobile factory left by rcedes-Benz. The Tula City governnt is looking for a company to take over this factory. Acquiring it at a low price offers a steal.

Contact information for relevant personnel and so important facility image addresses are attached on the second page.

???

Chen Yiyang was a bit bewildered.

The factory ntioned in the intelligence was the one he visited yesterday.

A factory, even with complete hardware conditions, lacks technology, lacks software, even lacks managent personnel.

Just having workers and equipnt can’t start production, right?

Why did the intelligence say this factory was a steal?

Chen Yiyang ticulously reviewed the intelligence once more, noticing it contained quite a few images.

After examining each image thoroughly, Chen Yiyang discovered one of them was a photo of a backup server room in the factory.

Is there a possibility...

Possibly the rcedes personnel forgot to delete the data in the backup server room when they were leaving?

Chen Yiyang suddenly had a hypothesis.

He imdiately called Gena, requesting another tour arrangent.

"I found a nice night club in Tula, filled with beauties. I won’t accompany you; go on your own."

Gena provided Chen Yiyang with the official’s contact information, so Chen Yiyang contacted the Tula City Governnt official himself.

The official was still very diligent today, detailing the various aspects of the factory to Chen Yiyang.

Chen Yiyang pretended to stroll around near the server room.

"Can I take a look here?" Chen Yiyang inquired.

"Certainly," the official imdiately nodded.

Chen Yiyang went inside and found most of the equipnt had been shut down.

Taking advantage of the Tula official not noticing, Chen Yiyang dismantled a few hard drives and took them with him.

Back at the hotel, Chen Yiyang transmitted the data from the hard drives to Yiyang Automobile’s tech team in his ho country to investigate.

Soon, feedback arrived from their side.

"These materials seem to be rcedes’s core technical data, including complete software technologies and so key production technologies, as well as related internal managent rules."

"So much data can fit on a single hard drive?" Chen Yiyang was sowhat skeptical.

"Mr. Chen, the information you sent us is actually just directories.

In other words, if the server room is intact, these materials might be stored there. Although there may be so anti-leakage asures in place, they can likely be bypassed once disconnected."

"Then gather several German-speaking technicians to co to Russia," Chen Yiyang imdiately instructed.
