Entering the Divine Dao, out of seclusion!

Chen Lan stood on the firmant, ready to head to the Evil Realm. A great battle was about to comnce, but before that, he needed to set up formations.

He couldn’t do it alone.

He had to set up multiple ancient teleportation arrays, just in case, and they could bring in others to help if they wished. If not, that was fine too, he wouldn’t force them.

Three days later, Chen Lan had set up multiple ancient teleportation arrays in the surrounding area, already connecting Blue Star, the Desolate Celestial Realm, and other places. With a single thought, these teleportation arrays would activate imdiately, but they could only be used to transfer in, not out; they were one-way teleportation arrays.

This was a precaution to prevent the Evil Race from coming over.

"Who are you?"

Suddenly, Chen Lan whipped around, summoning the Demon God Sword, and stared coldly at the void space.

"The Demon Emperor is indeed formidable."

A voice sounded, a portal opened in space, and a figure stepped out. The man’s skin was brownish-yellow, his physique was large and burly, yet his eyes had vertical pupils and occasionally flicked out a forked, slender tongue.

Snake Demon, Chen Lan instantly recognized it as a demon because of its strong demonic aura.

"Who are you? Since you recognize , what have you co for?" Chen Lan asked calmly, preparing for battle.

This Snake Demon wasn’t even at the half-step Divine Dao realm; he could cut it down with a single sword.

"I was sent by the Demon King."

"Demon King? How did you find ?"

Strange, it should have been impossible for anyone to find him, especially not a demon.

"The Demon King used a bloodline secret technique to sense the Demon God Sword, which led him to you."

Upon hearing this, Chen Lan was stunned—Demon God Sword, Demon King?

Suddenly, his body trembled violently, recalling many things about an old friend, the Ancient Demon Gu Changge!

That was the friend he t during his journey to the Desolate Celestial Realm, but they later beca enemies over certain issues.

Why had he co looking for him?

"What do you want?"

"The Demon King has been waiting for a long ti, hoping you could visit the Demon Realm to discuss a plan to overthrow the Evil Race together."

"Ha, he wants to plan how to overthrow the Evil Race with him?" Chen Lan sneered, shaking his head. "Has he gone mad, or did I mishear? I told him not to go to the Celestial Domain back then, yet he turned against ."

"Not to ntion, he even gave the Demon God Sword to his son, telling him to kill ."

Chen Lan found it sowhat laughable—a demon who wanted to kill him inviting him to the Demon Realm to discuss overthrowing the Evil Race. It had to be a trap.

"The Demon King asked to convey that he knows he was wrong about the past and hopes to apologize in person. As for his son being sent to kill you, that was an act of compulsion. After all, it was his son, and he knew his son couldn’t kill you, considering you are the Demon Emperor."

"Ha, knowing that he couldn’t kill , what if he did?" Chen Lan found it laughable.

Knowing he couldn’t kill him, yet still sending his son to do it—how shaless could one be?

He went to the Celestial Domain and lost all sha.

"If he killed you, then you wouldn’t be the Demon Emperor."

"Alright, alright, I won’t go there. If there’s really a need to overthrow the Evil Race, wait for my attack and follow."

After saying that, Chen Lan flickered and disappeared.

Upon hearing this, the Snake Demon’s face turned gloomy. He couldn’t convince the Demon Emperor to go back; he would likely face a scolding on returning.

But he had no choice but to report back to the Demon King.

...

A day later.

Demon Prison Mountain.

At the foot of the mountain, Chen Lan appeared out of thin air, looking up at the towering mountain and the tall tower at its peak, his face clouded.

His daughter was imprisoned within. It was sothing everyone in the Evil Race knew, almost as if the whole Celestial Domain was aware!

"Demon Emperor."

Just as Chen Lan took his first step, a voice rang from behind, causing him to whirl around.

Upon seeing the newcor, he was stunned. The face was so familiar.

The newcor appeared to be a middle-aged man, with chiseled features and a handso deanor, a friendly smile at the corner of his mouth, dressed in a black robe with his hands behind his back.

"Long ti no see." Chen Lan had a flood of thoughts, rembered, and grinned.

The man said nothing, only walked step by step towards Chen Lan, suddenly opening his arms to embrace him: "It’s been a long ti. It’s truly wonderful to see you again."

"A bit too sentintal." Chen Lan laughed.

This person wasn’t really human; he was a ghost, Ghost King Yang Tian!

He was also his close brother, whom he t in the Desolate Celestial Realm. After the battle in the Celestial Domain, he secluded himself to cultivate his three incarnations, erging only to find the Ghost King had disappeared, having gone to the Celestial Domain with the Demon King.

Yet their purposes were different. The Demon King went to learn and ascend, hoping to grow stronger, while the Ghost King went to seek revenge for him.

"Hahaha, what’s so sentintal about it?" Yang Tian released Chen Lan and scrutinized him carefully, delighted but then frowned: "Why did you co?"

The Celestial Domain was too unsafe, with everyone wanting to kill Chen Lan. He shouldn’t have co here; he should have left quickly with Blue Star, escaping as far as possible.

"So matters must be resolved, I had to co." Chen Lan declared resolutely.

"The Celestial Domain is too dangerous, even linked to the heavens. No matter if you break through to the Divine Dao, can you fight ten, a hundred Divine Dao practitioners?" Yang Tian spoke gravely.

It was unwise; a single person couldn’t resist the Celestial Domain. Over the years, the Evil Race’s infiltration was too widespread, leaving only the Demon Realm and the Ghost Realm untouched. The rest were all territories of the Evil Race, each with at least one Divine Dao powerhouse.

That Celestial Emperor was an outstanding figure among the Divine Dao, possessing a Supre Treasure of Transcendence and complenting divine techniques with overwhelming power.

Even he was easily crushed. Chen Lan arriving so early was not a wise choice.

If he ca, he should have brought more people along.

"How would I know if I don’t try?" Chen Lan chuckled.

"You are as confident as ever. Co with to the Ghost Realm first to discuss. I knew you would co here, so I waited for you early, afraid you might do sothing foolish."

Yang Tian looked up at the tall tower on Demon Prison Mountain: "If you attack here, it’ll undoubtedly attract the attention of the Celestial Emperor, who will rush over imdiately. If you’re not a match, you’ll certainly die. Plan first, then attack."

"Alright." Chen Lan mused, nodding.

He indeed acted on impulse, not thinking it through. Hearing the Ghost King speak made him realize the need to prepare thoroughly.

Subsequently, the two left Demon Prison Mountain.

In the high tower, the witch, suspended, sensed so connection, looking outside.

She seed to feel a bloodline connection—was it her father?

Had he co?

Her heart began to light up with anticipation and hope. Her father, whom she hadn’t seen in countless years, was finally coming.

Little did she know, Chen Lan rely passed by, then left.

Leaving behind a pitiful girl, anxiously awaiting with longing eyes.
